  1. Yes, I quick saved just outside the club in case anything went wrong and I'm keeping that save should i want to try it again.
  2. So here's the video showing how to stay in Tequi-la-la after the Vinewood Souvenir - Willie mission. It's unedited, so it's not all that great. The top floors play songs from Channel X, whereas the pool room in the basement plays songs from Radio Mirror Park. For some reason the PS4 doesn't record music, so there isn't any in the video. I actually didn't hear a lot of the dialogue while playing which is kind of why I didn't realize some asshole was about to call the cops.
  3. I remember Massacre posted about how npc's would spawn inside Tequi-la-la, despite the fact it was only accessible in that one mission, so I decided to check it out for myself. Here are some pics I snapped inside: People hanging out and dancing Trevor gets a stage selfie Most people left after Trevor began to sing They headed to the pool room in the basement I'll post a video in the other topic.
  4. I was happy to meet many of you fine Playstation folk, over the weekend. Though I've been having issues connecting with other players since yesterday's patch, I accepted 2 invites from Mercy and kept on getting "unable to connect to current session" then I'd get dropped in a public lobby on my own. I tried joining Mercy and Ghost from the home screen and it said the session was full. Did you play in a 30 player lobby? How was it?
  5. For those playing story mode on the ps4, don't bother purchasing the rail gun. It costs too much and spawns in the wreckage of the merryweather cargo plane after minor turbulence. Fair warning, that mission in 1st person can be really disorienting. Driving tha Mesa out of that plane was awesome but I had to stop playing for a while and throw up.
  6. I had a lot of fun with the peyote spirit animal stuff last night. I tried to take on a mountain lion as a pug and my little drug trip ended rather abruptly after that. Took several shits on people as various birds.. Kind of wish there were all animal deathmatches now.
  7. I transferred my characters last night, without any problems. Couldn't find anyone by using the join crew option though. I'll start friending you guys when I get home from work. My PSN name is KEK540, please accept my digital friendship. I'll try to get a new headset too since the one that came with the ps4 should have stayed in the early 2000's where it belongs.
  8. Has anyone actually transferred their character yet? I've had the game since Sunday but I've spent all my time in story mode, worried that I might lose something in the transfer.
  9. I blazed through the story pretty quickly. The only side content I liked was the murder mysteries. They're kind of like a really watered down version of LA noir. The only problem is that to start them you'll need to actually find the victims' bodies which isn't easy since the map is huge. The assassinations are really fun, and plentiful, but yet I still want more. Overall it's fun and pretty, and i never ran into any game breaking bugs other than the known frame rate and pop-up issues.
  10. I want to 100% the story mode again anyway, so I'll stay away from online for the first couple of days.
  11. Some of those screens are definitely new, plus the wingsuit stuff sounds awesome.
  12. saw some more next-gen streams of people playing online. The guy playing said that everything he owned had transferred over except he lost all his cars. He had his safehouses, weapons, and all his money but none of his cars transferred. I think I'll hold off on playing online for the first few days after I pick it up, or sell all my cars.
  13. Damn! What have I been missing all this time playing on the Xbox? I'm with you all the way Captain, let's wreck those lesser crews!
  14. It would be cool to play with some you guys on PS4, Fridays would work best for me. The UK is only a 3 hour time difference but playing with you guys in the States and Canada would be really difficult with the time difference. The only time I've ever managed to play with some of the igta members on the 360 was when i really should have been asleep.
  15. Mad Max is still coming. Avalanche started a studio in New York to work on JC3 3 years ago, while the main office in Sweden(?) started on Mad Max. This is where i read about Mad Max still being developed http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-11-11-just-cause-3-has-finally-been-officially-announced

    Just Cause

Just Cause 3 was officially announced today with more info coming throughout the month by Game Informer. They put together a video with some screenshots of some of the madness we've come to know from the series. This time it will be set in a fictional archipelago in the Mediterranean and it should come out at some point next year according to Gamestop I've always enjoyed the Just Cause games and I'm really looking forward to what they have in store for us.
  17. I'm more excited about 1st person submarine adventures. I really hope the Kraken is faster than the old sub.
  18. Yup you could definitely ride trains in story mode, but just like the real LA, everyone just drives. Never really tried it online, but it's not a very practical way of getting around.
  19. Yeah I'm worried how my characters will look after I transfer them. Right now they look like random pedestrians from GTA III. I was also wondering about something that has been bothering me for a while in story mode. In the vanilla version of GTA V, there was a repeatable side mission where we'd be able to raid the weed plantation at Braddock Farms. Initially you could do it every week (in game) and make anything from a couple thousand to a 100k. In one of the early patches for GTA Online it became a one time thing per play-through. I really hope it'll be back the way it was on next-gen since that was always a quick and easy way to make money.
  20. I just spent the last hour listening to the guys from gta v o' clock prattle on and on about updated visuals and stuff we mostly already knew, but they did say you can view cut scenes in first person which sounds cool. They also peppered the video with some of the new songs and they are: Pat Benatar - Shadows of the Night, Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy, and finally Backstreet Boys - I want it that way (lol). Other than that don't bother with GTA V o'clock.
  21. Apparently, you could adjust the controls so that they feel like an FPS. Meaning you'll sprint using the L3 and as we saw in the gameplay footage; throw a grenade without switching your weapon! It's like Far Cry meets GTA, which funny enough they're being released at the same time.
  22. Speaking of walls and text, anybody notice this? Was this in the main game, or could this be related to the new mystery murder side missions. I also noticed that the Stallion is back from the stock car racing image.

    Triad Wars

I'll pass on this one, I'm not a huge fan of p2p games. Not a very competitive person. Though I'll definitely buy the remastered version of the original and hope they give us a sequel or even a prequel set in San Francisco.
  24. Okay good, so it's not just me then.
  25. I check for a new unannounced GTA V DLC update every Tuesday, but if there's nothing new I'll get give the watch dogs DLC a go. I like the idea of playing as T-Bone since he wasn't a complete douche like Peirce.
