For me, it comes down to camera quality. I find myself playing Fallout in first person a lot because the camera is shitty and there isn't a cover system (unless you're an NPC ). If Fallout's third person camera were on par with, say, GTA V, I would use that exclusively.

Ugh. Christmas...25 minutes of actual shopping. Three hours of waiting for people to get the fuck out of your way.I did pretty well. Beer makes me creative. I got her some cabaret style lights for her dressing table mirror(just need to find the time to rig 'em up). I'm going to buy a large bow so I can attempt to present it as a present?! Some boots she's been hinting at, a large multi-coloured flowing scarf thingamajig, necklace, earrings, and a load of bath/shower stuff. I treated myself to three pints, a Ben Sherman and the new Brian Clough film. Not a bad days work.

I stopped making an effort with my settlements as soon as I realized that enemies usually just spawn right in the center of town. No one's keeping the gate shut, the walls mean nothing. Now I'm just looking for a quiet place to live alone.
