Just to temporarily re-rail, I installed an SSD, up'd the GPU core to 950, mem clock a little lower (still fiddling) and the CPU is at 4.5 atm, rather than 4.6. I just bumped it up to 4.5 quickly when I fresh installed Win7. Moved to ATI, he's been running Nvidia for the past few years. 7950, Ivy i7, GB Z77 and an Alienware M14x are his last few purchases in no order.. dudes got too much money. If you decided you want the 6850 I've got the Asus EAH6850 you can have for £90, unless you find one cheaper elsewhere, in which case I'll give it to you for that. I need £££ for an SSD. Lovely card, I used it for about a week before I got the 580 and it handled everything I threw at it. I have got someone else wanting it but he wants it for £60, which ain't happening. So unless he budges up to £90 I'll save it until you check what Cy's said above. Also, PSU wise, I've got an OCZ 550W that is handling a 25/7 OC'd system.. Sandy i5 at 4.6GHz and the 580 at 950mhz. So, there's a review for that PSU. Not too expensive either. Google says the board is for the Dell 545/545S, that what you've got Indy?

The quest markers don't exactly point you to a place, they go as the crow flies, so any one who can't be bothered to get their map out every now and then is fucked... Skyrim's lost on so many people. Also, has anyone who plays on PC got Warzones - Civil Unrest? I installed it at about 12 am last night so I haven't had a chance to play yet, but I'm excited. I've got JaySuS' swords and Dragonbone swords too, so I'm heading out to kill ALL OF THE STORMCLOAKS!

Got this running on my new PC on a temporary GPU (6850, 580 gets here Wed or Thurs) and I'm shocked to say it runs on ultra with the 6850. Loaded up with some mods and a good ENB, I'm still in shock while I play it. It feels so good to run around and feel so much more immersed in the game than I have before. I love it. I can't wait to install this when the new graphics card comes... then I'll be the one coming!

Mini update on the first post btw. I've looked at the Corsair H100 a couple of times, but I'm not sure... I'm edging towards the Antec H2O 920 set up with 2 1850RPM Gentle Typhoon's. Really? What mobo & mem are you running?

Oh god no, not on air. I'm not fully water cooling it either though, you know the Antec Kuhler kits? I think there's another brand that does them better too, but my mind is blank. I'ma put the processor on that. Nope, it was brand new, on offer at the time. It does suck cause it was like my own Moby's "My First Motherboard", so it being a dud cut me like a wicked edge... All working at the moment though, just reinstalling Windows for a 3rd time.. Nothing wrong with the previous installs, just finding a happy base for the partitions.

Hello fellow humans, So recently I've been thinking - I'm a cocky smart ass, why haven't I built a PC yet? I bet I could do that shit, I joined a Service Desk supporting 4500 staff with no prior experience (aside from being a cocky smart ass who knows computers like the shaft of my cock and learns faster than you can say "say, do you know...") and now I'm one of the favourites on the team, I can do anything! And now here I am, typing away hoping you'll pay attention. It all started last year, I bought a case on a whim, cause I thought it was pretty. The Fractal Design R3, which I'll post pictures of below. It ended up getting a few cosmetic scratches while in storage when I didn't have enough money to build into it, but nothing I can't polish out with a little love. The build as of right now, is waiting for me to get paid on Thursday next week (April 5th), and to meet up with a friend to get my GPU on Friday. This started out as a "I'll build something cheap" build that has spiralled into something beautiful. Initially I was looking at a locked i5 and a GPU along the lines of a GTX 460. Yeah, that cheap. That'll also explain some of the components I'm working with, these will all be upgraded probably on or after the 5th, or the 6th of May. I'm in the process of moving into a new place too, so this is living alongside that. But I need a mobo to test on! So I rushed out and bought a H67 board which came with an i3 2310 (I think), which I'll be selling for cheapsies... I'm 20 hours in on my Dunmer named Sil~Kriid (Soul Slayer in the dov speak) and level 37. She's a psycho. Arcane, my nord who weighs about 2 tons is at 183 hours played. I haven't been able to play properly for a couple of days now and it kinda sucks bawls. I've got goals with Sil~Kriid, as you can probably tell from how fast we've levelled. I didn't go into Bleak Falls Barrow until my last play with her and we fucking slaughtered everyone except the Deathlord with the Dragon Stone without being seen. Next I'm off to do the Thieves Guild so I can get the N's Armor, then dragon claw hunting and Dragon Priest slaying. Taking my time with anything that isn't miscellaneous.

I find every one easy now, I'm way too over powered. I started without a character in mind though, so I went with being a native Nord and I've been using Dragonbane and an enchanted Blades sword each with about 100 damage, dual wielded. That's for the people that see me anyway, my Daedric bow does most of the work. I'm loving the game but I'm bored of my character. I'm definitely going Dunmer on the next play, I might even marry Jenassa. She was my best follower by far, Jordis the Sword Maiden behind her. I love Draugr deathlords though, one of the only ones left who present a fun fight. I've got 4 dragon priest masks now. I'll be sad once I've got them all, the priests are always good to go up against. Has anyone met Red Eagle yet? The first time I fought him he was in Priest get up, then I died later on (jumping off a mountain no less), and had to go back to fight him again and he was a measly draugr. He was killed by Jordis before I'd even noticed him amongst the skeletons I was taking out. I haven't played properly since Christmas day. The PS3 I'm using is on it's last legs because of Skyrim I think, but I'm buying my new one on Friday.

They can hear the voice you project, yes, but they also hear your whisper so after they realised that generic rock wall isn't the source, they come straight for you. Yeah, I last night I went to Shearpoint and finally killed that bastard Krosis and got the Whisper Shout. I got found out immediately each time. I'll stick to plinking arrows off the walls or distracting them with a ghost wolf. I got the Rose of Sanguine or whatever last night. It was a pretty good quest, very reminiscent of a recent Hollywood movie where the characters drank too much. Now I can summon up a Daedra to help kill whatever I need to. Pretty freaking awesome. I killed Krosis a few days ago. He was really fun, a lot more fun that Volsung. but I was a lot weaker when I fought Volsung, so it was very much cheap shots and then running off to jump up the side of the mountain where his staff couldn't reach me and arrowing him. Krosis, myself, and Jordis and her summoned Valynaz were going at it hard, even when she or I slashed the Valynaz and he turned on us. Shit got intense. Sanguine Rose! I've given it to Jordis (as mentioned above), she holds it in her left hand and has a fuck off enchanted Scimitar with 81 damage.
