The concrete building set is a bastard to put together. I'm trying to build thunderdome here and i'm stuck arsing around trying to make a corner work properly.

It's a shame we can't use Easy City Downs as a settlement, could have racing, deathmatches, blackjack and hookers all in one place. Just about to fire up the new DLC and see how disappointed I am.

"We've had word of ano-" "Get in the fucking deathclaw pit Preston and lock the door behind you!"

    Fallout

I'd throw Preston in against a few deathskull radscorpions for a laugh fo sho.
  5. I want to upgrade my Sabre but not with fucking hydraulics, it's not a lowrider - I feel the same about the Buccaneer to an extent. Definitely won't be getting the Minivan, I sold my Moonbeam not so long ago because I hated the sight of it.

The drop junk and scrap it glitch you mean? I thought everyone knew about that.

The fact the meter is generally half full before you begin building due to the shite already there is pretty bollocks. There should be an option to delete all props (and obviously place items in containers in the workshop.) And the build limit as i've said many times before could be two, even four times as much without getting fps drops like those encountered around the east of Boston.

It annoys me that you can't remove a lot more of the clutter from settlements, the ruined house on Spectacle is particularly annoying me at the moment. It's going to be fun travelling there in the new survival mode too.

I don't think you can have a direct back and forth supply line between two settlements: Red Rocket -> Sanctuary and Sanctuary -> Red Rocket etc. Its either one or the other, so one route regardless of the home and the destination should work both ways. But yes weapons and armour definitely aren't shared between connected settlements, only junk and certain aid items, I assume the ones that are produced by the settlements. Massy i've been doing that, robobrain treads make them move pretty fast across the wasteland. (Assuming you meant provisioners.)

That's why I killed her, she just stomped around Spectacle island berating me constantly whenever she walked past.

Having the robot companions with my stealthy character isn't really the best as they insist on standing next to you at all times and alerting the enemy. Even telling them to attack a distant enemy doesn't seem to work, they just sit there like twats doing nothing. I guess I could assign them to trade routes if I took the local leader perk.

I didn't give her any arms either, but at least gave her an assaultron body. She's dead now, got bored of her moaning at me.

Also I don't think you can make eyebots, unless i'm missing something. But it said I had unlocked all parts, I thought that's what the eyebot pod was for, but it isn't.

I built a bot with a robobrain head and torso and sentry legs but can't equip it with decent weaponry because I don't have the blacksmith or science perks. It's going to take a while to get that because I have to get her strength and intelligence up.

Yes, there are plenty of exploding robots throughout, especially at the end. Wish I had my explosive shotty from my previous guy. Oh and don't bother with the eyebot pod.
  16. I nearly cum when I saw the mod options for the Slamvan.

All my characters have only been one name, so perhaps that's why he didn't recognise Rachel. Companions are pretty terrible if you want to stealth properly, even Deacon who is the best at it still randomly wanders into gunfights inside buildings if I happen to creep up to a doorway, spot a few enemies and back up... he takes it as a sign that he should go barreling in. Micromanaging them by telling them to wait constantly is tiresome too.

It was a bit underwhelming that Codsworth is the only one who calls your character by their name, I think maybe Preston or the brotherhood would have too since you're more likely to speak to them. I don't know about anyone else but I always left Codsworth at Sanctury and never spoke to him.

I watched that vid soon after the game came out but never remembered the names, surprisingly all the names I chose were ones he said, except apparently Rachel my Institute gal. Odd that as Banner, Bailey and Anderson were on there.

The institute ending was more epic I think.

Where is that stated, somewhere in the Institute computers?

Yeah that was pretty much my brotherhood guy. It was quite refreshing but difficult at times. Not that 4 really gives you the option to talk your way out of combat, if it did he certainly wouldn't have.
  23. I picked up Syndicate last week for 19 quid and have to say its a pretty good game. I love London and the work they put into the architecture, the east end feels squalid and grotty as it should do and the west feels entirely different with better streetlamps and more greenery. I also like how they made the weather realistic and didn't just say "oh it's England therefore it's always raining." The story isn't bad, pretty much what you'd expect; Spoiler; templars die in this game.

Yeah I had the Nuclear Physicist perk for my Brotherhood guy, was pretty fun just blasting into combat with my jetpack and explosive combat shotty taking out half the group before I hit the floor. Made me feel like Boba Fett. But still, i'm not keen on the cores for T-51 upwards.
