  1. Listen mate, I'll feel however I want to feel. So you calm your shit. Also which Total War games have you actually played? Because I can't think of one thing I agreed with them about. So I'm just curious what were they right about in that Video? It seemed to me, that they didn't have a clue what they were talking about.
  2. One of those songs is in the game. Not telling you which one tho... ahh cmon man, the suspense is killing me! ive thought about it forever and cant figure it out. I can see all of these songs in the game, to tell you the truth. I'll tell you what it is. It's Happy?
  3. Did you actually watch the IGN Video I posted? Watch it, then maybe you might understand what I'm going on about...
  4. I know that a review is based on personal opinion, but this is irrelevant to the topic at hand. These 2 people are supposed to be "Game Journalists", and they are being paid to review this game. So shouldn't they have a little bit of experience with the Total War Franchise? Which has been around for the past 13 years. I mean you might as well pay me to review the game because I've been playing the series since Medieval: Total War, and all combined have put over 2500 hours into these games. Why give the job too these Fools? Is it because no one at IGN gives a flying-fuck about the "Total War" Series. Probably because it's to slow paced and methodical for them, and these idiots with short attention spans and no patience would rather play StarCraft or something. Either way I'll be pissed if this game gets anything under an 8/10 ( because this is my most anticipated PC game of the year ). And judging by IGN's "Review in Progress", I'll be giving more credence to other reviews from different sites over their half-assed bullshit.
  5. The locations of Mulholland & Pacoima Dams ( Mulholland is labelled "A" & Pacoima "B" ) ~ Mulholland Dam ( & Hollywood Reservoir ) ~ Pacoima Dam ( & Pacoima Reservoir ) ( In GTA V it's called "Land Act Dam" as seen in the Screen below ) ~ So I guess I was wrong. It looks like there will be two Dams in GTA V.
  6. So this tiny bit of land has enough rivers and water to justify the existence of 116 Dams... Los Angeles County ~
  7. We don't know when the gameplay was taken in that Gameplay Trailer. It could of been taken from months before the trailer was even made, let alone released. ( The same goes for the other Trailers & Screens ) So just because the Gameplay Trailer came out recently, doesn't mean the footage shown in it is new. Or that the features of the map haven't been changed in the months since it was taken. I don't think we can definitely say that there are two Dams, so I think I'll reserve any final judgement until I actually see the game. *EDIT - I'm wrong. Both Dams look like 2 real-world counterparts within 5 miles of each other in L.A.
  8. It's hard to tell, due to the differences in perspectives. You could be right, but why would there be two Dams? It doesn't make sense, having two dams that close to each other ( unless of course they're both part of the same reservoir ) How many Dams does real life L.A. have? ( and what does the design look like? )
  9. When were the two screens released? And how do we know that this isn't the same Dam taken at different times in the development of the game? ( where the look of the Dam has been tweaked )
  10. Review in Progress from IGN ~ http://www.ign.com/v...iew-impressions These idiots at IGN sound like they've never even played a Total War game. One of them was supposedly a Veteran TW Player as well, but he didn't know anything about Food, Zeal, Movement Points for Armies or even that there was an In-Game Encyclopaedia that would have an answer for every retarded question he had. If the idiots were a little bit smarter they might actually dig around and then find the info they're moaning about not seeing. I mean does it have to be in Giant Fucking Letters, right in-front of their dumb fucking faces. Also while he's complaining about not seeing any helpful information, he ignores the advisor, and closes the help-tip pop ups before even reading them ( MORONS! / I hope these guys don't review the game/ because it looks like they've never played a Strategy Game in their lives ). The guy is so dumb that in the battle shown he sends his forces to attack the enemy in one massive blob ( with no tactics whatsoever/ like flanking with the Calvary units he had ), he then lets the enemy charge it's spearmen right into his stationary cavalry ( slaughtering them in the process ). Also he complained about the Velites ( Latin ) name, thinking it should be changed to Archers or Javelin Throwers ( WTF, how stupid are you that you need the names of units to be dumbed down that much? ) Plus it looks like they were playing on the bare-minimum Specs for the game, and then decided to rate the animations and shitty performance based off of their crap machine. They also commented about the poor pathfinding in relation to moving their armies, when I saw no problems whatsoever. The problem was that they cannot move into an enemies zone of control without having enough movement points to attack them, a veteran would know this. ( IGN needs to get some proper Strategy Game Journalists & Editors/ because this is pathetic, they're supposed to be the biggest Game News Site on the internet )
  11. That song from is in there because it's a great classic track ( and it's also one of my old-school hip hop favourites ).
  12. I don't think that any one of the protagonists will betray the other two. Because... 1) It's way too obvious ( and Rockstar probably has something better up their sleeves )............. And 2) It will fuck up the main "game mechanic" of switching between the 3 characters at will ( if one is locked out ). BUT.... If one of the protagonists does betray the other two, it would be interesting if you could still play the game from the double-crossers point of view. I.E. being able to switch to them during Free-Roam or during a Non-Heist Mission so you can mess around with the other two characters. ( I don't know how it would work gameplay-wise, but it sounds good )
  13. ^^That would have to be one long bridge. @Bronson, there is no way that GTA V's map is that big. My guess is that it won't even take 5 minutes to travel from one end of the island to the other by plane ( even a broke-ass piece of junk could probably do it in 2 mins )...
