I wanted a new colour. Now I hate it more than the old colour. The irony is not lost on me.

I haven't had too many problems with it, mind you I mainly play Minecraft and Strategy Games. However I have noticed a quite few issues with running older games from around the windows 95/98 era. I still can't get my old copy of Starcraft to run properly on 8.

Absolutely, most people I know run theirs off a terrarium timer so they don't have to manually switch the lights on and off. You're going to need to get it into a vegging cycle, otherwise, it won't properly bud. A buddy of mine put a seed in the jar on his window ledge and let it grow. So gunny, after a bit of discussion we figured the discolouration shouldn't be a cause for concern yet. It could most likely just be the light or the strain you happen to have. My bigger concern is, what is the day-night cycle you have the plant on? Early in growth cannabis needs tons of sunlight. At current you're going to want to give it 16 hours day, 8 night, to try and keep it in a vegetative state.

This could be it. When it starts growing in size you're eventually going to have to up the soil space. Put it in a garden tray or an actual garden, otherwise the roots won't have space to grow and develop. I'm going to hang out with a friend who's more proficient in this later today, I'll show him the quick snap and get his opinion on it. And I'll probably prepare a questionnaire to make sure you're treating that thing properly. CFLs can be harder to use too. I wasn't even aware of CFL grow-ops until I found this while googling light spectrum, comparisons. EG. 1 CFL light will not cut it. Judging from the spectrums they can be used however, are not as intense as the traditional High-Powered-Sodium lights. which one of can support a plant or two. Here's a quick thread I found about CFL/HPS comparisons. Personally, I'd say start googling, researching, using other forums etc. and find out as much as you can about growing. The internet can be a wonderful tool.

That could be a possibility too. I remember mine that were under heavy sunlight started getting a similar discolouration, but to a much lesser extent. Also, what is it growing in, is it in a pot in a closet or outdoors?

Not a pro here, I just know what I know from the multitudes of different stoners and growers I know. But he is right, that can be the sign of a nutrient deficiency. It might help if you can give us a detailed description or photo of the exact way it's yellowing, sometimes it can be a problem, othertimes it can be nothing. That fact that you state the older leaves are more yellow is a big thing. Were they always this way or did this start after the second set came in? If the second is the case I would put my bet on nutrient deficiency.

Sorry dio but I have to agree on tatter. He only occassionally plays and when he does he shows very little interest in crew activities besides playlists. Getting cheech to shut the fuck up would be nice too.

Actually the sense of satisfaction seeing your plants turn from little 1/2 foot pups into full 5-foot bushes is pretty great. It's the same sense of reward you get from doing any long tedious project like modelling, painting, woodworking etc. Pretty unrivalled in terms of fulfillment. Same with that sense of loathing and disappointment when you walk out and see the hole in the ground where your once beautiful product of time, sweat, and effort used to reside.
