I want less free weapons than what we had in San Andreas, having to purchase more of it would make the money more useful. Fewer spawn points and some randomness would be nice. Heavier weapons, like RPG's, should be very expensive and not very available. You mentioned somewhere that you should be able to fire a RPG out a window, but I'm not so sure I want that. Maybe I want too much realism, but if we are realistic, a RPG is a useless weapon indoor unless you want to commit suicide. The backfire will instantly incinerate everything in the room, including the guy firing it unless the room is big. This is what the movies don't show us. Maybe it looks okay for many people, but for someone who has done military service it looks ridiculously silly. Remember how Rambo successfully fired an RPG from inside a helicopter? From your wishes I see that you want realistic physics (trees and leaves moving in the wind etc), and I would also like that, so I want a little bit of physical realism elsewhere too. Plus teens. I want some young people in the streets. I know we can't have kids, but teens (maybe 16+?) are fine IMO. Disappearing? I instantly thought about Massacre when I saw this... But I do agree.

^ Thank you, Mass. Happened to me in San Andreas all the time. (And it happened under the police HQ in Los Santos to a NPC. ) Sorry but what is "noriety"? I tried to look it up but found no matches. I don't think the police should look after you if you don't have a wanted level. That's basically what you suggested and it's one of the few things we disagree on. I like the idea of throwing away clothes, but I don't want to magically find it in the safehouse afterwards. We both do like realism, but this would not be realistic at all. Just make some of them sexy, darn it!

Shit, that was a big wall of text, Seb! But I read it all and I enjoyed it. I liked almost all of your ideas. You keep referring to "warrior", what is that? Lol, it's funny when they accidentally hit each other! I had much fun with it in San Andreas. Raids and robberies are fun, but in San Andreas I did not have fun with all the money I accumulated. There were many things to spend money on, but I quickly ended up having so much money that it was pointless. I don't want GTA to turn into some sort of business simulator, but I do want to struggle more for the money. Having to pay fines could help this. Also repainting and repairing a vehicle should be expensive. That happened in San Andreas. So they removed it in IV, is that so. You want fuel as a factor, but you don't want the possibility of running out of fuel? But I do like the idea, and I think vehicles should run out of fuel if they were not refueled. But I would not want to have to refuel often.

I understand this as a wish for easier use of RPG's inside buildings. By the way, I don't understand the red part, perhaps a small change in the grammar would help. A problem with 3rd person shooters (GTA and RDR at least) is that you can aim out of a window but the barrel/bullet is actually aimed at a wall. So the dot you aim with is within the window frame but when you shoot, the bullet hits the wall or frame instead. It can be VERY annoying sometimes.

Took a walk through Manhattan today and passed by R*HQ (been a while). I noticed L.A. Noire logo stickers on the curbs of every street corner for about 10 blocks around. They were stuck on other things in between too (newsstands, basement doors, etc). Just thought I'd share.

R* should've done what Bethesda did with New Vegas and had another R* branch do a GTA spinoff. More money for them, more GTA for us. I'm sure R* San Diego could pull it off.

I understand this as a wish for easier use of RPG's inside buildings. By the way, I don't understand the red part, perhaps a small change in the grammar would help. In IV, sometimes when you're trying to shoot someone who's too close to where you're shooting from (in this case, a window or ledge), you'll end up hitting the ledge instead, which is obviously instant death with an rpg. Other times, the rocket will spiral out of control after fired and hit something other than what you aimed at.

Well the previous generation of GTA games were extremely easy to mod, most of it was in straight text files. GTA IV however I have no idea, but I have seen quite a few mods for it. You might want to view Dup'z post here. Although those specs are well above what you need, the RAM especially. Probably best to post in there regarding GTA IV, since this is strictly GTA V related.

I want to tl;dr that post, but, punctuation, capitalization, proper grammar? This is too organized to be new member gibberish, I'll have to get high, grab some cheddar Chex Mix, and come back to read this.

