Rayge 689 Report post Posted March 31, 2012 1. San Andreas - I like the setting, atmosphere and the whole "west coast 90's hip-hop" theme 2. CJ 3. Don't know, enjoyed them both 4. 90's definitely 5. Depends if Carl is fat, skinny, strong or weak... In their first seen forms, Tommy would win.

ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted March 31, 2012 1. See username. 2. Tommy, CJ was a whining prick at times. 3. Vice. SA's was too obsurd, "oh look i'm a small time gangsta in the ghetto, no wait now i'm working with the Triads and running a garage, no actually now i'm working with the Mafia and helping to run a casino." Vice's was shorter but more believable and concise. Not to say I don't like SA's story though. 4. 80's Vice. 5. Tommy would fuck CJ up with a purple dildo. As i've always said; III wins in terms of atmosphere, Vice wins in setting and SA wins in gameplay.
ConQueSteD 552 Report post Posted April 1, 2012 1. Which is your favorite and Why? Vice City, No explanation needed 2. Tommy Vercetti or Carl Johnson? Tommy Vercetti; CJ was a bitch 3. Better Story? Vice City 4. 80s Vice City or 90s San Andreas? Vice City (I prefer the vibrant feel) 5. IF Tommy and Carl had a fight, Who'd win? Tommy obviously he worked for the Forelli Family. CJ was a pussy street gansta wannabe.
Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 1, 2012 Do a lot of people hate CJ because of their furious hatred towards all the retarded noobs who prefer him kuz hez strng nd a gangsta, or Tommy is just so much cooler?

Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 1, 2012 Tommy obviously he worked for the Forelli Family. CJ was a pussy street gansta wannabe that worked his way up the ranks of the triads. Just sayin', the Triads are equally serious as the Italians.

JustAn808 130 Report post Posted April 2, 2012 1. Which is your favorite and Why? Overall, San Andreas was more enjoyable/memorable for me. Vice City's story was better, but the map and gameplay of SA was the tits. 2. Tommy Vercetti or Carl Johnson? Vercetti. 3. Better Story? See #1. Vice's story was more believable and it made me want to just play through it over and over again. SA's story was okay, but it just dragged on while I was waiting to get to the Truth's or Woosie's missions. 4. 80s Vice City or 90s San Andreas? 90's SA. 5. IF Tommy and Carl had a fight, Who'd win? CJ if he was beefed up and gone through all the gym training. That's if he gets passed his fear of that look in Tommy's eye.
Ruthless_GTA_Villain 3 Report post Posted April 3, 2012 1. GTA SA is my favourate but only just. They were both great games but the story line and characters, customization, environment have to make San Andreas better. 2. CJ because I felt more connected to his story. 3. San Andreas because of the range of missions. One mission you're in a gang war and next your running a casino, simply more entertaining missions. 4. 90's San Andreas simply because of the range of environments. 5. It would be very close but I think it would be CJ because he can go to the gym and get ripped and learn how to fight. All said though I really did like Vice City (even though it may not look like it) It was my first GTA (even though I played GTA III later on) and I loved just running around on the beach and at the airport, oh, and taking motorbikes in the mall! CFO Charles 827 Report post Posted April 3, 2012 1. San Andreas. Biggest map, longest story, more vehicles, San Andreas just had so much more overall 2. Tommy Vercetti. I like his "Hostile Takeover" approach to everything he did. CJ was just a bitch. 3. I think i'm going to have to say San Andreas, but just barely. VC was definatly more believable but some of the more over-the-top missions in SA (Black Project, Breaking the Bank) really sold it for me. I loved the Las Venturas story 4. I'm going to have to say 80's Vice City. San Andreas had a great map, especially with the desert and Venturas, But something about Vice City just felt better. I guess Vice City felt more in time, San Andreas could have applied to a number of decades while Vice City actually felt like the 80's. 5. Tommy. He had that crazy ass Spaz-12 and could still run faster than CJ when he was fully-ripped
Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 4, 2012 4. I'm going to have to say 80's Vice City. I guess Vice City felt more in time, San Andreas could have applied to a number of decades while Vice City actually felt like the 80's. I guess it wasn't as obvious, because a lot more people know about the 80's culture of America rather than the "gangsta" era of 90's Los Angeles. If you did, you'd instantly know it was the 90s (way people dressed, cars, music) and stuff all gave it away in San Andreas. Personally I think a lot of people prefer the setting of Vice City because maybe they lived through it or as I said, are more familiar with it. Of course that doesn't apply for everyone, but I believe it applies for some.

Mostly this. I would agree that listening to noobs that constantly preach praise upon CJ alters most opinions of the character. That and Tommy isn't as much of a bitch as CJ. There've been a lot of riots in LA, and the one I thought of during that chapter, was the 70's riots that included the Reuben Salazar murder.
