Brian 972 Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Seeing we don't have an overall political topic, I decided to make one. Whether you love or hate politics discuss what's going on in your nation, no matter where it is, and what you support. I, as well as many other members would love to see your standpoint on many common issues today and would like to see how others look at government in their nation. With that I leave my first view. Firm 982 Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Government Chief Whip Andrew Mitchell resigned yesterday over the "gate-gate" scandal in which he referred to police officers as "fucking plebs" - possibly the worst thing a rich, posh boy could call a real working man. Fucking deplorable. Good fucking riddance. The PM should have sacked him soon as the story emerged. He's been replaced by Sir George Young, who once said "The homeless are what you step over when you come out of the opera." And they wonder why people hate politicians.

Firm 982 Report post Posted October 21, 2012 I hate the triple-chinned albino fucking walrus. He's political mist, I don't know what he stands for...well besides that archaic Tory quote "cut the deficit with spending cuts". He should stick to appearances on Top Gear and Eastenders. Personally, I'd like to maim every single Tory I could get my sausage fingers on. Soon as I'm in government death squads are gonna make a big comeback. I would vote for Labour if this goofy tart wasn't in charge. I guess we're fucked.

Still beats the shit out of me how poor people could listen to the sun and vote for the conservatives. Generally speaking I think most people were just fed up of labour, that's why they votes Conservatives, it most likely wasn't because of their policies. The 3 main parties here are mostly the same, they'll constantly blame each other instead of working together. Nick Clegg is the biggest failure for the liberal democrats especially after the uni fees rise. What we are seeing now is more or less a repeat of the UK in the 1980s

Crazee 204 Report post Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Soon as I'm in government death squads are gonna make a big comeback. I agree to an extent, fuck government though, it'd take four years for parliament to get their fingers out each others asses to even agree to death squads. Bring back monarchy rule, you'd get death squads in a day. Edit: America will be fucked for foreign relations if Romney gets into power, at least with Obama other countries can tell that not all American's are dumb ass racists hicks who like being trigger happy and gun-ho all the time, cos he's black and got a weird middle eastern name that sounds like Osama, but ain't. Firm 982 Report post Posted October 28, 2012 Stewart Pearson perfectly sums up the Tory party. "I've spent ten years detoxifying this party. It's been a bit like renovating an old, old house, yeah? You can take out sexist beam here, a callous window there, replace the odd homophobic roof tile, but after a while you realise this renovation is doomed because the foundations are built upon what I can only describe as a solid bed of cunts". kristo 12 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 they're all the same. people aint got balls like how they used to. they're all sheep. government decisions are dictated by others. doesn't matter who you vote for, 98% of the decisions made will be the same regardless of who they are. I've decided to vote from now on for the minority. that being the green party. i don't agree with all their views, but they're a minority. and i rather give them my vote then the big boys. Fucking ridiculous. There has never been MORE choice on the ballot than there is right now. Two completely different opponents. Not to mention voting for the green party (who you don't agree with, nice choice) is a waste. if Gary Johnson gets 5% of the vote future libertarians get equal access to the ballot and federal funding. Truly ignorant.

He was far from a competent chancellor, he's one of the causes of this mess. I mean this guy sold of all of the countries gold when the market was at rock bottom. Nowadays gold has never been so high in price. He wasted far too much money, while having no real way to make the money back. He spent what the country didn't have and then bam, recession. People would have been fed up with Blair, although to be fair most already were if he were there at the elections. He just jumped ship at the right time and Brown got all the crap from his own faults as chancellor.

Firm 982 Report post Posted November 3, 2012 Finally! Been trying to get people to watch this show for years. My favourite show.
