  1. I've got a few beginning/storylines in mind: 1) You start of in the character's past. Say Vice City in the 1990's or something, doing some missions that involve the protagonists past (basically a prolouge) just so we can get good backround on the guy. These missions involve lot's of killings and robberies, etc. After a number of those missions, it sort of goes into the present day and you decide you want to leave the gang and live a peaceful life. Your "homies" aren't to happy about it and they begin persuading you to stay. One dickhead goes way too far and begins pushing and shoving you, eventually slapping you. You lose your temper and shoot the guy, giving you a shit load of heat. So, the last mission in the prolouge involves escaping Vice City. You have to kill countless enemies coming after you, and get to safety. The game gives you three choices: 1) Escape by boat. 2) Escape by plane/helicopter. 3) Escape by car. Choosing to go via boat will lead to a huge chase and eventual shootout in the docks. Most of the chasers/shooters will be from the cars and controlling the neighbourhood. The other set of gangsters will be from a drugs shipment coming in. Once you kill them, you take one of the boats and head to Los Santos, bear in mind, the gangsters will come after you in their boats. Choosing to go by plane will lead to a huge airport shootout diverting incoming flights and cancelling outgoing flights. Once you kill of the gangsters, you can steal a plane or helicopter or force a pilot to fly you. This will take you to Los Santos. Going by car, will be the hardest way to go. You'll have to drive for miles in order to get to Los Santos, battling your way through chasers and road blocks created by gangsters and some roadblocks created by state police. The story could now go two ways: 1) Your car gets too much damage done to it. You abandon your car and make your way through the woods trying to escape the attention and find your way to Los Santos. Whilw travelling through the woods, you hear police and gangsters shouting stuff like "You can't hide forever you prick!!" or "Just give yourself up and make this less painful for yourself!!" You begin to think to yourself about just letting the bastards have you, when suddenly, someone in the woods (whether it be a normal resident or maybe a hippie, like The Truth) says: "I can get you outta here." You agree to the help offered and this person begins driving while you ride shotgun. Because your in the woods, you only bump into a few enemies. You eventually arrive in Los Santos. 2) You keep battling your way through the cops and gangsters, until you reach the toll bridge. Your crossing the toll bridge that leads into Los Angeles with one gang car still persuing you. The guy riding shotgun pulls out an RPG and attempts blow you up. Somehow, the idiot fires the RPG from a bad position blowing up the bridge as you race to get of. Going with the typical GTA style of things. The bridge will be closed indefintely. Now that you've somehow got to Los Santos, you begin trying to find a place to lay low. If you travel with the hippie, he has a few connections that can help you. If you went solo with your car, you travel about the city trying to find somewhere for rent or on sale for a decent price. You eventually find a small shithole crib to hold yourself up in for a while. The next morning when you wake up after a rough night sleep, people somehow find out who you are and find out you're in Los Santos. They begin calling you. You get to know a few people, and do small jobs like: intimidating people who have loaned money from the person you know, to maybe a petty car theft. Before you know, you begin getting your bad reputation back. After doing jobs and earning lots of money, you buy yourself that big house the protagonist dreamed of in the trailer. You have a family now and your life is going great. Suddenly, you find out the guys you're now working with, are connected to your former boss in Vice City. So, somehow, the bridge is reopened or he gets a private jet over or some shit. He, along with members of the gang, break into your house, kidnap your family and shoot you. After your family gets kidnapped and you get shot, you wake up in hospital, not forgetting what happened. You get out of hospital, and go on a relentless manhunt leaving nothing but blood and destruction in your path. The last mission involves going back to Vice City after you get a lead on the bosses location. You find him and your family in the gang's compound. You have a huge shootout, where you eventually come out on top. You go and finally get your family back. Your old gang is no more. You and your family go back home to good old Los Santos. Throughout time, you time up loose ends with some people... I forgot to mention that during the mission where you're escaping Vice City, the beginning credits come up. Not that it's important.
