I don't know if anyone has discussed this but I'll go ahead and mention it anyway just in case. Has anyone connected the black guy running from the cops and the hispanic looking guy in the red car? They both look like they're wearing exactly the same clothes lol that's why some people were getting the 2 confused, but is this maybe some sort of gang connection? I don't know just thought I'd bring it up since news has been slow lately.

I found this bum sign online that looks like the one from the GTA V trailer. Did Rockstar get the sign from the internet?

So guys what you think? When will we get the next GTA V trailer? We got the first one on 1st november if I remember correctly. I think it'll be around January, probably last around 2 to 3 minutes

One thing that many have not really thought about is the cheats. The cheats in GTA IV were a huge fail I think its fair to say, whereas one of the reasons people can remember San Andreas so well is because of all the cheats that were possible. So whats your opinion, do you think that they will bring them fun cheats back for better replay value? and second out of all the cheats which one would you like to see return the most, mine being yep you guessed it Pedestrians Riot lol

I forgot to mention this but I heard this around 4 or 5 days ago or something but apparently such stores as Gamestop are gonna be putting up GTA V posters around late January... This would certainly back up the rumours of GTA V being released between May and September. That came from a few different people who worked at different Gamestops.

We had these "random" encounters with strangers in GTA IV and even RDR with people giving us stupid little side missions to complete, so will this continue in GTA V? Many of them had an actual life that progressed (or deteriorated) as the game went on which made it interesting to do them and see where their lives went. OPx just gave me a good idea for one: We find an up-and-coming actress who ends up doing porn. (fits perfect in Vinewood) We could end up rescuing her from that lifestyle later or she ends up making it big in porn. So what other kinds of these side missions would you like to see or think will fit in GTA V?

I was just thinking. If the game is set only in Los Santos, which is pretty much confirmed now. Will it be bigger than San Andreas in terms of actual map size? I realize San Andreas covered three cities and surrounding countryside, but everything was shrunk down and the cities were far smaller than any real city. GTA V clearly looks much richer in detail and bigger looking from what we have seen of it so far. But will it actually be bigger than San Andreas, or ever Red Dead?, since Rockstar have mentioned it is the largest and most ambitious game yet in their latest statement. Might as well start discussing it, but don't moan that the game is going to suck because it's not going to be San Andreas, that's not the point of this thread. Personally I hope it is bigger. So now that the trailer has been released, what are your predictions on the protagonist? From the trailer we can hear a voice which might be the protagonist, but nothing can be said yet. In my opinion, he sounds Caucasian and would fit the white guy looking off his balcony in the trailer. Then there is hispanic/black? guy that reappears constantly as well. Here is my theory: There are 3 protagonists, 1 from Los Santos, 1 from Las Venturas and 1 from San Fierro. As in GTA IV, there were 3 protagonists. Maybe as this trailer only focused on Los Santos, 2 more trailers about the other cities will be released with different people voicing over, as the protagonists. Hopefully we play an african-american or hispanic character, but that's just what I would prefer. But its great to see San Andreas again. What are your opinions and theories?

