GTA V Second Trailer predictions
Rayge replied to LordSugarDaddy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I want to see either of these: 1. Revealing the character and his story 2. Revealing the city of Los Santos ( all the key areas) 3. Revealing the countryside and nautre -
Gang members (usually) don't become crack fiends. They just sell it to other people who become addicted. It's just business. And as I think you said, there will definitely be gangs in the ghettos (basically all of east LA), but those will be gangs like Surenos, Crips, Bloods (but the GTA versions) instead of the Mafia, Triads etc... which will be located in the west side, most likely in the rich areas of the town.

Possible nuclear test site or area 51
Rayge replied to Joint ops's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
LA is a lot bigger than the touristy side of it, with the beaches and beautiful scene. There is most likely a military base somewhere in the Californian desert, so it's not unreasonable. But Nuclear testing is a little over the top for such a populated area. -
Yeah if there are no witnesses, no stars should be gained. A little off topic, but if you kill someone ( and witnesses before the cops come) you should be able to "dispose" of the bodies, by dumping them, or burning them.

Obviously it's not real. It looks great, apart from the tree. Look at it. It looks like something out of SA. Was just wondering, because usually people know the source of where the photo came from.

Yes, it's obvious if you've played the game. The game was based on gang activity (at least in the begging and very end), which was most prominent in the late 80's and early 90's.

What game is that? Looks amazing. How come it says Sprunk? Is it modded GTA IV? or is that just a coincidence.

I think he means as mini-games, not as actualy 9-5s. If so, I agree they are fun to do sometimes. Like paramedic, firefighter and vigilante in the previous games. Maybe even picking up some mafia delivery jobs, or assassin jobs.

What are you looking for in GTA5?
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I like everything you said except weight lifting. i haaaaaated it in San Andreas because i wanted to actually play the story, but i kept having to waste my time at the gym cause i didn't wanna become a fatass after a few days.. Good idea, I want to be able to take hostages and rob them, or kidnap them and demand a ransom. Not at such a high scale, but just a few thousand $. I like the idea of holding people ransom, but that seems like a big side activity to put into gta.. id rather rob banks, stores, food places, people in the street/in cars. A ransom seems like it would be more than its worth.. explain what u had in mind? Like in Saint's Row, how you could jack car and if there were 2 people in it you could kidnap one and get some money to set them free. -
More commonly known as character customization.
-
/facepalm. I guess I need to explain fully. You will not be able to enter character creation. Character creation is when you create your character, as in customizing his race and facial features.Character Customization will most likely be in the game. This is things like tattoos, piercings, clothes, hairstyles, body shape. Not creation. That is just presuming GTA stays with a fixed protagonist, which I sincerely hope and believe.

There won't be "character creation" this is GTA not Saints Row.
-
That's just an old rumor.

Dafuq... You just contradicted yourself in your own sentence... How could it be Carl's son if Carl doesn't exist in this new GTA universe...?
-
I guess it would be fun to do sometimes, driving, massacring etc... But if it is included, it should be smooth and not as awkward as 3rd person was in Skyrim.

Go play GTAIV again, because this graphical damage is not in it. Of course it's not you imbecile because it's physical damage, graphical damage isn't terminology in the game world as all graphics are texture's. Since you think it's so easy to implement do it your self and send it to Rockstar, oh wait you can't because you don't realize that what you're asking for is a whole new physics engine and that can take years to create. The could possibly do it considering they had 5-6 years to make the game. Did Rockstar really start working on V in the middle of IV?
-
Not necessarily, it could be your average joe who goes to work in an office every day. Or it could be a washed up actor. It's LA, it could be anyone, as almost every type of person lives there, from filthy rich - homeless.
-
I really don't want to play as some super tough guy who can't lift his arms in the air because he is so bulky, like the guy in the trailer (Ned Luke) looks like. Niko was already a hard-military-man, so I doubt the next protagonist will be the same.
-
I wonder if he will be American or British. I was hoping for a game set in ancient Japan though, like when Shogun II is set.

AC III announced. http://www.facebook....19163067&type=3 It's really shitty that they are making AC annual, it totally ruins it because the games (Brotherhood/Revelations) become so rushed. However, from what I've seen it's been worked on for 3 years, which is fantastic because that means it will hopefully not take a mere 7 hours to complete... Setting looks pretty interesting, with the American Revolution.

I want to play as a hispanic guy from the ghetto, but I doubt that'll happen.

Yeah I liked being vigilante, but I don't want to play a cop at all. And as you said, maybe they could improve it to random mini-game missions as well, such as going to a police drug-bust, and choosing to help the cops or kill them and take the drugs and sell them. -
GTA is designed for third person, so that won't be a problem. And if they could incorporate the first person of games like CoD or battlefield it would be great, as those first person views run smooth and look quite realistic.