  2. I must admit, this most definitely the best topic I've ever seen being made!! EXCELLENT IDEA by the way. Very creative
  3. Just look at it here. Thanks a million I watched this video last night, and I now believe what people have been telling me...GTA5Videos are either BULLSHIT or made after they've saw others finding this type of stuff! I'm hopefully gonna have Max Payne 3 soon as well if stupid Play.com hurry up and fucking deliver it! On the other hand, I don't know what too believe in. There's a big chance it's fake, but also speculation that it's real. For all we know, Rockstar have purposely posted this on places to make us take our eyes of the real GTA V stuff...not likely, but ya never know. It could be genuine, but it could be bullshit as well. We'll not find out until more GTA V info is released or when we finally get to play it.
  4. The killstreaks weren't so bad, but the rest, I definitely agree with!!
  5. I think after Max Payne 3 is released in the rest of the world and once Rockstar do a few multiplayer events, they'll begin focusing a little more on GTA V. I reckon they'll start doing teasers to turn away from the facts.
  6. IV was ruined for me with it's lack of cheats and just no fun in the game what so ever. Multiplayer made a difference but single player wise, it was terribible. GTA V would be ruined if it turned out to be like Saints Row series and lack of cheats. I want something better than San Andreas, something pretty hard to do in my opinion, but it seems acheiveable.
  7. How did you manage to find links to the actual file? It wouldn't let me paste them or whatever it is you do to make them appear to others.
  8. I can't think of any good names for DLCs, but I would prefer there just to be one GTA V. I honestly think Episodes From Liberty City was a desperation encounter that only just paid off as GTA IV (The original one) just wasn't good.
  9. I would like you to add Brian567...AH WHO GIVES A CRAP's name in for wasting his time actually reading the topics he finds shit!!
  10. Seriously though, if you find it sooo shit...then why actually bother looking at it. Surely your brain would tell you that!
  11. OBVIOUSLY I DON'T FOLLOW BIOSHOCK!! IT'S SHITE!! Pretty sure I'd know the name by now if I did. You're the biggest cunt on the internet. And your caps lock is broken, moron. Why do you play GTA? Is it because YOU LIKE TO HIT PEDZ WITH CARS AT HIGH SPEED AND BECOZ THE GUNS ARE COOL? DO YOU MISS MODDING CARS CAUSE MODDING CARS IS COOL? Dick. No sure, we all play GTA so we can all be like you and play "SWALLOW THE LEADER!!" I might be the biggest cunt on the internet but your ma has the biggest cunt!!
  12. Video on YouTube by GTA5Videos about Bioshock being delayed due to GTA V. It won't let me paste the URL but the video is called GTA5-October release date! #2. It also says in the video that Take Two owns both Rockstar games and 2K Games. Maybe I wasn't clear on the Rockstar Czech thing and all, but they're both the same company. How'd you figure that out? I can't remember where I read it but it's all over the internet. Shouldn't be too hard to find it and give a couple links, then. The responses to this should be fun. I've found links, but it won't let me paste them. Your best bet is YouTube.com/GTA5Videos. There will be a video saying GTA5-October release! #2. You're actually starting to be a real pain in the hole, you know that. Got nothing good to say, don't say it...DICK!!
  13. How'd you figure that out? I can't remember where I read it but it's all over the internet. OBVIOUSLY I DON'T FOLLOW BIOSHOCK!! IT'S SHITE!! Pretty sure I'd know the name by now if I did. I know it's not, it's by 2K Czech, which is known to people as Rockstar Czech, it doesn't matter what it's called Take Two own both anyway.
