BOOM!! another multi-million seller!!

ohh yea, free stuff was released for this, wasn't it?? i guess i ought to log in and download it, even though it's all multiplayer stuff and i don't even play online anymore... actually, never mind... i won't get it... hopefully R* is working on a new RDR... it'll have to take place in the past though, since the latest one takes place at the end of an era, and the start of another... it'll have to be before the west was dead... but the western genre is officially alive and well... time to keep it going... ohh, and try making an open world pirate game while you're at it, R*... everything you touch, turns to gold... and there's hasn't been a decent pirate game since sid meier's pirates...

that's how i saw it before today... but for some reason i am starting to see DM as the final chapter in the storyline... DM might be the only DLC that throws hard enemies at you right away... OWB and HH puts enemies with scaled weapons in the game... same could be with LR... dead money has no such thing... if you're not ready, you better of not saved over your previous game once you arrived... which is why i always have a junk save file for those unsure moments... also, take note of the geiger counter going off at the end of the trailer... food rads for thought... ------------------------------------------- EDIT: things you catch after studying again... yea, i see another overseer's office... i've ALWAYS thought this had something to do with a vault... i will stake claim to that and if i am wrong, i am wrong... but i have had one those drunken moments right now where i see predictions backed with strong evidence... i don't think i have ever mentioned that assumption, but come on, fallout has always been about the vaults... and i think it's not out of the realm to say that you and ulysses both came from one... i have had that notion, and after re-watching that trailer, i kinda got goosebumps when i saw that... just sayin'... and i will even go futher and say it is vault 24, since i recall hearing that the outfit is still in the PC files, removed from the base game... ahem, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault_24 ...

unlike other R* titles, i am not jumping in right away... i did enjoy the first max payne... played the second but never played the 3rd... i thought it was amazing at the time, but i don't feel the same about it now... i get a kane & lynch vibe from this... another linear gritty balls to the wall shooter uncovering a shady story of power... but, i didn't say no... i've said i will pass for now, but i didn't say no... R* has 6 months to impress me, or i pass on another shooter...

yea but story-wise, i feel like dead money should be played last... i mean i won't know for sure, but it seems like the last place to check out... ulysses sent elijah to the death trap... christine is there, and it seems like its going to be much harder to deal with... at least with lonesome road, you're allowed to bring your own weapons... dead money never gave you that luxury... honest hearts makes a brief mention of the divide and the other courier... enough to peek my interest as i am sure i will of heard about this other courier by then, and the burned man... the big empty is also mentioned here, which would make me interested in finding this place... old world blues will lay out the entire mission that lies ahead of me, which if memory serves me correctly, there seemed to be an urgency for me to stay one step behind the other courier, which would lead me to the divide after old world blues... then, after hearing the story of the divide and the fate of the two couriers, it seems like i should follow up on the whereabouts of that demented brotherhood leader and find out what his intentions were that put in motion the chaos in the first place... looking back at dead money, and it's been a while since i played it, seemed like the final chapter, the one that wrapped up everything except the meeting in the divide... the only thing that hopefully changes is if me and the courier had already had our encounter, would the final slide show in DM change to reflect that?? i should do some more research on the dead money story... it's been too long since i played it...

i think the red people are more like re-skinned ghouls, or skinless ghouls... the troggs are being used for those weird lizard people with glowing tips... apparently the vault is calling them blood men though... http://fallout.wikia.../wiki/Blood_man and yea, the more i look at that one screen, the more it looks like the view if one were to leave the divide and re-enter the mojave... the explosions look to be over hoover dam or the fort, and the mojave outpost or cottonwood cove... not sure if there's a cape that would re-adjust to your allegiance as it happens in real time... what if you weren't aligned with anyone or did any missions for either side?? i guess then you would be independent... what if you were aligned with mr. house?? i dunno what to think about that one... i thought it was weird to see two of them in the same scene... lol, i could rip screens from that trailer all day long ... looks like a nice mix of new weapons and armor though... plenty of stuff to gather it appears... can't wait to see how unforgiving death valley and the divide really are... looks like it's going to be a fun town to explore, full of crazy creatures and buildings galore... crumbling paths and rockets to detonate... starting to think that the order for my next new character should be: HH, OWB, LR, DM...

