After yesterday's round of games, I note with interest that Danny Haren has a 5-1 record, with a 2.84 ERA. Now why in the fuck couldn't he have done something similar for the Nats last year...

The NL East...something of a black-and-blue division. As mentioned before, I sort of follow the Nats, as in a check-the-box-score-every-day-and-watch-when-i-actually-get-a-chance-to way. This is crazy though. Up and down that division like some kind of fucked-up hitparade. Got to take some more games off those pesky Braves though. And get everyone off the damn DL before long.

The funny thing about all of this is reading R*'s official piece on the newswire, and seeing everyone bitching about it in the comments below. Honestly, no pleasing some people. To this point, every update has been FREE, and looking at the comments of those who clearly have a high sense of entitlement about it is wholly amusing.

Nats. After playing as them in MLB 13: The Show last year, I've decided to adopt them as my team. I'll watch anyone play though. Watched the White Sox play Minnesota yesterday. As a brief aside and coincidence, maybe I should point out that I write a music-oriented blog on tumblr entitled Enigmatic Shenanigans, go look for it if you want. Good to play again for the first time in weeks, despite being completely shit. It was a bit embarrassing actually. But at least there were no griefing idiots this time. I won't be around for the next three weeks as my first love and main passion - live music events - takes me to London and Bristol. So gtagrl will probably be last again, unless yesterday's performance signalled a change in fortunes.
