  1. just cause 2 worked like fallout and skyrim; if you make the trek all the way across the map, you unlock the ability to fast-travel to that town on the other side of the map, thus cutting the travel time down drastically... also, you start to learn of the helicopter locations and planes to help cut the travel time down even more... it doesn't hurt to liberate an airport for that very reason...
  2. lots of stuff to blow up though... and besides, who wants to go into a 3rd world country shop when you can call the black market??
  3. yup, skyrim is sucking just as much of your life away as it is mine... in two weeks, you'll be over 175 hours too ...
  4. yea, i never enjoyed it on the PS2... if you're playing the beta though, you have to expect shitty servers... you're a guinea pig, a test subject, you're there to try and break the server so they know how to handle the situation... plus expose bugs and glitches of course...
  5. i heard marney had some problems today with the network... i haven't logged on in a few days, was it a maintenance thing?? new update again?? i wanted to bump this topic for a couple of reasons; http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/01/31/playstation-plus-february-preview-free-the-simpsons-arcade-game-far-cry-2-final-fantasy-v-and-more/ the simpsons arcade game comes out next week, and i am actually looking forward to it... i've sank my fair share of quarters into that machine at the bowling alley when i was going up... i never got far since the quarters usually ran out, but i can't wait to live it again... ohh, and it's free to PS+ users ... and so is a copy of "far cry 2" on valentines day... i actually enjoyed playing it and it was on my short-list of bargain bin purchases... nothing is more of a bargain than free... also, i think there's suppose to be a twisted metal demo at some point, but i wasn't looking forward to that one, it's not my thing... but lots of people are looking forward to it...
  6. i still can't believe that's the dad from malcolm in the middle...
  7. fucking great game too... there's also a video recorder on the PS3 version... i made this one myself...
  8. i don't why you had a hard time searching google for the answer though, i entered "biggest game map" and the 1st image explains it all... you're failing at the internet, bro...
  9. morrowind i do believe... or is just cause 2?? EDIT: ^^ what he said
  10. check the hours played, if you're roughly less than half of mine, then you're on my pace ... last time i check it was around 178 hours... you find that info out my checking your save file, before you save over it... or go to the load screen and bring up a file without loading it... ...unless it's different on the PC than it is on the PS3...
  11. ehh, i haven't followed the news on this game since it was announced... looking forward to renting it later this year though, but it is clearly not a purchasable title for me... this might be the 1st R* game i actually don't buy in quite a few years...
  12. yea, keep rubbing it in, fucker...
  13. well, i am sure the skills i use a lot will be at 100 when i reach level 50... so, i did my build correctly i pressume, and shouldn't have a problem once i reach the soft cap... but that fact that after level 50 i can work on my other skills is a nice bonus... i don't mind that it takes longer to level, it just means i have even more time to enjoy the world i live in ...
  14. i've never ever met an eve in my life, nor do i know someone who knows someone with that name...
  15. ok... that's a pretty high number too, i could see myself getting a magic skill to 50 in just one, maybe to levels... i would like speech to be better, but the only way i can do that is by selling shit and to persuade someone in convo... i am at 43 in that skil i think... ---------- what is the deal with blackreach?!?! that's one crazy place, i tell you what... i felt like i was on skooma or something...
  16. well now you've confused me... may or may not?? it's a simple yes or no, or is it a yes and no?? spill the beans...
  17. the cap supposedly is 81... i know the game says 50, but people talk about level 81 for some reason... i don't know it's it's a cheat/exploit, but i have been trying to build my character for 50 levels, with hopes of explanding his skills if it really goes to 81...
  18. yea, i kept pushing all the fallout buttons too... now i wonder what it's going to be like when i fire up fallout again ... i am still upset at the object placing though, it feels like oblivion and it's clunky ways of placing shit... i placed a dragon claw, dragon map and butterfly in a jar in my house... so far, the butterfly jar is the only thing still in it's place... i've since picked up the map and claw because the map ended up clipping through a crate and the claw eventually made it's way to the front door... the environment rejects all foreign objects... fallout felt so precise and i hope it stays that way... i can place, manipulate and adjust over and over without a worry in the world of losing that object or watching the environment reject it... i wonder why that is, fallout handling that completely different than the elder scrolls, even though they're the same engine... then after what i thought was an improvement in object placing, skyrim goes back to the oblivion ways... strange...
  19. how is this not entertaining?!? yea, i watched all 9 minutes... she's got some really good lines and one liners... lol... ohh great, now i wanna play SA...
  20. i posted that macho man mod pages ago, it's the first mod i'll download if i ever get the PC version... here's another one i want;
  21. @indy - yea, quest items technically don't weigh a thing while the quest is either active or not started yet... however, once i gave the lute to the proper person, it finished the quest, but left the item in my inventory... and i know it's now taking up space because my character is mysteriously carrying a few extra pounds with him now... ----------- @DiO - that happens a lot with me, grabbing a quest item well before the quest was even initiated... ------------ i played a ton last night, but i didn't feel like i accomplished all that much... i finish the bard's college quest (which had a really cool druagr battle at the end), tried to do the boethim-something quest but turned it down after i was told i had to make a sacrifice (i'll come back to that one another time), and i am currently deep in the dwemer ruins where i was told the elder scroll would be, or the means to read it, or something... i think i only have maybe one more section left to clear out... level 37, 170 hours in, file size nearing 9MB...
  22. that's why i said he didn't as big of a role, but he was funny as shit...
  23. the missions and the claude cameos from GTAIII are good reasons too... she had a lot of memorable parts, and it's also where i first got my hands on the buffalo ... that's my favorite car in san an... OG loc was funny an all, but not funny funny... jizzy B was hilarious, and i am sure charlie murphy has a lot to do with that, but he didn't have as big of a role in the game...
  24. i'm two handed all the way... one-handed in skill, but i use two hands... i beat the shit out of people with a pair of maces... damn, i thought you were playing on the PS3... lucky for you there's ways to fix the issues... i am stuck with what they give me ... just like i am stuck with some damn lute taking up 4 lbs. of space in my inventory because the mother fucker that's suppose to take it, didn't take it when i finished the quest... too bad i can't at least equip it and play it... i could play along a bard who's singing the dragonborn song... and lol, pandora's box was the 1st thing i thought of when i saw that in my inventory last night ...
