  1. a lot of that had to do with being locked on to targets in combat... while the combat system was awesome in 1 and 2, it started to wear thin and became clunky as the years passed...i like that there isn't an auto lock system either, i will miss it for taking out roof units, but i wont miss it for CQC... i am sure the tomahawks, pistols and rifles work well for long distance.. i like how we live through his life, just like we did in ACII, becoming the legendary ezio auditore da firenze... now we get to become the legendary... ummm... uhhh, ra-ratohnhake:ton-something.... looking forward to it...
  2. holy fuck sticks!! here's a tidbit of info from the leaked game informer cover story... http://www.g4tv.com/...k-28-fbfantrack this sounds like a whole new approach to the game, taking place in new york and boston... and a "bigger than brotherhood" wilderness to explore, because massacre was right, he's half-half... he can hide in trees, hunting for pelts or unsuspecting enemies... he's in the thick or numerous historical events like the new york fire and probably the boston tea party stuff too... this all sounds fucking sweet to me ... i do love this era of american history, it's one of the most interesting...
  3. abstergo was set in america i thought... the doctor and that lady doctor spoke american i thought...
  4. awwwww yyyeeeaaaa... http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/721339/assassins-creed-3-screenshots-leak/?cmpid=sn-110418-facebook-28-fbfantrack
  5. that hatchet also resembles the assassin's seal ...
  6. i hear that... that was a good breakdown actually.. that's fucking brilliant...
  7. ahh good point about the indian vision stuff... i wasn't even saying he had to be european though, just that maybe a generation or two back, someone from the bloodline immigrated to america and settled in here... he might speak like an american, but who is very spiritual and hangs with indians... however, playing as an indian right after the formation of the united states would represent a fresh perspective on the era... that's why i liked the saboteur... it offered a fresh look on WW2, as an irishmen helping the french resistance oust the nazis from paris...
  8. not for me... i started to get bored playing revelations, because it felt like brotherhood, which felt like ACII, and started to become a chore after i unlocked the dens... i am glad that there's been a 3 year development cycle... they claim the game was built from the ground up, which hopefully can bring us new gameplay... i am pretty sure there's going to be a bit of a 3rd person shooter element added, which could be a great change of pace to the usual sneak-kill-sneak-divert-hide... there might be a few sequences where you've just got to shoot your way out... i wonder if he's going to be native american though... i am not sold on that yet, but it's possible... maybe ezio's kid mixes it up with one... or they could just be a part of the immigration boon of the era, and came over and lived in the colonies for a couple generations... the assassins creed could of disappeared for a few generations while the templars regrouped in america... or the ezio family could still be running things in masyaf while children flock around the globe, possibly setting up other assassin stories to tell...
  9. they said they've built it from the ground up, so it might feel quite different... i hope it isn't that different, but i am glad that there will be changes... i am stoked, it's what i predicted, and i can't wait to dive into the great american conspiracy!! EDIT: ha, i also won another prediction... that we'd hear about ACIII before we heard anything new on GTAV...
  10. i want to find a way into this abandoned shack just south of solitude, in the marsh... says i need a key, so i assume it's tied to a quest... is skyrim like fallout in that, if you find an unclaimed place, you can call it home??
  11. ^^says the guy who wont be playing... i don't care to be honest, but on an island like that, it would keep the action fast...
  12. dude, the free masons were barely touched on in history, but it's one of those facts that stuck with me in school... i remember the masons and their secret society, even though it was a brief mention... fuck, even nick cage played a role in a movie that touched on some of that (in the 1st one ONLY)... it's always stuck with me, the free masons, a cult kinda like the "skull and bones" group from yale... hell, they might be the recreation of the masons for all we know... at the end of revelations;
  13. why annoyed?? the templars disappeared out of the record books until they emerged as the free masons in america... and in the current time period of assassin's creed, they are called abstergo, a scientific corporation... they changed their name a few times... and it seems like they jumped a century here, but it's still within the time frame... and now i am almost certain it will be in either philly, or like you said, DC...
  14. http://ps3.ign.com/a.../1219745p1.html hmm, seems like a "i told you so" doesn't hold that much weight... apparently it's been the popular prediction... since i don't frequent gaming sites anymore, i didn't know that... but i always said it made the most sense... it's still a leak though, not confirmed... i can see it now, paul revere riding down the streets screaming, "the assassins are coming!! the assassins are coming!!" ...
  15. @massacre - you should really of been working on enchanting and smithing... it allows you to create and mold your own weapons and armor, enchanted the way you want them... i understand that being a sneak-thief doesn't allow you the ability to carry tons of equipment and ores from mining, but using them up at a smithing location before storing or selling surely helps to build up the skill... i am probably doing a sneak-thief rouge next, and i will still be doing smithing and enchanting from the beginning... now that i know what's needed for smithing, i will be doing as often as possible, perhaps even in caves if there is a bench... @viceman - yea, no glitches or exploits on this file... i might try the daedric book glitch on my next file, but i really never take advantage of stuff like that... i always play legit, i don't like breaking a game...
  16. hmm, ohh well... i also got suspended from the college during an attack when i struck one of the teachers... that'll teach them to just let the dragonborn deal with it... i've officially created my final armor (*see attachment and sorry for abusing the new camera)... i also have a badass bow called "daedric bow of oblivion.." ^ via imagic v2.1
  17. i found QD a new lock screen image... ^ via imagic v2.1
  18. it's more than the PS3's turnout monday... maybe some of you showed up, but marney wasn't there to connect the dots...
  19. wow, they really don't know how to do DLC... at all...
  20. tell me this ain't the coolest ipod background?? ^ via imagic v2.1
  21. whatever... i would prefer auto aim on, but if it isn't then i guess i will just run people other... also, i am still not sure if i will be present next monday... i will try though...
  22. ohh marney, viceman says you're a cunt... i would suggest auto-aim being on, and the location changed to alderney or that island reachable from algonquin, the one from the mission "white storm"... man, i have forgotten all the locations, lol...
  23. i usually wait for the door to close after someone enters before i attempt to enter... i don't think i've ever caught it before where i had to close it to enter it... i had to use the 3rd person camera, spinning it around the college door just to find the prompt to close it... i thought i wasn't going to be able to the enter the college until i remembered the old fallout 3 "lucky shades" trick ...
  24. finally someone else is taking pictures... ------------ had a funny/weird glitch last night... it was during the mages college questline... basically the town got attacked (not spoiling it) but after the battle was over all the town doors were cracked open, including the college... i had to close them before i could enter them...
  25. not sure how often it will occur, but if tonight was any indication, no one is really interested right now... did we used to do it monthly, or twice a month?? i couldn't remember... me and vicey tied... we just kept killing ourselves...
