What are you looking for in GTA5?

Recommended Posts

For the Mountain pictured in the trailer to be climbable, with a big ass jump on top as well as those planes to be flyable by your protagonist(s).

Make it harder to lose a wanted level than it was in IV.

Honestly I bet people have better chase stories in III, Vice City, San Andreas than IV. If you started a rampage, I always found that I'd lose the police cars too easily in IV with that damn zone. San Andreas had a good system in that if you where hidden off the map you could lose some of your heat. In IV it was way too easy.

What's GTA without causing a mad ruckus and having fleets of police cars chase you down relentlessly until you go off a jump and ditch them in the river?

As well, I liked the IV story but I couldn't look at Niko as this bad ass that usually GTA protagonists have. He fit his story well, but I just couldn't think him in the same was as a cold, muted killer, the man on top of a drug empire, or a gangbanger that got what was his in the end.

Maybe it was his dialogue, I don't know. I just couldn't get into gunning down people as Niko for some reason.

It's because Niko had too much of a conscience. He could barely pull a trigger without going into an emo rant.

Tis true. A lot like Vic Vance in Vice City Stories. Murdering dozens, but in missions is all like "I can't be doing this shit blah blah blah"

Give me someone I can love...to play and run over as many hookers in a 10 second span with that has something witty to say.

Maybe that's why I liked playing as Claude the most. No voice at all is awesome, no conscience what so ever.

Which is also funny because outside of missions he has no problem taking the window-washing platform to the top of the Grand Central Station Hyatt Hotel and sniping ped and cops.

Makes him look schizophrenic. Tisk, tisk, tisk.

Tommy was the ideal protagonist for me. The way he lived was "This is how fucked up shit is, and this is what we need to do to fix it." And he did it, simple as that. He never gave any indication that he enjoyed killing hundreds of people, but he didn't shy away from it either.

i am not really a big fan of the newer game console and all, but i loved the GTA San Andreas game, one of the best games i ever played and the best Gta game out there. So i prefer to stick with my old ps2 and play Gta San Andreas, but if GTA 5 ends up to be San Andreas on super steriods, with all, and the jetpack (there better be a jet back -_-) than ill rush down to the nearest gamestop and buy me a ps3 and get the son of a bitch!!!!! :)

Rosenberg: "I stick my head out of the gutter for one freaking second and fate, shovels shit, in my face."

Vercetti: (As chilled as possible) "Go get some sleep"

Rosenberg: "What are you going to do about it?"

Vercetti: "I'll drop by your office tomorrow, we can start sorting this mess out"

i hear some rumours tht the main protagonist will die in GTA V jus like RDR, i believe its jus random rumors..

until r* actually release the game then stuff like that is exactly what you said, rumours. I dont think that'd work tbh, I didnt like it on rdr, it just didnt feel right roaming round on the game with a different character. I'd done all that work then poof, hes dead.

I'd love a little bit of refinement with how the police system works, "oh look ive just smashed into a police car and drove away. shit, bitches got their guns out already." maybe they could try to pull you over before they blast you

I dont think they will end it like RDR I think because they made it so John had a bad past, it was a crime doesnt pay message, and to show how bad it was during those times to, altho if u judge their last 2 games Niko gets his Girlfriend/cousin killed and John Marston dies and his son does the thing that John didnt want him to do, so im looking for a more realistic ending rather than ride into the sunset owning the whole city

GTA is a life of crime, not the fat bastards harassing the public. Although it was funny to punch a fat cop in GTA IV and practically walk away because he is too slow to catch me.

But that would be pretty fun, maybe as a minigame or if you get in a police vehicle, some vigilante mission.

It wasn't a 'crime doesn't pay' message, it was a 'the feds are assholes and they all need to be shot in the face' message. John didn't do shit, the feds betrayed him. Also, Niko doesn't get anyone killed. Just like RDR, it's a case of the people you work for betraying you.

I dont think a GTA lead character is gonna worry about meeting a ticket quota. Cop missions in IV were perfect. Almost makes sense for a Psychopath like Niko to jack a cop car and kill some criminals he hears about for fun.

the things i want to see are the gang wars bigger than´╗┐ ever with the territory take overs

and the gambling shops like horse racing and casino games plus i wanna see more car customizing garages basically all the things´╗┐ that made san andreas the best gta game ever (i think anyway). things like the bmx ramp/park and the car racing arena!!!

rockstar i hope youll take the old san andreas and make it ten times better plzzz.

I just saw the GTA5 trailer on youtube, and the game look so real, and the main character suppose to be a actor from a movie in the 1980's, and i actually even saw someone walking their dog on the beach on GTA5, and they even have proof that it's real.... (GTA5 is going to rape saints row)

oh, and they also said GTA5 will be release around somewhere in january... (Finally)

In my opinion GTA San Andreas is the best game i've ever played. It was complete, it had everything for anybody. The only thing that needed improving was graphics. It had a storyline, side missions, gambling, properties, games, and more. The most important thing it had was unrealistic and easy for newbs driving! For me this is the most important thing that rockstar need to bring back and without it rockstar will missout on tens of thousands of sales. The beauty of GTA SA was that anyone could play, and anyone could freeroam without issue and have a wild time. GTA 4 ruined this IMO with the realistic driving. The amount of people i hear complaining that they couldn't play GTA 4 because ofthe driving is ridiculous. Who wants realism in the worlds most unrealistic game!

All i want is the game to be easy to free roam in, the missions can be as difficult as you like but they game should not be rendered unplayable to the less skilled.

I hope they will have a heavy snow cheat code, because i would like to go snow boarding, and change the weather to summer, spring, fall, or winter.

oh, and it should be holidays on GTA5 like new years, thanksgiving, halloween, and christmas... ( GTA5 is going to rape saints row)