  14. Fun Fact: There is no Rockstar Czech. You should really know what you're talking about before you speak. It's actually true. 2K Czech made Mafia 2 and the creators of that are now helping with GTA V. It's all over the internet how 2K Czech is Roskstar Czech and how TAKE TWO is the parent company. Think of it this way though, say Bioshock or whatever it is wasn't delayed and Rockstar go ahead with GTA V October release. Bioshock would be a dead loss to the whole business as everyone would obviously choose GTA V over Bioshock. Maybe it's nothing to do with GTA V but then again, it could be. Trust me...so do I :L
  15. Same :L Makes sense. I hope this is true, but it could also have nothing to do with GTAV. You've got a strong point. It could just be for an unexplianed reason. Though, like yourself and many others, I hope it's true
  16. Just heard that 2K Games (Rockstar Czech) have delayed their October release of Bioshock Infinite (or something) has now been delayed to February 2013 apparently due to GTA V. I don't know for sure, but if this is true, then this is another factor of the GTA V October 2012 release date...
  17. I'm very aware it's rumors and probably nothing more than that. But lots of people including myself expect Rockstar to have it completed at that percentage. I read 87% somewhere but it's probably more of a rough guess. 87% is kind of such a random number dude, it could perfectly be a 70% or 80% or no % what we are looking at is a game that according to the trailer looks near completion, but that according to the trailer, we are also ignoring to see that missions and other features do not appear on the trailer. we have no idea whether the trailers is an early work or if it is something they just made on the moment. you have to realize how difficult it has to be to make the scripts for the game, in the game engine so when you fly in a helicopter some random dude called roman calls you asking you if you want to go bowling. @nobody special, the original post was about why would the game "be released on October" You've deffinetly got a point. 87% is deffinetly a random number but it's the rough guess people including myself are making. I actually heard somewhere that the script would be alot bigger and more detailed than L:A NOIRE. But it could be rumors....Hope that's true though. then again most of what people have guessed was wrong. before the trailer was even out people started posting random shit, and most posts out there were practical nonsense, the game could perfectly be 100% completed, and R* in its efforts to gain major profit are pushing it before christmas, although it is most likely not what is happening, it is as possible as the game being 87% which in real life settings is a number that doesn't represent anything, is not like a cake you are cooking and is 87% completely cooked, realize that if the devs decide they should add more stuff into the game then that 87% is meaningless. now if you are speaking about the development of the map, that you guys are estimating that the map is 87% done, then that is a more viable estimation as we are talking about a specific input from the game. But what we can observe is that the map is the first thing R* worked on, and as stated by them (I am lazy to provide the source but they said it) the map is the first thing they worked on, then they added the bullshit to it. so that 87% is really a stupid guess on nothing meaningful. of course you can think what you want, but you see now how that number really doesn't mean anything but the absurd necessity of people to justify a early release date on the game. Well yeah, thinking of it now. That 87% could mean anything or nothing. And as you said, the game could actually be 100% complete, maybe Rockstar are just trying to get a release date. You made a good point on the map. Rockstar always tends to start developing the map first. It may not be 87% complete, but hopefully it's not far from that. LOL.
  18. Try 7 year-olds.... or 13 years olds that act like they are 7 years old. I'm 14 and personally I think a small slightly-regular update on progress (which they have given us) is good enough seeing as they have already given us they main information. If they where to release a whole bunch of information now without a sure release date for the game, they would be screwwed... but I guess that is a little too much for said "whining brats" to comprehend. I agree like the whole CREWS thingy. P:S I'm 14 too!!
  19. Not real info. A while ago I had thought about playing missions as flashbacks. As Ned Luke we'd drive around to locations and he'd remember things about that place such as the heist and then we'd play as either the guy in the blue car or even the red car. I'm not sure exactly how the flow would be but it would definitely be different. I'm still not entirely convinced Ned and the blue car guy are the same. I think to flow would be good. It's hard to decide if they are same guy. I'm going to say they are but maybe not. Agreed, the protagonist's age has never really been given away throught GTA. I only found out Niko's age because I was trying to turn him gay on Lovemeet.net.
  20. Exactly, I always loved entering the bu Trust me, I hope so to. I wouldn't mind some unserious parts in the story. I thought TBoGT story was a bit too supernatural, and I don't want unserious as in some guy getting murder by a gaint purple dildo or sufficating on a condom.

  22. Well it looks like I was right about the October release date.