  14. Remember that they have had an additional 6 months to implement new features ( minus the time for fixing bugs and polishing ), so I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar was still holding back a few game features until release ( like a Dynamic Weather System which incorporates snow in the northern region/ or the Main Story progressing over a timeline of a few years ) ( Who knows? ).
  15. Well "Yank" is a British/ Aussie slang term for Americans ( and most of Rockstar's Founder's/ Dev's are from Scotland ), so it makes sense that they would put this pejorative term in a GTA town's name. The slang term "Yank" is often associated with stereotypes of Americans being Fat/ Stupid people who all drive hummers and vote Republican ( and can't find any country but their own on a map ). Plus it also helps that it has a vague reference to a real world place with a lot of snow, in the US. My guess is that GTA V's "North Yankton" will be full of upper-class snob NPC's with big expensive cars, and expensive clothing/jewellery ( Satirising upper-class Ski-Resort Towns ). The NPC's will probably react to Trevor and Franklin with Disdain, but will accept Michael as one of their own ( plus beating them up/ robbing them will almost definitely result in a larger cash drop than normal NPC's )...
  16. That map you made looks pretty spot on. If there is any snow in GTA V it will probably only show up in those locations ( around the higher altitude areas such as Mt Josiah & Mt Chiliad ).
  17. I reckon snow could be a part of GTA V in one of 3 different ways. 1) - ( the most likely ) It's only in one isolated area of the map ( like Pothatuu said ). 2) - ( only semi-likely ) If the events in the story happen over a timeline, there could be a weather cycle that blankets different portions of the map in snow ( during the winter timelines ). 3) - ( unlikely ) Maybe snow is part of one of the new areas that will be made for GTA Online ( because Rockstar said that they would be adding content over time/ possibly introducing new portions to GTA V's map/ adding to either the main land or maybe creating other islands off the coast ). Remember the place that has snow ( "North Yankton" ) in the Brochure has a real world equivalent in South Dakota ( or it could be based off of Aspen/ or another Ski Resort Town ). So maybe this is pointing to a bigger GTA Online in the future covering more of the US with fictional cities and towns based on real world places. It would be cool if all of the locations were connected too one another as well ( and made into one "Giant Game World"/ it might be possible with Next-Gen Hardware??? ). ^^Where's the Snowy area of GTA V's map seen in this postcard?^^ ( We haven't seen any snow in the Screens or Videos, and it hasn't been mentioned in any of the Previews or Interviews/ So where is this "North Yankton"? ) The "GTA Online Map" could end up stretching North up to San Fierro ( San Francisco ), and East to Las Venturas ( Las Vegas/ plus R* could legitimately add Area 51 ( "69" ) since it's in Nevada as well ) and maybe even add another City & Town further East like Salt Lake City and Aspen ( Aspen is marked "A" on the map ), too add some more variety to the terrain with some snowy areas ( plus it would be interesting if they added a Yellowstone like National park in the north/ due to the diversity of it's wilderness ).
  18. I like the idea of Rockstar doing a Sci-Fi game set in space ( along the lines of Mass Effect/ but with open worlds on the planets ). But a game like this would not fall under a GTA title. Grand Theft Auto games are grounded in reality ( albeit a satirised version of reality ), and are primarily focused on the Crime/ Action Genre. Rockstar could make a brand new IP for Next-Gen consoles centred around Sci-Fi ( but only after they've made a new Red Dead ). They could make it different from other Sci-Fi games by adding Wormhole Gates to every world, and in space ( similar to Stargates/ like in the Movie & TV shows of the same name/ but they could make them look different, and bigger so that ships can travel through them ). They could call it "Cosmic Gate" or something. *PS - I wonder why they never did a proper Stargate game, it has tonnes of potential for variation ( imagine all of the possible Worlds & Alien Races there could be/ with Alien Cities and Alien Jungles/ Alien Animals etc ).
  19. So it's just fog then. It looks like the weather system will be a lot more extensive than in previous GTA's. I wonder how thick it is on the ground? It could really add to the City and Countryside's 'atmosphere' if there's hardly any visibility during a fog.
  20. I have a Noob Question, how do you upload pictures to the Forum? I try copying the Pic but it won't let me paste it into my post.
  21. From the new Official GTA V Trailer. Is this the Alamo Sea behind the Vinewood Sign, or maybe the Ocean? Or is there fog hiding the land or something? Are the Hills in the distance connected to the Mainland? Or are they separate islands? Also, can anyone tell me ( using the map known so far ) which direction this Screencap is pointing?
  22. Bears were confirmed in a couple of the new previews that came out with the GTA Online Video ( or it might of been one of the Leslie Benzies Interviews ).
  23. The new GTA V Trailer premieres at 01:00 AM on the 30/08/2013 ( in about 4 hours ) in Sydney, Australia ( for anyone else on the East Coast of Oz )...
  24. It looks a lot like a "Pipe Bomb". Only without a Detonator Cord. *EDIT: @Bmw1126 got it before me...
