Just read through the first few pages of this, out of nostalgia. Every gripe I had two and a half years ago is still 100% valid. Especially this:

I don't see what the point would be in selling modded cars, when they can spawn money bags with a single button press. Seems like that would be less about making money and more about taking money from other players, which modders can also do easily.

I honestly have no idea. I haven't been back since I finished the quest. I guess that would be a decent place to make BoS, but I'm not a big fan of the place being 100% indoors. I like the wasteland too much.

Bah. Fucking fusion generator requires level 4 of the Science perk. Only my Institute character comes close to that, and he doesn't care enough about humanity to bother with settlements.

I'm hoping I can make settlers fight until one is downed, but not dead. I think the Minutemen could do with a voluntary, no-kill fight club to toughen themselves up.

PSA: The 2GB update for "trophy support" was Wasteland Workshop. The DLC, a 50MB download to unlock the content, is available now. Praise Atom's light.

Hangman's Alley seemed like the only good place for the Brotherhood to set up an outpost. I had intended to build a vertical town that filled the entire alley up to the rooftops, with a private shack for myself up top. Without roof access, it loses its strategic value, since two barricades and a well-placed molotov would cook everything at ground level, in there. Red Rocket, I've never done much with. I prefer to leave it as a private refuge without much change. Now, my Minutemen character has Local Leader, and can actually do things with settlements that are worthwhile. Every settlement that signs on with the Minutemen will be safe, supplied, and a major trade hub, no matter how big or how small. Spectacle Island will be a challenge. -------------------------- I forgot the Playstation store updates in the afternoon. No Wasteland Workshop for me until Wednesday morning. Fuck second shift.

The height limit of settlements makes me wonder if there's even any point in trying to do anything with Hangman's Alley. If I can't build a dense, vertical, Brotherhood-run settlement that's high enough to keep an eye on Diamond City and C.I.T., what's the point? Shame. It's the only place that seemed like it would be a decent Brotherhood outpost.

FTWD's premiere was better than TWD's finale. That shot of LA is going to be my new wallpaper.

Shame this one won't have a short-but-solid story, like Automatron. Unless settlements are being invaded and rearranged by well-meaning but style-challenged Mr. Handy swarms. Some of the locations in the trailer seemed new, for settlements. Maybe I'm finally getting my cabin in the dead, irradiated woods?

Yep. That guy's ready to move out and set up shop anywhere, at a moment's notice. It's like he's some sort of... minuteman.

You can send Preston to any settlement. I think you can even send him elsewhere after you take back the Castle. I'm not sure if he still gives you quests when you have him as a companion, because I've never used him. Even as a Minuteman, Dogmeat just makes more sense.

In a display of great impatience, I'm roleplaying a Survival mode game for my Minutemen playthrough. Pretty sure I'm putting harsher restrictions on myself than the actual Survival mode will, if New Vegas' hardcore mode is any indication.

There's a major death. I will be pissed, if they deviate from the comics on this one. Especially given how the last episode ended.

I tried to do a mission in a mall yesterday morning, and there was no floor. I fell through and kept respawning until I finally gave up and left the game. I have nothing further to say, right now.

The only way they're getting more money from me for a lowrider is if they release the Lost version of the Slamvan, with the covered bed. Considered buying a Donk, just so I could use off-road tires and Mad Max the thing, but it couldn't possibly be faster or handle better than my Brawler.