ehh, pass... for now... looks like a typical shooter with possibly an interesting story...

that occasionally happens to me... not only with lobotomites, but even mole rats, legionaries and deathclaws... sometimes the hit doesn't register, even though you see a little blood on impact... thems da breaks when it comes to a glitchy masterpiece...

no, he's like me and probably doesn't want to pay $80/month to use the internet on his phone... and i hear rumors of hidden fees to jack up your monthly payment if you don't have a data plan... fucking phones are getting out of control...

LG rumor touch... i don't even think i want a smart phone once my contract is up... the ipod (3G) does many things for me... all i know is FUCK SPRINT, i am going with verizon wireless...

i actually will walk around and avoid animals early in the game for that very reason... and run into the middle of them with a melee or unarmed weapon later in the game... again, i find the CQC to be the most effective way to handle the mojave... sure, anyone can pick enemies off from a 100 yards out with a pistol... but getting into the middle of a swarm of animals/creatures is the most effective way to deal with them... there's plenty of stimpacks and weapon repair kits and pre-war suits to keep me going strong... it's the legion/NCR hit squads that tend to use up precious 12 gauge ammo, or MF cells... creatures are the least of my worries throughout the game...

it's a charisma hit of 6 points that keeps me away from the the animal friend perk... i had it in fallout 3 for one of my side characters, but i still can't find a purpose to the charisma skill when i can improve it by investing points into speech and barter... yea sure the very select few perks that correspond to charisma seem like fun, but those other SPECIAL skills are so very important that it's hard to put more than 3 or 4 into charisma...

be aware of the nightstalkers... you'll know what i am talking about soon enough... you know they're in big MT, get ready to see them come from nowhere, unless you're always a sneaking person to begin with... even then, they'll still surprise you, and in packs... in the big MT, they live up to their name, "stalker"... but the "night" part doesn't make sense to me since they'll come after you in the daytime...

pfft, i got that tuesday off, but the playstation store never updates until around 6pm... and by that time i will be on my way to northern michigan to play a round of golf at a premier and nationally recognized country club... but we get back wednesday evening, so i should have that evening to play it...

i am sure the beta only runs for a limited amount of time... like say, maybe a month tops... so you might wanna just download it now and play it when you get the chance... but you'd better do it soon, the brotherhood beta didn't last long...

seems to like their ideals, especially considering how far elijah is from that idea... he really doesn't like elijah, and he did kind of send him off to his death in the madre by telling him of that death trap... perhaps he's a brotherhood himself?? a thought just came to me... i wonder if ulysses is the one that shot ED-E... since ED-E seems to revolve around a side-quest in LR... and what do you do if ED-E is dead?! i surely hope collecting his upgrades aren't detrimental the main story of LR...

you haven't had the burned man as a follower yet?? he's wickedly good with his unique .45... i think you can only get him for one journey, so next time i go there, i am going to exploit it a little and use him to do side-quests and explore tougher caves... i am actually getting very close to sending my little asian follower to zion... old world blues is a must have, stoic... you'll really really enjoy it, you have to play it... and lonesome road is just two weeks away!! i'm getting all excited about the final chapter of new vegas... the only story still left unanswered... ...and have you been to vault 11 or 34 yet??? those are stories within themselves... vault 11's vault-tec purpose and vault 34's crazy maze full of baddies... ---------------------- apparently bethesda released an audio log found in lonesome road... i am not gonna listen to it for fear of spoilers, and if it's found in lonesome road, i will find it myself... but any of you are welcome to check it out, but please discuss it in spoiler tags...
