    having a distraction like ED-E helped, right? bonnie springs is ridicously hard at an early level... i was there at 5 one time solo... i failed a few times, but once i figured out the hiding spots, i barely made it through... sold the gear in that basement and bought some as well... the love and hate knuckles are there, one of the best weapons to have on you at all times, even if you didn't focus on unarmed combat... it still packed a punch without skill, it's extremely lightweight, and a great holdout weapon due to it's silence... well worth the fight in that dusty little town IMO...

    that doesn't mean it's available when you pre-order, it means it's available when you make the purchase... i re-read the website, i do think it's only available the day of release since it also states online pre-orders will have the poster shipped with their order... if it was "first come first serve" right now, they wouldn't be shipping them with your order, they'd say in-store only, just like the poster you get with the game...

    not sure... a guy on facebook said his local gamestop didn't know what he was talking about... hopefully someone else tries to get it too so we can know for sure because their website says, "while supplies last" so i would assume they have them in store at the moment...

    i watched the departed a few days ago for the 3rd time overall i think... it's a brilliant film, the pacing is a little quick at times, but it's only to keep the story moving... definitely one of mark wahlberg's best roles IMO... i saw the last stand last night, and it was more entertaining than i thought it would be... ahhhnoollddd plays an old small town sheriff that is about to have a mafia try to take over his town by the border to help escort a drug kingpin into mexico who is currently driving an extremely fast stolen car from vegas... he obviously has to make a stand, it's got it's moments ...

    don't sleep on the bears, every time people do, they tear them apart... the o-line is 10x better than it was in the past few years, and the defense isn't going to miss much of a beat without brian... it's still the same D and scheme that played hard when brian was out with injuries...

    i was thinking of taking a hiatus after the next match anyways... the more we do in a short period of time, the less people that show up for them... i think one more should be good for about a month... then when we get closer to V we could think about doing weekly ones ...

    unbelievable!! this really really looks good, and every time i see new stuff, i am surprised at how true it looks and feels... this really feels like a pirate game to me... and seeing this latest video really adds to that for me... they did find a way to fit the assassin style into the era of piracy... i was a little worried, but the platforming appears to still be there, and with more combat options this time around...

    AGENT NEWS!!! ... well, kinda... http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/23/rockstar-renews-agent-trademarks rockstar renewed the game's trademarks, which means to me that it's still in production... the funny thing i gathered from the article was AGENT was suppose to be a PS3 exclusive, but with next gen on the way, it's a very real possibility that it will be their first launch for the next gen... and probably for both systems too... that last part makes sense to me, because of how long it's been since announcement, the costs are probably escalating and we could see a LA Noire thing where to make some of that back, they're going to have to go multiplat...

    (oops, forgot to check the replies in this topic) ^^i'm sure it does ... @dup - i was thinking of turning the police off, but actually, if we got to the point where we freeroam, we could always re-launch the game under the new rules... because while its fun to blow shit up, it gets boring real quick having to kill a hundred cops, only to die and repeat the same thing... i think it'd be more fun for freeroam to coordinate things without having the police ruin it every time... next week?? i'll set up the topic in the coming days if there's enough interest...

    verlander's been inconsistent all year, unless you're saying he's had a tight quad all year ... it's the offense that's off to a slow start to start the 2nd half of the season... that shouldn't happen with our lineup... losing 1-0 against the royals is a bad sign...
