  1. Someone did spot some sea planes in the trailer i swear?
  2. I prefer organised crime, means the missions will be more diverse, maybe an aspect of organised and unorganised
  3. I hope you are right, I felt before the trailer had a bit of a goodfellas feel to it
  4. Well they mentioned South California, if it was pretty much just LA i doubt they would have mentioned it, San Diego I believe is pretty likely.
  5. I think you've summed it up perfectly, initially I was disappointed it wasn't all of SA but the more I think about it just being Los Santo's the more I like the sound of it. R* know what they are doing and it could well be bigger than SA and maybe 10 years down the line bigger and better consoles we will see the whole of the SA but for now what we possibly have is like SA the defining game of a generation which strikes the balance between what SA & IV offered.
  6. perhaps the voice over guy is telling an alternative story..his cover up story to why he's really there
  7. After re-watching the start of Goodfella's I'm starting to believe that the voice over on the trailer seems quite similar(not the voice), has a similar feel...I can now see maybe a bit of Mafia style action in V
  8. I still think the guy in the suit (vercetti according to some people..bullshit) will be like Henry Hill (ironically played by Ray Liotta) at the end of Goodfellas where he gets moved to an undisclosed location, but you work on behalf of him because he's in witness/informant protection
  9. You may be onto something. Have another large town, Los Santos as the main city, and then valleys and badlands for the surrounding area. I think that would be a great balance. And stretch the map enough to allow planes and heli's in there without feeling out of place. Could it essentially be this.. Los Angeles- Large- 9m Population Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino - between 2m- 3m Population- 3 out of these 4 as medium sized places maybe with San diego as the larger area with an aiport with Kern, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Imperial- Between 800,000 and 200,000 Population maybe these areas as the smaller places which is broken up with the countryside Also note the use of an interstate numbered 5 in the trailer which in real life links LA with San Diego
  10. Suppose we can only see what the other trailer will bring, R* mentioned Southern Caiifornia and on Wikipedia S.C seems pretty big and has some decent places
  11. I know what you mean totally and I'd like more useful space but I do have a little soft spot for the countryside perhaps because i'm from the countryside haha either way it'll be amazing!
  12. I'm certain it will be a dense LA/Southern California with different activites but with some country around it to break up smaller cities and towns and to have different feeling regions rather Liberty City and its constant sky risers
  13. Just places to explore and expanding the map without overloading the game
  14. Countryside will have stuff to do, just be more hidden and subtle with little towns on the way
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_California To be fair seems a pretty big area
  16. Your are onto something there, an interesting theory could they release a number of smaller games rather than one longer game? By the way just throwing it out there.. I don't believe for one minute that might actually happen!
  17. No doubt that San Andreas was massive for its time, but there is just so much detail in everything that Rockstar do on the PS3 and 360. During that trailer even the wheels on the cars looked detailed but there are limits, to make the landscape bigger, do they downgrade the graphics and how much detail there is? do they limit what each ped does? it is its own little world now? I can explain it using fossil fuels, We have millions of more cars, buildings, factories etc now than we did a few hundred years ago, more of those you have the more resources you need to fuel them but they will run out unless they are logically distributed to what needs them most. Which I believe Rockstar are doing with their resources scaling back on the size of the game to ensure other more vital aspects of the games are better
  18. Yeah but they have to do it logically, can't make a game which is massive but everything else about the game has been downgraded just down to the size, rather have a smaller but more in depth and interesting game, rockstar will find the balance
  19. Then again unless the mountains are taller than a high limit to fly at they wont stop the planes. I dont see them being taller than that. Plus that sea has to go some where so i think it will be an island again. I hope you are right! although I can see other peoples point about the size of the game, but then they've had a few years to work on it, so we'll have to see what trailer number 2 brings
  20. I suppose as long as its a big map and very in depth, there can't be anything for people to complain about!
  21. I still think they would have tried to take it more clear in the trailer it was just LS rather than several little hints at San Andreas, with the little hints people then start to believe it will be all of San Andreas and when they show its just LS people will be disappointed Although nothing to suggest otherwise but still people read a lot into the trailers
  22. 23rd October 2012! 2+3=5, 2+0+1+2=5 and its gta 5 nah i'm joking, just picked a random date
