  2. During my second playthrough for guides (http://www.ireddead.com/guides/) I tried to note the mission tree structure. It's not perfect or complete and is mostly "forward" if you know what I mean but here's what I have. Maybe people from the wikia will find it useful.

??? = questionable, some missions take an in-game day to appear after the previous so I'm not sure if the mission I just did triggered the next or the mission I had done prior did.

Arena War - Coming December 11 to GTA Online

    e6f7edd99c0034f2dda3423e649e0475f1f4ed1e

Enter Arena War, where ruthless gladiatorial combat meets the bleeding-edge of vehicular modification technology in one spectacular – and highly combustible – competition. Sign up and embark on an entirely new career under the stratospheric dome of the Maze Bank Arena, one that involves turning your opponent’s brains into pulp on the steering wheel in the name of entertainment, courtesy of Alan Jerome Productions.

Compete in all new vehicle types custom built for the Arena across seven explosive new modes. As your Arena War career progresses, you’ll earn Arena Points and use them to rank up and unlock even more toys to take into the Arena or out onto the streets.

Arena War is coming tomorrow, Tuesday December 11 to GTA Online.

  4. Surprise! Trying to fulfill their promise of a November release, Rockstar Games will begin launching the Red Dead Online Beta starting tomorrow! It will be introduced to the masses in stages so check below to see when you can take part.

    Image

"Built from the ground up for the latest hardware, Red Dead Online blends the classic multiplayer of the original Red Dead Redemption with the best of everything we have learned since then about creating deep multiplayer experiences. The result is something completely new and fun, and an experience that will continue to expand and evolve over time."

    A VIBRANT OPEN WORLD
With the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 as its foundation, Red Dead Online transforms the vast and deeply detailed landscapes, cities, towns and habitats of Red Dead Redemption 2 into a new, living online world ready to be shared by multiple players. Create and customize your character, tailor your abilities to suit your play style and head out into a new frontier full of things to experience.

Explore the world solo or with friends. Form or join a Posse to ride with up to seven players; gather around the fire at your Camp; head out hunting or fishing; visit bustling towns; battle enemy gangs and attack their hideouts; hunt for treasure; take on missions and interact with familiar characters from across the five states; or fight against other outlaws in both spontaneous skirmishes and pitched set-piece battles; compete with other players or whole Posses in open world challenges and much more.

    BETA PERIOD AND ACCESS
The launch of the Red Dead Online Beta is the first step in what will be a continually expanding and dynamic world, and the beta period will allow us to deal with the inevitable turbulence of launching any online experience of this size and scale.

During this process, we will be looking to our dedicated community to help us report and fix problems, share ideas, and assist in shaping the future of the full Online experience. As with all of our releases, we will strive to make the launch of Red Dead Online the best it can possibly be, and we ask that the community share that spirit with us over the next weeks and months.

To help us ease into the beta and to mitigate major issues, we will begin the early access period starting Tuesday, November 27 at 8:30am EST, and gradually scale the player base up to full access beginning on Friday, November 30. This will help ensure that our servers can handle a steadily growing volume of concurrent players in the early hours and first days of the Beta and hopefully reduce the likelihood of any server crashes during the launch week as we get things up and running. Full rollout details are as follows:

    • Tuesday, November 27th: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.
    • Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.
    • Thursday, November 29th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.
    • Friday, November 30th: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Red Dead Online Beta will be available to anyone who owns Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One starting Friday, November 30. When booting up Red Dead Redemption 2 and arriving to the title menu, you will see an option in the top right of the screen to select Online.

  5. I'm on the fence with that. Plenty of people would have loved to have been John again but it was kind of nice to see a different perspective from someone new. We didn't know anything about Arthur going into it (mainly because he didn't exist when RDR1 was written). Realistically they could have made the game about Charles or Sadie too. Sadie obviously had a lot going after the gang split. Maybe she'll be Rockstar's first female protag in the next game.

  6. For anyone that's finished the game and been through the credits (which should have its own trophy :P )

    Thoughts?

For me: Good story and amazing music as usual. Graphics are top notch. Chapter 5 was beautiful to see. Combat is my only real complaint. At least Slate was honest about it. Kind of bad when that's the major part of the gameplay. I didn't care for the simulation shit either but at least you aren't force-fed to do it all the time. It definitely helps in a pinch if you want to have full capabilities. There were glitches/bugs along the way but not a lot. A few unforseen issues as well like getting trapped between a character's horse and a tent. Had to spin around a few times to get loose. Early in the game there were a few scripted movements that messed with the environment during cutscenes (placement of myself usually) so it kind of broke the fourth wall a little.

    I'd probably give it a 90/100.

  7. A lot of shit in this chapter. Splitting this up since there are a few different things between the beginning and end. If you don't completely understand the title, don't open the spoiler.

    Guarma

Holy fucking shit this place looks beautiful. :scared: I can't believe they put all of this land into a handful of missions. Goes way too quick. I highly doubt we'll get this place again in the story or ever in RDO (except for maybe as a game mode map, it seems fitting). Fuck it was lovely to look at.

    0_0.jpg

Awesome to see that island from the leak map was actually what we thought it might be. Funny to see it got turned from an island into just a chunk of coastal land we can't see the rest of.

    Home sick

    Mission:

    A fork in the road

Not sure what this means for later. They are pretty much telling you what's going to happen but maybe it won't actually happen in this game. Although there is 2 epilogue chapters so who knows. Makes me wonder...
