Is anyone other than me playing Fallout 4 on PC? It's nice you guys are getting access to some mods. I'm a little curious to see how the comparability will work. There are quite a few nice ones out there as well as a companion infinite ammo and another where the power armor they wear won't break. Until then here is a link to some Fallout 4 PC pics with some mods included http://imgur.com/a/9vOO9.

I'm on PC but I don't own F4. Still fucking around with NV.

Mods for consoles are a cool idea, but there are some teething problems with the One. Quite a few mod authors saying they've had their work stolen and posted to Bethesda.net, and we can't forget the legion of entitled children who harass and abuse mod authors because they can't understand that a lot of mods on PC simply aren't compatible with consoles. Cool idea, hopefully it'll be smoothed out by the time PS4 is released.

i really hope this is a new boss enemy and not a statue...

I'd be pretty confident it's an enemy of sorts.

I think I'm going to have to restart NV as I forgot to install all the cut content mods. :(

  3. Honest Hearts at level 10 may have been a mistake. I've got a solid 100 pounds of food and water (plus the abundant clean drinking water in Zion) but I'm running low on .357 ammo, which both my guns require. Didn't occur to me that cowboys don't really exist in Zion, so .357 rounds are scarce. Currently scrounging for .45 rounds so I can use the auto-pistol, otherwise I'm gonna be hitting everything with a machete. Really should have gone into this with more than 200 rounds.

  4. Who knew hacking people apart with a machete was so fun in NV? I have to admit, hardcore mode isn't hardcore enough for me. I currently eat and drink once a day and sleep every 3. I was hoping for it to be more oppressive.

  5. You can sort of guess from what they've priced everything at. Based on what they did with Skyrim I'd assume there'll be another reasonably sized story DLC. Hazzar! I'm contributing to a F4 discussion.

  6. I just noticed in the release it said "more than $60 worth of DLC". Not sure if that means another $60 worth is coming, or it's $60 worth including these 3. If it includes these three it leaves about $20 worth of DLC left to come. (basing this on more than $60 meaning less than $70)

  7. They've said there's more to come, and given they're raising the price I'd be pretty confident this won't be the only DLC. The Pitt and Point Lookout were the best things about Fallout 3, so I'd expect the DLC to be decent at worst.

  8. dam, Far harbour is almost the same price AS the season pass

Don't worry man, they really want to repay your loyalty. That's why they're increasing the season pass price. Who wouldn't want to pay for a robot DLC when a mod already does most of it?

  9. My buddy is an excellent troll. He shares my view on Fallout (1, 2 and NV are amazing. Fuck 3 and 4) so when he was in Washington, D.C. he got me a New Vegas style snow globe... from D.C. Well played, sir. post-66-0-06373900-1455631708_thumb.jpg

Also that red mark is the reflection from my TV. I'm watching Frasier.

  10. lmfao god dam dude, I've bin there

One thing I look forward to seeing is how mods are implemented for fallout 4 on console. How many come out and how stable the game will be. Hopefully they will be enough to keep me going so I dont have to get the PC version, and not have to fuck around with a mod manager.

I finally got it working again. Calamity Jane is up and running! Yeah I have no idea how mods will work on console. Don't think it's ever been done before?

Apparently Bethesda are planning to release a patch which will include hardcore mode for 4. Shouldn't the game have come with that?

  11. Starting a NV Hardcore mode game. I was going to only use a machete, but I realised the Sierra Madre is going to be all kinds of hell as it is. Taking out the radios with a machete is near impossible. Figure I'll play female and use cowboy weapons, so Cass will likely be with me a lot. Main issue I'll face is a lack of .357/.44 magnum rounds, and as bullets have weight I can't just keep a bunch of backup ammo with me. Looking forward to punching Caesar in the face again. Never gets old.

Edit: Well, forget that. Nexus Mod Manager updated, which has completely fucked my mods, so I will instead spend the evening enabling mods one at a time to see what is causing it to crash. Lucky I have this bottle of rum for company.

Edit 2: Seems to be an issue with my weapon modification mods. Fuck this, time to hack off some limbs in Postal 2.

This could be interesting. Still in Alpha, but the option to wander around with a friend or two sounds like it could be fun. No idea how it'll work in practice, though. Quests in particular could be an issue. It's promising it isn't going to be an MMO mod, so that's something. Nothing kills immersion in a game like 50 other idiots doing the same quest at the same time. I think there's one for Fallout 3 as well, but I can't see the appeal. Well, I guess having a friend with me would give me someone to complain to.

Edit: Just remembered most of you aren't PC gamers so I'm not sure what the point of this post is.

  13. I'd assume it's the same person. You said "Randy Savage fetish" like it's a bad thing. I can't believe anyone doesn't like the Macho Man. I'm not sure what a Slim Jim is, but I know I want one. OHHHH YEEEAAAH!

  14. I was going to say that you need to speak to her doctors, without her knowledge. She'll have her reasons for not telling you, but you also need to know what's happening. Indy fucked all that up by reminding me of doctor/patient confidentiality. So, for your own mental health you need to gently pressure her to tell you what's happening. If she still doesn't....I'm sorry, man. People need to deal with awful situations in their own way, and that often isn't a logical or conventional way. Hope she recovers soon.