My breakdown: San Andreas! Or just Los Santos? Easily tell this from the countryside, inner city and Vinewood scenes. Lots of mentions of Los Santos (Beach Gym sign, van doors) Maybe further trailers will reveal more of Los Santos or San Andreas. 0:08 - Couple with a dog. Animals are in. What else? Countryside so horse etc? Maybe. Birds also spotted in there. 0:09 - Man wearing what looks like a Startbucks T-shirt. New food/drink store possibly. 0:09 - Sign for 'Pleasure Pier' I think it says. Will we be able to ride these this time around? 0:13 - Chopper can be seen flying about in the distance. Can we fly them in 5 like we couldn't in 4? 0:17 - Golf making another appearance. Probably be able to play some way or another again. 0:17 - Also, a little golf cart to the left, dying to be stolen and drove. Didn't get this in GTA IV untill TBOGT I believe. 0:18 - Blimp top right. Can we fly this thing? That would be awesome. 0:19 - Jet Ski's. Named simply 'Speedophile 2000'. 0:20 - Beautiful mountain. Looks amazing, and I do believe this is the Mt. Chilead from SA. 0:24 - Convertible roof opening. Lovely touch, maybe a hint of car modding making a return? 0:25 - Sign for 'Piercing'. Maybe hinting at the customizable options growing. 0:31 - Apartment looking place. Maybe part of the 'big house' mentioned at this point. Is it ours from the get go? 0:32 - Road signs. Los Puerta and Little Seoul. 0:33 - Beach Gym. Remember this from SA. Change the muscles on the main protagonist? I hope so. (Wasn't too keen on slightly chubby Niko) 0:39 - Mile High Club poster. Looks like it's for the building in progress. Could the buildings and work being done actually progress the further you get this time? 0:40 - 40-50 year old man. Main character? Friend? Enemy? 0:43 - Workers in field with plane flying by. Countryside is definitely in. And ability to fly planes again by the look of it. 0:48 - Looks like the start of a bank robbery. 3 guys and a 'BUGSTARS Pest Control, Los Santos' van. 0:49 - Pizza place in background. And a sexy car. 0:50 - 'Up-n-Atom Burger' van. The new Burger Shot most likely. 0:52 - Tramps and house selling suggest the story could be about the recession. Enforcing the money looking V. 0:56 - Hookers and beer. Great combination. 0:55 - Bike up the side of house. YAY. Maybe? No front wheel? I don't care, I'll ride that bitch like a unicycle. 0:58 - Man begging for money, and people look like they are living under the freeway. Again, money issues. 1:01 - Plane again! 1:02 - Man thrown out of club. Clubbing makes another appearance, and a yellow bike, what could that mean? 1:04 - Another beautiful car in a police chase. Man inside looks tanned and bald. Main character? Friend? Enemy? 1:06 - Black man running from police. Very unlikely, but CJ maybe? Unlikely to be CJ as GTA:SA was set what will be 20 years ago. So CJ would be kicking on a bit now. 1:09 - Thats the best looking fire I've seen in GTA. 1:10 - Vinewood. YEAH bitch. 1:11 - Jet, again most likely flyable. Characters - The commentator, and almost certain main playable character is talking about how he is a family man. Almost certain to play a role, kidnapped etc. Bought a big house, so lotta money, but as we see the homeless a lot, maybe he's getting desperate, hence entering/re-entering a life of crime. Returning Characters - Lot of talk of the man we see being Tommy Vercetti. I don't think it is. CJ will be 20 years older in V. Too old to make an appearence? No, but too old to be running along on missions, maybe. Packie flew off at the end of TBOGT in IV to an unknown location. And casting calls for Rockstar projects have included the name somebody 'McCreary', who lives with his cousin. Also, hopping out the back of the van in the trailer, man in the middle looks like it may just be him. Packie is likely to show up in my eyes. Niko had a ticket from Liberty City to San Andreas on Rockstar Social Club. Will he pay us a visit? Planes may not only suggest flying capabilities, but planes require airports, so this may mean the multiple airports around San Andreas, meaning more than just Los Santos. It's all very vague, but god damn it looks so good.

Well I think we are looking at a similar debut trailer to GTA IV. It shows the city and possibly shows off the new graphics and may have the main character speak or may even show the main character. I also think if there are things like planes in the game these will be shown. Well, What do you think.

So as crime is the one of the dominant themes in all GTA games, what types of crimes are you looking for? Here is a short list of what I would love to see: - Ability to rob pedestrians if they are in a secluded area, pick pocket, Break and Enter almost ANY house (With different difficulty levels), Rob any store, not only clothes shops and internet cafes, and jacking individual parts from cars. - Drug dealing, simiar to CTW, but maybe slightly harder as it was easy to become a millionaire in CTW. Also, I would like the AI to have drug deals, and the protagonist to have the ability to ambush these deals and take everything. - Ability to ambush someone in a dark alley, and "dispose" of their body, such as dumping in the sea, in a manhole, garbage can etc... And visible bodily damage similar but improved from RDR. I would also like to see dynamic AI commiting crimes as well, it would make the game much more realistic. - A Gang system similar to San Andreas but improved. Such as taking over a territory, and in each area there is a "clubhouse" similar to TLAD where all your gangmembers chill. - Bribing cops to let you off with crimes. There must be more, but this is all I can think of for now. What do you think? Anything to add, or anything you think isn't good?

Princess Robot Bubblegum, Republican Space Rangers... What TV shows or content do you want in GTA V either returning or new? I would like Rockstar to let some real-world production teams make TV shows for GTA5. The writers for Archer, the production team of South Park, and others would be cool to have in the game making episodes that are new yet with a familiar tone to them. I'm sure were all excited for the next GTA game and personally i think it will be announced sometime between now and June of this year. When do you think the next GTA will be released and have you heard any rumors?