Just downloaded the game update this evening. Here's a few things I noticed... For all the things it supposedly fixes, the update installed in only 2 minutes. I had no lock up issues before, but after updating, game locked up 3 times in 20 minutes. Between Goodsprings Source and Primm. Definitely, not a good sign. Quite annoying. Traveling around North Las Vegas and Westside, no change, still smooth for me. The minigun noise has been fixed, and it won't sound off when not firing. So that's cool. Although re-loading afterwards was in cinematic mode for me. Being around Cazadores in the Mojave, The Thorn, and Zion Valley, I still hear their noise, which was supposed to get fixed. No change in Zion Valley other than that, still smooth operation for me. Using scoped weapons no longer appear as 'arms over head' in crouched/stealth mode. I always use the fully modded sniper rifle and it was one of first changes I noticed. The dead hooker in Gomorrah is still alive, talking, and the death message still comes up. L0L - Inspect the Body. Tortured for several hours then murdered. So that is a no change, was that way before the update. There is a companion dismissal terminal by the elevator at Lucky 38. Upon first entering, I heard the Securitrons making a drinking from a bottle sound. Same for Penthouse Level, drinking sound. Also, still not fixed, the strip/freeside noises when fast traveling out of there. It's weird to hear all that crap out in the middle of nowhere like Goodsprings Source. EDIT: Also saw the companion dismissal terminal at Gun Runners, and that's both terminals now accounted for. Now making new armor from not repaired armor, will no longer result in 100% condition. Before, I could make any of the gecko-backed metal or leather, and in any condition, the result would be 100% perfect. Just made some of the Gecko-Backed Leather Armor, Reinforced, it was at like only 75%. EDIT: I also went back to Hoover Dam, where the NCR Commander is waiting to hear that President Kimball is safe. Of course, this leads in to the final battle. I enabled the quest, and told her the president is safe. Then she told me to report to the other guy in the Dam, and there was the prompt. No, I am not ready yet, or Yes, let's do this. When I declined, and left, there was a new save file on the game. SYS SAVE was the name of it. I believe this is what they were talking about in the update.

what if you can walk the streets at night and get rob and when you drive through neighborhoods and see people fighting or seeing a bank get rob and when you come home late you can catch someone breaking in to your house and when they see you they can start running and you can chase them down and kill them or you can get 2 dogs to watch your house while you gone and when you just coming home from a mission you can see your dogs attacking someone that was trying to break in your house or what if you can see riots in the city and you can see people running out the stores with tv's and bikes and motorcycles or what if you find out the governor or president is part of the mafia that you having problems with and he's helping them and you can get sent on a mission to kill the governor or president and when you get caught you can get put in prison and someone can help you escape from prison in a helicopter.

I liked the idea of being randomly mugged in the street but it'd piss me off if that happened on every corner, maybe certain rough areas but not everywhere. Maybe if you had all that hard earned cash on you you'd keep your eyes peeled for shifty looking characters. While I'm here; Let's hope they add an airport again but this time with better ramps etc for doing crazy stunts in multiplayer, or even a huge skate park meant for cars and motorbikes. Grand Theft Auto Earth COMING 2110!! (Only on BrainChip3000®)

what if they come up with a idea to make a wold wide special edition GTA game and put everyones ideas in the special edition and they probably could win a best game awards of 2012 but i surely don't know if that will work out or not but you'll never know just wait and see. they should have a italian character or a character that's similar to cj!

l was just saying what if they do come out with a special edition and i just wanted to see what was you guys opinion about that and if they don't i'll still be grateful and if they don't put none of my ideas on GTA then what's the use of having this website to discuss ideas im just saying but if they don't i'll still be grateful for it because i know that GTA5 is still going to be more much better then GTA 4 and do not take none of my comments offensively i have opinions just like everyone else have opinions simple as that and i also have the complete edition of GTA4/the lost and damned and ballad of gay tony all on one game disc that i got from the game store and im a GTA fan and a baltimore ravens fan not a saints row fan and i hate saints row.

Trains in multiplayer. There must be a good reason they haven't done this yet (think RDR too) maybe it's impossible to implement atm?

"GTA 5 might be announced" is a worthless statement but Rockstar Games c/o Take-Two Interactive will be at Gamescom 2011 which runs from 17th - 21st August in Cologne, Germany.

That would make for an interesting scoreboard at the end. "Hey I got a kill!" *splat* "OH FUUUUUU-"

I sometimes (in IV) put sticky bombs on my car then bail out before I reach a gang of players then let it explode in the middle of them. Sticking one on a passing car which is travelling in their direction works sometimes too. Sticking one on a train for the same reason would be class, yep, we need sticky bombs in GTA V too.

Do you know how much a new sports car depreciates in value as soon as you drive it off the forecourt? Are you planning to sell at a loss? Also, your grammar just got better overnight, much easier to read now.
