Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

windhelm has a weird layout, i own a house there so i had to get used to the streets... they're probably the worse in the game, shops scattered about ... at least there's sort of a general market outdoors...

That's one of the best houses in the game.

secret room FTW :D... plus plenty of statues and cases to display all your prized possessions...

Yes that was sort of cool. First game I solved the secret. Haven't gotten there on new game.

Have you built your own house yet? It makes the game even more addictive.

I just crafted my first Daedric Warhammer on the new game, it really ups the 2 handed skill.

There is something just, special, about using the combination of the Sanguine Rose,

Secret Servant, Secret of Arcana, and Mora's Boon........against the Thalmor.

Elder Scrolls Online will become subscription free in March, so the console release this year will be free to play after the initial cost of buying it.

I was always planning on getting it on PS4, so this might work out in my favour as long as the microtransaction aren't game breaking. Subsciptions are only worth while if you have time to play all month, and spare time isn't something I have a lot of these days unfortunately.

what's the console launch date for this? i might consider raiding caves with ya, dup… i don't mind micro transactions as long as i can justify spending a little money for it… if in the end, i end up spending like $30 for a full experience, it sounds like a good deal… but if in the end, i end up spending well over $100 on transactions, then not so much...

i like the concept of free-to-play, but i fear where they get you is in the micro transactions… keep us posted on this...

Yeah true tbh.

What does bug me, is these triple a titles that now call themselves free-to-play when we still have to buy the game, the cheek of it. Fucking pyramid scheming fucks.

Just finished my Nord Stormcloak character. Ongoing arcs are the thieves guild, dark brotherhood, and companions....

Guy tore up everything ending at Level 81 all skills maxed at 100.

Ulfric totally happy with me as his thane and main man.

But, buggiest game ever.

4 side quests could not be completed, no problem.

Miraak could not be killed (Used all resources to no avail) no problem.

Could not buy the best house in the game in Windhelm due to no murder investigation quest - no problem.

Uh, what else....second play through did pretty fucking well, and didn't take 5 years like Massacre said.

But in some ways I wished it had. This was a great play through, and Michal pretty much dominated.

Also he ended up with over $200,000 and each house with a basement is loaded with the various lockers of jewels.

Plus as a Nord, you get the Markarth house as Thane.

In the end, he's Thane of all holds, and Head of Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and The Companions.

Now it's just about riding around on Shadowmere looking like the character from the game trailer......doing unending arcs.

After checking the Wiki it seems that I did all the side missions, except the ones that are bugged.
The only one left is the archer practice up on the hill at Angi's place, which will reward with her bow.

Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to take on the Stormcloak character, because I exhausted every resource.

This guy tore it up, got rich, and took an arrow to the knee.

His name is Bjarik...he's blond, heavily muscled, with a huge handlebar mustache. He likes enchanted axes and long walks in the snow. He's currently single, but has his own Amulet of Mara for when the right creature comes along. If you're interested in going dragon hunting, cave clearing or just stocking up on nirnroot and luna moth wings, dispatch a messenger to Hjerim in Windhelm!

Currently he's this close to leveling up to 31. (I forgot how long it takes to level up, my Khajiit is leveled up so high this felt like a grind at first, but his abilities are turning the corner now.) Perks are focused on heavy armour, two-handed, one-handed, block, archery, smithing, lockpicking, speech and sneaking. He's not as averse to magic as most Nords, but still prefers to let an axe blade or arrowhead do the talking. He wears full steel armour when travelling, but switches to a Stormcloak cuirass and a pretty sapphire circlet whenever he's in a friendly town. That said, the other day he was wandering around in nothing but the circlet and a loincloth--the guy is ripped!--and boy oh boy, the comments from NPCs are hilarious.

Since my Khajiit pretty much played through all the sneaky/assassin storylines but remained politically neutral, I'm doing different things with him; we blasted through the Stormcloak storyline and completed it first. He's joined The Companions and I think he may go werewolf eventually. He is close to being accepted into the Thieves' Guild, but I don't see him being much of an assassin, so he'll probably destroy the Dark Brotherhood. I also haven't completed the Dragonborn storyline all the way through, so once he's leveled up a bit more, I'll take him mountain climbing and we'll pursue that further. He's spent a bit of time at the College of Winterhold and accepted an invite to the Bards College but hasn't gone much further than that yet. There's still a lot of the map to uncover, too.

Yup.

If you have a high quality PC, the right graphics mods basically bring Skyrim up to next gen quality. There are a lot of mods that improve combat and other things about the game that aren't quite ideal.

I used my 3 or 4 years worth of GAME loyalty card points today to take a large chunk of the price of ESO (PS4) today. I'm now sorted until November, what with Witcher 3 and GTAO along with ESO now...

As a PC player, I'm not that excited about the Skyrim remaster. My game looked better than that, four years ago.

Now, if they want to create some new adventures for the Dragonborn...

i have a character i abandoned out of boredom, because he was my 3rd or 4th build... but with the remaster, i will fullfill my redguard necro-warrior's story, and help the imperials take back skyrim... i will finally create my armored magical warrior, i will blend both worlds of my TES world... magic and might...

and please fucking tell me the macho man dragon mod will be on consoles!!!...
