  1. I'd like some more open-planned safehouses that don't feel so crammed. Maybe with nice plate windows so I can sit in my safehouse watching the world go by outside. But I don't think we'll get anything like that until Vice City (which is the city that's going to be in GTA VI, I work for Rockstar y'know.)

Why not? It should be if you buy a house near vinewood on the mountain, or by Santa Maria (I think that's Santa Monica of SA) Beach.

  2. The ones from GTA IV were more fixed with certain characters, which I thought worked well. In RDR, they were more dynamic but I found them quite repetative such as saving a woman/man from a pack of coyotes. If both elements were included it would be nice, along with some more complex side missions rather than just driving someone to the hospital or shooting a couple of badguys.

  3. Purchasable Villas with gardens and ability to park your car almost anywhere in your property, within reason of course. Maybe even selling them as well. It would be cool if you could buy properties using your mobile, like physically taking down the number on the sign and calling it. That would be cool. There should be a lot of houses, but that depends on the size of the map.

A house in the projects would be cool, with crackheads around and regular shootings... Then being able to go to your mansion just below the Vinewood sign and have an epic party.

  4. i NEVER drove cars from my safehouses to missions because i didnt want to loose them...

So true, back in the days of San Andreas I pimped my sixty-fo' impala to a beast, but never drove it because I knew some crazy lunatic Balla would destroy it. However in GTA IV, I did drive my cars frankly because there is such a little variety and it's easy to get the same car... But only on dates and stuff, on missions I just take a cab or jack someone's car.

  5. I agree though with one of the posts above, in another 5 years or so hardware will hopefully be powerful enough to handle multiple cities, and then we should be able to fly to London, and free roam there, but let's face it - The US is so much better in terms of GTA.

Maybe not London, but a GTA parody since London wouldn't be able to be in the "GTA universe" of false states/cities. How awesome would it be to fly from Los Santos to Liberty City, stay for a week, then to Vice City and stay for a week and maybe even CARCER city! All the cities in the Rockstar universe.

  6. God I hope the protag isn't an Italian-American mafiosi/former mafiosi. Unless it's set in prison, because that's where all the mobsters are right now. It's a glorified street gang these days. And they don't have a presence in L.A. anyway--OK, there are like 4 guys left in the L.A. crime family--but it's listed as inactive by the FBI.

It will pretty much have to involve Latino gangs of some sort. Perhaps some gangs modeled after La eMe and its satellite group the Sureños. Throw in some black gangs and maybe a couple Asian syndicates, and we've got ourselves some action.

I'm going to make a wild guess and say the protagonist is an Hispanic Iraq War veteran that was involved in the gang life as a teen. Who the fuck knows?

Yeah, we've seen enough of that. There is plenty more organized crime to be explored such as the Asians and The Mexican Mafia. These would fit well for the West Coast, with the increase of hispanics. Maybe a parody of the Sureños would be Los Norteños or something.

  7. Give me off road parking and I will be happy, There is nothing worse than coming home in a taxi and having the driver rear end your new shiny Blista Compact, because your parking space is in the middle of the street.

Yeah this happened quite a lot to me, sometimes to the extent of my car being smashed completely out of the area. I noticed this particularly in the East Algonquin Safehouse.

  8. As long as its got a sweet garage. On that note, they should allow you to park 4 cars anywhere on your property instead of designated spots. And if you didn't park it there, it doesnt stay there

I would like to see some more retention of memory of your car, like your horse in red dead.

But also, for example the house in the trailer, if you buy that house, within that house's boundary i.e on the lawn, on the driveway (maybe even the two kerbside spots) the cars left there should be remembered. I would actually much prefer these sort of realistic touchs (I know it takes hardware power to remember stuff like this in every safehouse) than a slight graphical boost or an extra mission.

On the conversation of saving cars (to derail the topic) I want what we saw in GTA IV to return but better, if you leave your car near a mission it will be there when the mission stars after the cutscene. Sometimes however you had to drive a car in the mission and the car you had been saving is lost. Why can't it be left there, saved there, at least for 3 ingame days or something for you to go collect it later.

I know right? I go and get my favourite car for a mission, only to find it dissapears after the custscene or I need to abandon it or something... And I agree with one of the posts above, you should be able to park X amount of cars anywhere on your property instead of a designated garage, unless it's an apartment where it would be cool to keep your car in a parking garage with loads of other cars.

  9. Do you think there will be animals? There is some evidence supporting it, but I don't know how Rockstar would escape PETA when they accuse them of animal cruelty for being able to hit-n-run dogs. It's funny because it's morally right to mindlessly shoot and crash into people, but once an animal is involved...

Anyway, in RDR there were animals (including dogs) and I'm sure you picked up on this already, there is a dog at 0:07 in the trailer for GTA V. Maybe this is a hint towards animals being in the game? At least domesticated animals. It would be cool if there were bears and wolves roaming Mt. Chiliad and the surrounding countryside, along with wolves/cougars/???? attacking cattle in the farms.

I could do without animals, but it would be more realistic if there were animals, and much more fun. Although I don't think you will be able to own a dog, otherwise it will turn into GTA: The Sims pets.

  10. Okay to everyone is denying the possibility I suggested; Rockstar is always on to over-the-top stereotyping, and this is Los Angeles Santos, gang capital of the nation. So I have reason to believe Street gangs will be involved, somehow or another. Judging by the sound of the voice in the trailer I believe he will be more involved in organized crime like the Triads and the mafia though.
