    i come from the time when webTV was kinda popular and a cheaper alternative to a computer... it was my first internet and it's also where i learned basic HTML, enough to build a bland website by today's standards... my first username was DDP007 ... diamond dallas page and james bond all rolled into one... i was pimp... here's one of the earliest websites i visited... http://www.draac.com/ taught me how to recognize code to build my own webpage... seriously, who didn't have an angelfire webpage?!

    i liked darts, and i am an avid golfer so i definitely played that... but there was also turf wars and drug dealing... there's plenty of stuff to add to the fun, so why would you be upset that they added tennis?? get a grip folks, you can't always get what you want... at least they're trying to immerse you in the world of los santos... i'll gladly play some tennis at the local country club if that's what ned luke wants to do...

    remember shooting a basketball in san andreas?? i don't care if i have to kick around a hacky sack in some QTE based activity for a while, or try to dance for a few minutes... tennis ain't so bad (if it's even an activity like massacre said), but you can bet your ass i will play whatever activity they give us... as for friends, it's already been said... it's optional... they just add to the activity, makes it feel like you're hanging out with the people you get to know, or already know... sure roman seemed to call all the time, but every now and then you gotta pick him up if you're not doing anything... the taxi service made that super easy to handle... didn't TBOGT turn the phone calls off, and instead giving you the option to call them??

    this is way too general of a topic... it could be it's own forum category, so i recommend a lock... movies are movies, either talk about a specific movie, or start a topic about a certain genre or actor/actress or time period... make the discussion interesting, not so damn bland...

    this nigga knows what i'm talking 'bout... the small towns like blueberry and palamino creek should be enough to satisfy us, especially if the metropolis of los santos is roughly the size of GTA4's version of libery city... we don't need the hippies from san fierro, we have modern weed laws in LA... we don't need the desert of las venturas when we have death valley... gambling?? please, even roman was gambling in liberty city... now tennis?? say hello to "R* presents Table Tennis" ... that's what i am all for... i want stuff to do in this sandbox... fuck it, i'll play tennis, or calling up my buddy for a set or two... more empty space just adds to more disappointment IMO...

    i really think, and going back to R*'s first official statement about GTAV, is that this is los santos and the surrounding countryside and beaches... if you're looking for san fierro or las venturas, then i think you're barking up the wrong tree, and will be disappointed when it's not there... i know i've said this before, but i think las venturas could be an entirely new game in itself...

    these screens are quite impressive, i still can't get over the parachuting one, it does have that skyrim open world feel to it, like where does that trail take you?? ... i haven't had a chance to really look at them closely, and i won't until later tonight... but as far as what to expect in the next batch... transport, leisure, nightlife??

    wow, you're a wizard with those pic breakdowns... i really thought i was right... perhaps there's a broadcast tower out that way?? i don't think an observatory would have a blinking light... or maybe it's my first thought, an incoming missile?? ...

    yup... i am not proclaiming i am right, i just feel like i am ... it's an educated guess... i just think the lights you see on the wings are actually lights from the buildings down below...

    Usually planes have flashing lights on their wings, tail, and fuselage to identify the aircraft at night. Its most likely that (but they didn't put the physical light like on the helicopters in IV). Yeah I gathered that much, but where is the light? just to throw something new out there, could that light perhaps be from an incoming missile?? i mean, this jet seems to be loaded with some missiles too, who's to say that isn't an incoming heat seeker from a military base or other jet?? it's rather typical to see them flashing red as they track down their target... you know what, i think i might of figured out the red light... amiright or amiright?? Yes urright & urright... LOL looking back a couple of pages i spotted synch mentioning something about a tower... i really do think he's right, it almost reflects the same view from the plane that flew over the vinewood sign at the end of the debut trailer... and dupz0r's right, they're re-using the same areas, to not reveal much besides the minor things they want us to see at the forefront of the new screens... Thats a very good observation but also another thought.... if you look in the back of the jet it looks like there are lights. but i dunno its late. lol the light seems to be reflecting from the far left of the pilot... it's drawing across too much of the plane, therefor, i think it really is a tower maybe 50 yards away from the wing...

EDIT: also, i think i might spy a bike lane on the cheetah pic too... it's a much narrower lane...

    i had one really epic kill and one really epic death... the death was when i tried to chase down gtagrl through a back alley and just before i hit her, i ran over a gas canister and blew up!! ... and using that same canister, i blew up jamie who was trying to sneak around the corner to get me... it's fun, i just wish more people played...
