Psy 350 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 There's an update out for the forums which I will be installing tonight. This means there might be an hour or so of downtime. Included in the update are a few bug fixes and a few tools for mods and admins to make running the forums easier. Apparently there are also upgrades to the reputation system and the status updates. Not 100% sure what they are but we'll see. I have a feeling that all comments that currently exist on status updates will be lost because the ability to comment on status updates was added through a forum modification. This update provides that feature from the basic forum so they'll probably work in a slightly different way. Anyway just thought I'd keep everyone updated. Let me know if there's any problems. I can't post a status update with the drop-down menu next to my name, only through the Profile Feed. Not really a problem, just thought you'd like to know. And we no longer can downvote, Marney won't hit the -1500 mark. And the new forum loads twice as slow on dial-up. We'll see if it's just some random slowness. I don't like the new :angry : smiley particularly much, it looks too angry. Beyond that little issue, I like things so far, especially the fact that Demon can't post. Not really a problem, just thought you'd like to know. how do you do it?!? i can't respond or start a new topic on my ipod... it kinda sucks, i wonder if that's why QD always started a new topic to respond to someone on the feed... liking the new layout though, haven't navigated that many areas, and i am also pretty drunk... but not too shabby ... this downtime also explains why all of a sudden i couldn't respond to massacre's feed post... then i get online just now and it appears that i posted twice in a row ...
