  1. Had toad in the hole tonight, with gravy and fried potatoes. Nice bit of stodge for an autumn night
  2. Ok thanks, should probably add that I'm not a subscriber...just wondering when the info will be scanned and uploaded
  3. May be a bit of a stupid question, but will the online subscribers to GI get the info at the start of November? An exact date would be nice
  4. Haha 'Anna Rex' Didn't even notice the humour till the underwear picture was posted
  5. I think the second trailer will come first and then the GI issue will give us a few more details, maybe tell us how the game is progressing etc. Exciting stuff, nonetheless.
  6. Hmm yeah you're probably right, ours are quite soft
  7. We get them in England, but all year round. They're called chocolate teacakes
  8. Ooft the E46 330 sounds nice, always wanted a BMW but whenever I cruise up a hill in winter past all the BM drivers I change my mind an S4 would be really nice as well but as you mentioned, it's a no go for daily commuting really. The other good thing about new cars is the way they've managed to consistently reduce the size of the engines while creating more horsepower and increasing MPG...but they all just feel a bit too safe if you know what I mean. I also wouldn't mind the old Audio Quattro with the black rings on the side, think it was in Ashes to Ashes? (too young to remember) either way it's a beauty!
  9. I once splashed Tabasco in a kids eye in year 10, everyone was freaking out saying that I had hit him (thinking it was blood) It was a sizeable amount of Tabasco, and the teachers were not happy
  10. It'd had been done at 80,000 miles! I wasn't moving either, I turned the ignition off and then 5 minutes later it wouldn't turn on again. I think it was just bad luck to be honest . I love cars I just wish I could afford a new one, purely for the reason you get a warranty and the plus of having a nice new car. The thing is I actually hate new cars and would much rather have an old VW. At the minute I can't really afford to get a car and keep it running (even a second hand one) so it's back to public transport for as long as I can bear it! What sort of cars are you into Duffman? Or is just an A to B (as fast as possible) kinda thing?
  11. My Mk4 GTI is costing me a small fortune in minor repairs-that-will-turn-into-major-ones-if-they-don't-get-done. I don't even plan on keeping it that long, it's slow as fuck. What happened to yours? A lot of problems have cropped up since I had mine. This recent one (and final one) though was due to the cambelt snapping and in turn ruining the head? (not too sure on a lot of car technical stuff) which would have meant a £500 bill. It's a sad day as I happen to love VW cars
  12. My dream car is a mint condition MK1 Golf GTI. My MK4 Golf made it's way to the scrap yard yesterday
  13. I normally go straight into the missions and let the environment unfold itself to me that way. It would be cool to grab a bi-plane and explore the map a little bit as well
  14. Ah for some reason I got the wrong end of what you meant. I agree it seemed like a decent seperate topic but...what can you do : / I don't want to suck anyone today Thanks to QD's guidance I now object to this merge too!
  15. Thanks Marney And shutup you, there'll be no objection to this merger
  16. Topic title says it all Here are a few pictures of my city. Two of them were taken at the Lumiere light festival where the city is lit up by international artists, it's amazing. They also had a giant snowglobe constructed around the main statue in the centre of the city with 'I love Durham' And home to the world famous Durham Cathedral http://en.wikipedia....urham_Cathedral (where parts of Harry Potter were filmed)
  17. http://www.accommodation-durham.com/page/menu_at_the_kings_head Going here for a meal tomorrow. Been before and it's extremely nice, especially for reasonably priced pub food. Anyone got any ideas on what to get? If anyone is going out to eat in the future it'd be cool to post menus etc here
