huh?? i thought it wasn't until later in the afternoon... i didn't click the link, i figured it was just a link to the AC main website, and i am at work... i guess i was wrong... here's the trailer already... doesn't show too much, but sets the time period quite well...

^^too bad... i loved SR3... i finished the civil war questline, i am a proud officer of the stormcloak army, the army of freedom... basically all i have left to do on this file is find all the daedric artifacts, of which i have only found 5 or so... i started about 4 quests last night though, so once i find all the artifacts and finish the companion quests, i should finally be level 50, and perhaps i will find a couple more new shouts for the "learn 20 shouts" trophy... basically after i do all of that, all i will have left for trophies are the "pick 50 locks and pickpocket 50" one, and the thieves guild and dark brotherhood ones... i am getting a platinum for this game, it totally deserves one...

today is the debut trailer for those that need to know... it's late in the afternoon though, which is kind of strange...

i loved the landscape but hated trekking through it ... i don't know how many times i had to climb back down a mountain because i couldn't find the path that led to the location i was trying to get to up top... scaling down the cliff was no problem of course... i am currently in the process of moving everything i own from whiterun to windhelm, on trip 10 or 12 i think... the future high king offered me a place to stay, and i love the open space of the place compared to the cramped confines of the breezehome... plus, there's a huge room with mannequins and display cases for weapons... i could put some of my best gear on display, or the weapons and armor i had the most memories with... and i love the hidden room in the back that houses an alchemy lab and arcane enchanter ... EDIT: well that sucks... dragonbane is missing... i believe i put him in the center of the weapons rack upstairs... ehh, that weapon was always kinda glitchy with the display cases and plaques... go figure... ohh well, i never used it but i liked it's uniqueness..

ahhh.... shit's been happening a lot lately... over the course of a year, i've heard of about 6 systems doing that, a few from here and a few of my friends... i pray mine hangs in there... was it one of the old phat PS3s?? that's the system bricking at the moment...

colonial america... a completely different architectural style... this new generation of III could spawn numerous states in the south too like alabama and mississippi... dare i say racial slang and slave ownership?? sacajawea?? how about the louisiana purchase, where we bought the midwest from the french with their debts and our coin, which led to the eventual great trail of tears... all with the templars at the forefront of the conflict of course... washington the great war general, and jefferson the free mason... where does III take it from there?!?!

haha, nice... plus, even though the invaders are taking their land, they are at peace at the moment...i can foresee some sticky situations in either the latter part of this game, or in future installments... we loved them until we wanted to expand an take their wilderness... i love the native american perspective to be honest... name a game that does the same?? exactly, RDR recently, but not much else...

a lot of that had to do with being locked on to targets in combat... while the combat system was awesome in 1 and 2, it started to wear thin and became clunky as the years passed...i like that there isn't an auto lock system either, i will miss it for taking out roof units, but i wont miss it for CQC... i am sure the tomahawks, pistols and rifles work well for long distance.. i like how we live through his life, just like we did in ACII, becoming the legendary ezio auditore da firenze... now we get to become the legendary... ummm... uhhh, ra-ratohnhake:ton-something.... looking forward to it...

holy fuck sticks!! here's a tidbit of info from the leaked game informer cover story... http://www.g4tv.com/...k-28-fbfantrack this sounds like a whole new approach to the game, taking place in new york and boston... and a "bigger than brotherhood" wilderness to explore, because massacre was right, he's half-half... he can hide in trees, hunting for pelts or unsuspecting enemies... he's in the thick or numerous historical events like the new york fire and probably the boston tea party stuff too... this all sounds fucking sweet to me ... i do love this era of american history, it's one of the most interesting...

that hatchet also resembles the assassin's seal ...

i hear that... that was a good breakdown actually.. that's fucking brilliant...

ahh good point about the indian vision stuff... i wasn't even saying he had to be european though, just that maybe a generation or two back, someone from the bloodline immigrated to america and settled in here... he might speak like an american, but who is very spiritual and hangs with indians... however, playing as an indian right after the formation of the united states would represent a fresh perspective on the era... that's why i liked the saboteur... it offered a fresh look on WW2, as an irishmen helping the french resistance oust the nazis from paris...
-
not for me... i started to get bored playing revelations, because it felt like brotherhood, which felt like ACII, and started to become a chore after i unlocked the dens... i am glad that there's been a 3 year development cycle... they claim the game was built from the ground up, which hopefully can bring us new gameplay... i am pretty sure there's going to be a bit of a 3rd person shooter element added, which could be a great change of pace to the usual sneak-kill-sneak-divert-hide... there might be a few sequences where you've just got to shoot your way out... i wonder if he's going to be native american though... i am not sold on that yet, but it's possible... maybe ezio's kid mixes it up with one... or they could just be a part of the immigration boon of the era, and came over and lived in the colonies for a couple generations... the assassins creed could of disappeared for a few generations while the templars regrouped in america... or the ezio family could still be running things in masyaf while children flock around the globe, possibly setting up other assassin stories to tell...
-
they said they've built it from the ground up, so it might feel quite different... i hope it isn't that different, but i am glad that there will be changes... i am stoked, it's what i predicted, and i can't wait to dive into the great american conspiracy!! EDIT: ha, i also won another prediction... that we'd hear about ACIII before we heard anything new on GTAV...
