Everything in here is very, very cool. That is all.

Sometimes the animations in RDR are a pain in the ass when I'm in the middle of a firefight or trying to make quick movements. I hope R* sacrifices the "smooth" movements a little for function. Sucks when you want to take cover during a reloading animation that can't be interupted while you're being shot at by 10 enemies. Things like that. Also when you want to make a quick turn but end up making a long, slow turn instead.

Yes I had much fun in RDR not killing and skinning various animals. This is an early Sunday morning, but I think I'm just enough awake to sense some irony here. Some of us have not forgot where burgers come from. Edit, Every time I see a fire engine in GTA IV I think of you. Hope there's more in GTA 5, just for you. I like to think the drivers are all TreeFitty, so I pull them out of the cabs, shoot them in the face and proceed to have Niko fondle their corpse.

I want wildlife (various animals). But it's not going to happen because some players could have fun killing animals and that is apparently so much worse than killing humans.

I could see Yusef appearing in the next GTA (the Phil Cassidy of the PS3/360 trilogy?), perhaps giving us a mission where we fly to Dubai to kill his father, like the Liberty City mission from San Andreas. That's the only way I could see Dubai in GTA, not as the entire game's setting.

Like a full-on Bigfoot chase through the park, at the end of which you wake up in a pool of your own vomit in a Burger Shot bathroom?

Why wouldn't we? R* hit the nail firmly on the head with the mission structure and variety of missions found in Red Dead. If they can carry that over into GTAV, they'll be guaranteed a sure-fire hit. I wouldn't say that got it exactly right. I actually gave up playing RDR at one point because it took so long to get into it. I appreciate they have to help the learning curve, but they didn't have to put in a tutorial mission for every little feature. I think this was a complaint with SA and GTA IV too. It took SO LONG to get into the actual story and decent missions where you start killing townfolk that the game was downright boring for the first 3/4 hours, though it was probably worse in RDR thanks to the slow-as-fuck travelling in a monotonous landscape. If there's one thing Rockstar doesn't take from RDR, it should be that.

I expect they'll be taking a lot of inspiration from the popular features in RDR. Gang hideouts, gambling, interactive free roam, social club challenges, etc. I think some of the picky features everyone asks for before a new GTA game (petrol, ability to do x, a mission where you are able to do y, etc) are going to be ignored in favour of 'social' features, challenges, leaderboards, and suitable rewards (avatar awards in RDR were cool. Shame there were only nine, but they were probably testing the water). Will be interesting to see how they handle outfits - will they stick to GTA IVs idea of clothes shops and a few special outfits you can unlock, or go with RDRs model of unlocking outfits as you complete a series of tasks? I think the shopping model applies to GTA IV better but RDRs outfit selection was MUCH more varied and interesting. In GTA IV I found myself using the same two outfits, where as in RDR I use a number of different ones. The selection was extremely limited in BOGT and LAD didn't bother at all. It will also be interesting to see if they give some outfits different bonuses too - but I suppose that all depends if Rockstar is going to go for realism again, or more of a relaxed/fun atmosphere. I guess RDR could get away with it more easily since the Western setting has an aura of fantasy about it. Maybe Rockstar will let us vary the outfits better by letting us choose our own colours or something? Who knows, I just hope we can have a larger number of decent outfits than GTA IV. One thing I hope Rockstar does is make it less of a grind to progress in multiplayer. I do not want to have to grind to rank up and unlock stuff! Let me unlock guns/outfits by completing challenges if you want, but I don't want to have to play for 100s of hours to unlock everything I want to own. Maybe let people choose what they want to unlock at each rank rather than have a set order. The game is fundamentally a sandbox game, so there should be fewer restrictions than you get with a normal FPS game. As far as the actual story goes, I'm open to ideas. America has the diversity you need so I expect GTA V will be set there. I'm more interested in having a better range of cars with better sounds and handling (GTA4 was an improvement, but you had Infernuses with jelly suspension), a good selection of guns (again with better sounds), and I'm also hoping for some more graphic gunplay. Sure you could get clouds of blood in GTA IV, but there was no dismemberment or anything like that. Improvements to the cover system are pretty much guaranteed so I look forward to that, too.

Nice photo. I like the scenery. Are those animals eating sand and stone? lol. Pretty eyes! I see your buddy is agreeing with me and about to give you a seal of approval on your cheek haha. LOL! The way you just "randomly" happened to remember that link is so funny. I think we've not had cuter spam here before. Hitting on Psy's sister eh Demon? He's only doing it because Koko doesn't post on here any more.

I guess the new 3d is more about depth of field and refresh rates. Marney did you mean 3D support on Ps3 soon or only on PC? i wouldnt mind trying it in 3d tbh. The next GTA with 3D support would be a nice too. Too bad i aint spending fuck loads on a 3DTV though! So far it's only confirmed for the PC version. I think R* Leeds are porting it.

It wouldn't surprise me if that's copy pasted to every GTA site. People trying to figure out formulas based on previous games need to understand that the Grand Theft Auto franchise isn't planned out 20 years in advance with the Pope keeping the blueprints safe deep under Vatican City alongside his gay porn collection - it's just not the way things work. The next GTA is called 'GTA 3D' and it's set in Hawaii, I know because my sister's friend's hairdresser knows a guy who owns a talking dog and it told him so. The kid's entitled to his opinion but I've read the same thing from 14 year olds too often now. Start using your brains kids and think of something original. gtahawaii.com

Grand Theft Auto: VICE My take on GTA V and my thoughts on the next GTA. Naming Now the next GTA is being called GTA 5 by fans everywhere, that name is where you are wrong. The Grand Theft Auto series has 4 eras. The GTA Era -GTA -GTA London 1969 -GTA London 1961 The Second GTA Era -GTA 2 The Third GTA Era -GTA III -GTA VIce City -GTA San Andreas -GTA Liberty City Stories -GTA Vice City Stories The Fourth(Current) GTA Era -GTA IV -GTA The Lost and the Damned -GTA The Ballad of Gay Tony -GTA Chinatown Stories -(Unconfirmed) GTA V Now here is where you are wrong. Each GTA Era starts with a number. GTA IV is the start of the fourth era. I really doubt that they will move to GTA V(The 5th GTA Era) this quickly. My Theory GTA IV is supposed to be the reboot of the Third GTA Era, since it is not the same timeline as in GTA Era 3. Now he next GTA game will most likely, in my opinion, be set in San Andreas, or possibly a new city, such as Hawaii. I truly believe the next game will be set in Vice City and the game after that in San Andreas, as according to the GTA 3 Era. I could be wrong though. There is the possibility of Chinatown stories being moved to the consoles like with the Stories series. Now my theory is it will be moved to Vice City. I think this could really be a good thing, since with Liberty City they expanded the city with more islands and this could be the same with Vice City and they could make it more, current Miami like and there is also the MotionScan as well as the addition of more choices like in the end of GTA IV. There are also fanmade screenshots on igta5.com about Vice City. It looks very well done and it could be seen as a real game sometime in the future. Denial of Hawaii In the igta5.com homepage there were screenshotsof GTA 5 in Hawaii. It looks more like an edited version of GTA IV and a fanmade title screen of GTA V. I also don't see the point of a Hawaii when VIce City is alot like Hawaii in appearance, but more like Miami in cars, clubs, etc... You all may reply to this as you see fit, hate it or like it, will not make a difference to me.
