in my own opinion judging from all the screenshots so far i think dat the protagonist may be the african ameriacan guy in the last four screenshots and the parachute screenshot so last five

personally i think that R* r tryin to mix us up maybe just maybe the guy in the suit might be the bad guy equivalent to dimitri rascalov in gta 4 probably the protagonist is the guy running away from the police at the end (because as wikedsick said u cant expect 40-45 year old person to be a protagonist), and the mixed race guy is a friend of the guy at the end. Its just a prediction but probably wont be true

wat would make gta 5 a good game is once u get into the countryside u hear those nice realistic sounds

and what about gta, gta 2, gta london 1969, vice city, lc stories, and vc stories? your theory makes no sense, its just coincidences that a couple gta games were released on a leap year. Not really because even though gta, gta 2, gta london, VC, LC, LCS and VCS were all gta's compare all these gta's to san andreas, san andreas as i said came in 2004 den there was gta 4 which came out 4 years later on a leap year, and now theres gta 5 which is rumored to come out in 2012, tell me how dat could be coincidence if dis happened in three leap years, probably it's rockstars plan now

Has anyone realised that all major gta's have come out on leap years except for GTA III which came out in 2001for example: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas which came out in 2004 Grand Theft Auto IV which came out in 2008 Grand Theft Auto V predicted to come out in 2012 All these years are leap years, this means that GTA V will definately come out in 2012 as it is a leap year

I am not saying that just because a gta game came out in lets say 05 and so the licence has to be set in 05 Im just saying that that gta trailer was the first one so we cannot judge on if it is official on what year it came out on also you cant jump to conclusions before the second trailer has come out

I totally 100% disagree with the fact that gta 5 will be set in 08, are u kidding me or is this just a joke, because first of all gta 4 was already set in 08 and was done with in 08, and the reason y it was set in 08 is because the game came out in 08. And also the gta 5 trailer was the first so you expect it to be completely exact, i would suggest that once you see the second trailer then we can say it is set in 08 but for now it is not a precise date

they should make the game be set in three places San Andreas (modern), Vice City (modern) and finally a made up place, im sure rockstar can create a great place which is made up, either way if this does happen the game would be toooooooooo epic Also adding to that having a great protagonist

I'd just prefer if we started a new protagonist u never no he may better than all three combined(like CJ (Carl Johnson) for example).
