Finished book two in the series, thought the third was out but seems like I have to wait till August! Although this isn't the best story ever told, the fact that Jorg is the biggest BADASS in literature history totally makes up for it. The author did a fantastic job this main character, although Jorg is made of pure villainy and just fucking EVIL, I'm still left cheering for him. Dearly waiting for the final chapter in the trilogy.

The only thing is looking at the Specs for both systems, it seems to me that the Xbox One will have the sub-quality version of these games. As long as Dev's don't develop for Microsoft's X1 first, then port it too the PS4 like they did with a lot of 3rd party games this gen for the PS3 ( which gave it the lower quality game/ which everyone liked to point out/ Fricken' Idiots ). And which was mostly due to most people in America owning 360's, even though the PS3 was the more powerful system ( although it was more difficult to code for ). This gen should hopefully be a bit better for Sony with it's Console being much easier to develop for. Just take a look at the Specs, the PS4 is obviously the more powerful system. Look at how many more Terraflops the PS4 does, look at how many more GPU Cores it has. It has almost triple the memory speed and bandwidth of the Xbox One as well. I have the exact opposite opinion, single player games without an online side feel like major time wastes. I can only get remotely interested in a game if I'm playing against other people - wow and dota were definitely my curse.

Same here. I played dota for a while, but in the end it just felt like a long waste of time. One specific video game is a waste of time? What about all the others?

Constantly pressured from all social sides to play this, I was big into dota back in the day, but damn... I simply cannot find interest in games anymore.

Almost done with Prince of Thorns and it has been a very interesting read, it is much different than the common fantasy series, so I'm writing a few things because I liked this book and I like you too: Jorg is a badass, he is the definition of hate and darkness, he rapes and kills as he pleases but also gives good philosophy input on life. Few things that make Jorg a badass: Gets in a duel (supposedly with swords), grabs a crossbow and kills his opponent. Eats the hearth of a Necromancer just for kicks. Uses nuclear weapons to kill a whole town (serious). Kills plenty of his posse for being loud mouths to him. Pushes one guy off a cliff to make a point. Finds sex with a whore weird because he didn't have to actually rape her. One thing you should really know is, the book takes place in the future, it is my understanding that there was a worldwide nuclear holocaust and the human race basically started from zero again.
