to be honest, boston isn't the only state in the commonwealth,... it sounded like the commonwealth was to the north of DC, but there are states to the south in the commonwealth... http://en.wikipedia....lth_(U.S._state) but again, fallout has a way of having different names for states and areas... just thought i'd throw that one out there since we've mentioned the commonwealth so many times in this topic... i agree on the outcasts heading out that way, good point... i could see a scenario where the outcasts caught wind of that place and expanded drastically... it could end up being a battle of the two ideologies of the east coast brotherhood clashing... interesting...

am i the only one creeped out by the always on kinect that knows who you are and can follow you around the room, knows if you lost weight, got a haircut, etc... i bet it gets off when it sees fornication in it's midst... i dunno about that feature, i mean, it's cool to be able to bark commands at it, but wait until i turn the system on before you start undressing me with your eyes... i'm with jamie, how hard is it to push a button?? isn't that what we've been doing playing games all these years?? i don't wanna wave at my TV, or tell it to turn on... what if it doesn't hear me and it's late at night and i don't wanna wake the house up by shouting at it??

i would love to see that... but i bet the NBA execs wouldn't ... congrats on making it to the eastern conference finals though, your team seems to impress every chance it gets... now i know the heat will be a challenge, and really, the east was pretty weak this year, but it's still not a knock on your accomplishments... every year is different... It's worked out well in the East because a Knicks/Heat Conference Finals would have been all buzz and no substance. At least the Pacers can push the Heat. exactly... the major labels have to be in the big games for the NBA to make lots of money... but the reality is, the good teams are the ones that are in these games... and heat are a great team with the stars, but the pacers, grizzlies, and the spurs are good teams too... take the spurs for example... what, 4 championships under popovich?? only their first one with duncan and robinson were big draws... the rest have been lackluster... but they've always been a great team and for some reason that doesn't draw the fans... too bad too... those are the fun games to watch, not superstars throwing down alley oops... save that shit for the season...

@QD i agree about the wastelander part because for the most part, the brotherhood sniff out tech and take it by any means, which also pisses off a lot of the wasteland... it's also why veronica hid that from the public... i think anyone would have a hard time with the legion... sure tech has the edge, but they have the heart and recruits... they fight for a reason, while the NCR fights for money and to be honest, the brotherhood could care less about those affairs so i doubt either faction would have their full attention... but the east coast brotherhood would be a deadly addition to any faction in the commonwealth... they're fighting for the people and putting that kind of tech and heart behind any cause would be lethal...

at least cabrera isn't playing under expectations... he's playing like he's gonna win the triple crown again... holy shit he hit another home run today!! he's got better numbers this year than he did last year at this time...

i don't think the world will ever fill in like you're thinking craze... if it happened, it would be some 50 years into our future perhaps... and there's never been a mention of other countries except for china really, our biggest enemy... plus, this is an over the top 50's america story, putting a foreign twist on it would change the entire concept of fallout... it wouldn't feel the same at all...

the west coast and east coast fallouts are completely different worlds as far as i am concerned... and the creators treat it that way... as far apart as they are, they might as well be different countries... like massacre said, they made minor references between each, but i am sure that if they do mention anything about new vegas, it would be stuff like, "i heard some NCR group and this other band of savages called the legion were battling over the hoover dam... but who cares about affairs on the other side of the country"

here's a side-by-side comparison QD... http://www.ign.com/w...source=facebook they're basically the same with the PS3 offering the faster RAM chip... i also heard that the PS4 may have a 1TB HDD, but that's all rumors... but yea, it will come down to the games and the little tiny extra features to get you to sway one way or another... because as it was with the last gen, it was pretty hard to notice much of a difference in the quality of the games...

How about Metal Gear Solid 5? Will that make you buy a PS4? Watchdogs and Infamous: Second Son aren't games you have to play? nope, nope, and nope... they're not system sellers for me, plus i am not a big metal gear fan at all... a new uncharted would get me to buy a new system though... i mean, i do want to play those games you mentioned, but it's not something i HAVE to play right away, i can wait ... like i said, it's gonna take a new fallout or something important to me like that to buy one... ...or a little extra money in the back account, but i doubt i'll have any of that if my 9 years of living in my own home taught me anything... it's tough to save money...

i won't be buying next gen until some game comes out that i have to play... like a new fallout, or something new and exclusive to the PS4... yea, i'm not wasting my time with an xbox since none of my friends will anyways... play what your friends play...

yea, but if you launch an exciting new pirate game, the next one will sell 10 million copies and the first one will near those numbers by the time the new one is nearing it's release... if it's a good game, it will sell regardless... but i see your logic there...

yea, the whole connecting to the web and skype and multitasking and all that sounds good in a presentation, until you realize you have a fully capable laptop sitting on your coffee table that can do all of the same things... @brian - i was gonna buy a playstation before they even revealed their system... it's the exclusives that i want to play, not all the fancy bells and whistles...
