  1. After getting that Infernus in IV it was parked for ages, then one time loaded and it was gone, gone for good. Id actually not mind a Saints/Mafia 2 style garage of a big list, not realistic but hey id rather store a larger number.
  2. I'm not going to say you are wrong, id love to have LV and SF in it, but i doubt it will. In San Andreas it was below San Fierro and to the west of Los Santos, the difference between GTA3 and IV had similar movements of landmarks and entirely reimagined from what LC was. Also adds to the hype and hunger for more information which is a very common rockstar marketing method. It was made obvious that there were three cities in total fairly early. Can Los Santos and the surrounding countryside not make up for this? It goes from vineyard to desert (Did i put desert as in the course or the waterless land). People also whinged about the lack of them in IV which was one city/well only had one airport and therefore wouldnt have taken you to other cities anyway. Plus if the map is that huge its entirely possible the city has two airports (like a lot of real major cities do have) Not a US citizen but don't the licence plates by default have the state on anyway? Again hype is a wonderful thing, although i can see your point. However i think the ambiguities are being created in the minds of people who really really really want to see LV/SF. It could be an overstatement, but then again people may assume all they mean is map size, on top of that you have vehicle range, voice acting, motion capture (potentially), music and/or game/story length. However again, we do not know the size of this map, we dont know how many interiors we can explore. Its entirely possible that every hospital, police station, etc is exploreable. So big in terms of content overall is a plausible explanation for that word. Okay so this one doesnt actually 100% deny that LV/SF will be there, but it is essentially saying what there will be. Anyway i hope no one thinks im attacking you over it, but just the way i see it. Personally id love a full san andreas, but i think its asking for too much. Besides leaves extra cities for future games so its not just some endless reimagineing of Vice, Liberty and San Andreas. over and over until they say fuck it lets make GTA X have LC, VC and SA in one.
  3. I'm from London and i'd rather not play London. Its sort of a blank template city. London could be New York, it could be Paris, it could be anywhere really. Theres nothing particularly special about it, its got a few land marks that could translate but America is all about big and bold. Its why it works so well in video games. Diverse, theres stereotypes to play off off, racial tensions etc. Not so much the location, it just wasnt a great game. Tried to make it seem "realistic" with lack of hud, strange controls (including ones to opperate the car indicators (wtf)) Just wasnt a great game. By great game i mean enjoyability.
  4. a blu-ray disk for ps3 can easily handle 4x the size of liberty city :-P Yeah i know that, but if you read the whole sentence you would realize I said XBOX. Xbox uses DVD, and DVD wouldn't be able to handle a map of such detail at such a size, and GTA has become a multi-platform game now, so it would have to be made for the weakest link (xbox) and ported to PS3. Which is why LA Noire was on three discs... Not saying the rumour is true, but its very plausible.
  5. Just gone back on the site.... The trailer is now saying No video found for specified ID (What it was saying when i fastforwarded my clock before the launch yesterday) Anyone else getting this? EDIT: FUCKING CACHE PROXY. Forgot about that.
  6. Then again unless the mountains are taller than a high limit to fly at they wont stop the planes. I dont see them being taller than that. Plus that sea has to go some where so i think it will be an island again.
  7. Well I think that car was very cool also are you talking about the bit with the wind turbines in the trailer where the car is going down the road? Ahh i was being a retard and forgot to say that i didnt see it in the trailer but it was one id like to return. (Im aware the topic says IV return but why not others?)
  8. That guy was not 60ish. According to GTAWiki Tommy Vercetti was born in 1951 (not entirely sure where they got that) which would indeed make him 60 or 60 at some point this year. I don't think he would be back, they do indeed look somewhat similar. Rockstar have said a few times that the GTA3 Era characters are mostly dead. I dont think we will see any of the Main Characters (Playable: CJ, TV, Claude) back for GTAV, maybe one of the smaller characters or someone who gives you work, such as someone like Donald Love (not saying it would be him but just giving a name) I'm also not buying into this multiple protagonist thing, thats not GTA's style. You've got to connect with the character to really enjoy the game. Thats why people are still going on about CJ, Tommy and Claude. I could see it going RDR style and him dying and playing someone close to him (son, friend/gang member etc)
  9. What was the offroad buggy thing? Can only remember it being in Vice City and i could always find it behind this one building by the Mall. Sure it was the BF Injection or something like that. I miss that.
  10. With the guys backstory of "getting a big house" etc then id say yes. if he is the protagonist, which i see no reason why he wouldnt be, he will probably lose it all, house reposessed, wife leaves, takes his kids etc.
  11. I have a feeling what we saw is what we get, Los Santos and surrounding countryside. If you watch the pedstrians it looks very motion capturey. With that and the size of LS+Country its unlikely they would be able to give more. Xbox will already have at least 3 discs (And microsoft said there wouldnt be a need to use blu ray even after the format war) Its unlikely rockstar would want to have more than 3 discs for the game. But hey i could be wrong, im assuming that LA Noire's map is the same size as the LS and Country side. Never know.
  12. Keep seeing people saying its more than Los Santos and will include SF and LV, looking at the pedestrian movement (looks like motion capture), the scale of LS i highly doubt this, but with a city that big i hardly think its needed. Besides bring on GTA VI for that haha
  13. Well... can kind of see it, still not sure: I think the main character is an ex government guy/police or something. at 0:41 in the trailer...you can see a wire in the guys ear (who looks like a bodyguard) and from his stance it looks like he is standing on the balcony of that 'big house' the protagonist talked about earlier in the trailer. Just a thought ^^^^^^^^^ Picture above is what i'm talking about I think thats just his ear rather than an earpiece.
  14. Whoever it was that David Cross played in SA. Or a new character for Cross to voice. Not that fussed about old characters. As long as Roman (assumed to be dead for all after IV end) is not back. Unless its set before IV, but im pretty sure his backstory was that he arrived in Liberty City, although suppose he could have moved before returning. Unlikely though.
