  1. For me, Character customisation all depends on the protagonist. I like to keep it generally believable, in terms of what the protagonist's character is, if he's a well-to-do business man, or a street hood, will keep that theme, changing his clothes but keeping the general look.

I always think "what would my character want to to wear?"

I can't imagine that C.J would realistically walk down Grove St with a pink afro and joke glasses, and expect to get to the end of the street without being shot dead by his own homies. San Andreas took the customising to a level where it didn't even look like C.J any more, where as in GTA 4, it didn't matter what you dressed Niko in, he still looked like Niko.

I'm hoping GTA V will find a balance between the two, giving more options than GTA 4, but still keeping it relative to the character.

I know what you mean, I must admit I felt quite retarded walking through the ghetto with my full yellow suit and yellow hat...

  2. The drug trade should definitely make a return, I loved it too much in CTW to not want it again. All be it over powered. But as for seeing the main character doing drugs, I don't think that'll happen, I do believe it may be implied the protagonist does it out of sight though.

This will cause the moms who buy the game for their 13 year old kid to complain, yet in the first place he shouldn't even be playing the game.

What a shame, i'm sure those mums aren't concerned over the virtual killing, casual sex and drug references already in the game. But yes parents today are fucking idiots, 'nuff said.

Yeah, they buy their lil kids M rated games and then complain when Lil' Jimmy blasted his classmates at school. The real reason being because he is abused by his parents... Then the media comes up with a bizarre reason for the kid not being able to differentiate between the game and real life, and how all violent video games are bad and damage people.

That's just a typical video-game related story from the media.

  3. I'd rather have a game set in San Fierro for an Asian protagonist.

    Actually that would be better.

If the main character is shown in the first trailer for every GTA game, then why would they change it? The old guy narrating the trailer is a dead giveaway for it, but why would we be playing as a retired criminal? Then again the one guy driving in the red car could be one as well. Maybe the rumors are true and there are two protagonist. It might be interesting to play as the seasoned vet for a couple missions, then switch to the thug who is trying to move up the ranks. Both stories would intertwine somehow.

Yeah that would be really awesome, playing as a Triad ranking up and dealing with other organized crime. A young triad, not some 60 year old druglord.

  4. But nothing to say that he's definitely the protagonist (or one of them), although it's looking probable.

I really hope he isn't the protagonist. Seriously. Who want's to play a 50 year old running around shoving people on the streets? He would probably die from one hit of a car.

But I wouldn't mind seeing him as the boss/antagonist of the game. and you end up killing him in the end over money. That was very unoriginal...

  5. "I weel go adn nock on CJs door to his hoem and then if he ansered I weel say hi CJ wana roll on theese ballers fools and he weel get in my car and we weel go nd shot sum peple and it wood be sooooooo epic ten we weel ride to cluckin bell in my lowrider"

In other words, no, there would be no places I would visit specifically with the intention of seeing how similar it is to SA. Because very little of the city will be the same, aside from some of the more iconic buildings. There will be no Grove Street, end of story.

While i'm here, i'm going to reiterate a point I made previously just to piss the noobs off; fuck CJ, fuck Tommy, fuck Claude, fuck Niko. They won't be returning. They all died when a bus load of AIDS patients hit them as they were crossing the street together.

Niko is still alive, he's part of the modern era. It's quite possible we might see him in GTA V. Maybe not as a main character, but as an easter egg.

  6. Without customization, vehicles are nothing special. In IV, there was practically an unlimited number of Turismos, and in TBOGT the same applied with the Infurnus. That's what sucks with vehicles, there was no value in keeping them.

In SA you could pimp your ride, but then you would never drive it in fear of some maniac crashing into it and destroying it (at least that's what I thought).

  7. I could really go for a huge penthouse over looking the ocean, or a mansion on the ocean. Something with a sweet view

I think there should be a large variety of housing, really displaying the true nature of each area of Los Santos.

e.g: Houses in Ganton (If it's still there) poor, cheap, bad quality, dangerous... Then houses in Vinewood, what you said.

  9. I know i might be "nobody special" but I'm a huge Grand theft auto fan I just love the series anyways.....the protagonist might easily be Tommy Vercetti from the Grand theft auto:Vice city tough Claude is already there and Niko will be flying to San Andreas doesn't that leave most of the protagonists in one so my guess is this might even be the last Grand theft auto so the wait will be worth it..

Correction for tough I mean though Sorry..

Rockstar has denied on several occasions the return of GTA III characters, unless it's in easter eggs and stuff like that.
