mjoll is just as deadly with the bow n arrow as she is with a war hammer... i never had the privilege to hang with aela yet... when i wrapped up the companion quests, i stopped playing that character... but i would imagine that she'd be good at tearing up enemies, as well as in bed...

us system folks gotta wait a while for that patch ...

yea, the fallout mods were the same... lots of horny gamers making naked mods, or skimpy outfits...

probably not... i even consider shouts to be magical, and those are key to the main story... but i guess using weapons with enchantments could get past actual magic, however, isn't that magical shit too?? face it, it's an RPG, magic will take place...

that's how you role play you twat... man, we've been at it for a few posts now, lol... i'm sorry, i love you... let's have makeup sex... @vice - i got caught up in that mine quest from markarth early on in my first game when i decided to challenge this guy to a drinking game in whiterun... i woke up in markarth and got thrown right in the middle of that prison quest... i literally couldn't leave until i got to the bottom of that quest... well, maybe i could, but i was thrown right into the plot as soon as i left the shrine... does the sanguine rose quest always end up in markarth?? because i heard it can start in any bar in skyrim...

haha, tool... i did do all the daedric artifact quests, but i always claimed (in my head) that my character was under the influence of the daedra, i was like a puppet being controlled by the forces from oblivion... but i have been trophy hunting, and all i have left are the thieves guild and dark brotherhood quests and i will have my platinum trophy... i am actually really getting into pickpocketing with this character, and i can't wait to take over those two guilds ... now, where's the talk about the DLC?!? i am getting close to having nothing to play for ...

no, being a thief and a member of the dark brotherhood didn't fit in with my noble warrior who saved skyrim... that's why i created a new character, someone who would fit in that kind of lifestyle... god dammit, this is a role playing game, i play roles... my last character wasn't a sneak-thief... as a matter of fact, my last character didn't do hardly any missions in riften because they went against his beliefs... the only ones he did were the ones that helped out the poor folks who were being preyed on by the thieves...

looking forward to doing the brotherhood quests... sounds fun...

it's not been an issue for me... the only hassle is how long it takes to save... but i am a patient person so it doesn't bother me... nope, i can only recall maybe a half a dozen freezes in the entire 275 hours i spent on my last character... compare that to the possible hundred freezes in fallout new vegas and this game is by far more stable...

yea, i still have auto save turned on... i figured it would be faster if i just walked slowly for a about 10 seconds, then did the sprint, rinse and repeat... thanks for the tip though, i never thought about trying that while over-encumbered...

i know what you meant, but it's much quicker to just wait a few seconds for the shout to restore... god you guys are both dumb... it takes like 5-10 seconds to use the wait function on the PS3...

or just wait a few seconds for the shout to come back into use... that one doesn't take long either, at least, before you learn additional words for it...

..but they don't waste magic, for those of us with limited abilities in that department... i wish i knew that whirlwind sprint trick last night when i hauled 400 lbs of shit back to whiterun... it took about 15 minutes to walk it, could of cut that time in half, lol...

yea, i don't think i tried any of those, lol... when the greybeards told me of previous dragonborns who abused their powers, i realized that i should be that kind of character this time... i am gonna abuse the dragon shouts...

the fastest way is to sneak around a room full of enemies for a few minutes... and then finishing them off with arrows form the shadows... the shout i did use a few times outside of the unrelenting force was the one that lit all the enemies on fire...

yea, i haven't been able to put the controller down on my second file... i am having a blast being a sneak thief... it's refreshing to play through the game knowing what the world is about this time around... my first character was completely clueless of the world of tamriel and the nord traditions, and the conflicts of the world... i seriously didn't even realize i was riding with ulfred stormcloak in the opening scene the first time, lol... anyways, the last thing i did last night was steal an unusual gem, which should lead me to riften and the thieves guild... that's where i will become the character i want her to be... but as of now, she's just a petty thief and skilled archer who just learned that she is dragonborn and now has shout powers, which i am actually going to use this time around... i rarely used them with my first character...

yup, i figured i would miss this... time to fire up skyrim now that i am home ..

i like fallout more too, but i still had a blast playing this game... and speaking of which, here's the final numbers on my file... the total hours for my level 50 breton warrior reached 271 hours... my most extensive fallout new vegas file, including playing through all the DLC's, clocked in at 253 hours... damn this game is huge, and there's still probably a few dozen locations i have yet to find or explore... and probably a good dozen or more major quests... i also started my new character last night, i created a female wood elf assassin named, "Alionna"... so far i am off to a great start, sneak killing with the bow and sword, and working on smithing and speech... i just reached whiterun with a dragon tablet... after that, i am heading to riften to join the thieves guild... and since i have to wait all damn day for the appliances to be delivered, i am up already so i might as well pick up where i left off last night... ohh goodie ...

the freezer is 2 something, and the fridge is 12 something... i love how this topic turned into an appliance discussion ...

you should see my kitchen, i ordered probably the smallest full sized fridge on the market... it's 14.4 cubic feet of space, who knows what that is in metrics, but i have a small kitchen, so i have small appliances...
