  1. i take back what i said somewhere about it not doing anything for me being this close to release... i just watched the trailer in HD on my PC... damn it looks good...
  2. lol yea i'm still struggling with the embededness as well... just seeing the world in motion certainly looks fun... and now that we have this trailer, i don't need any more info from rockstar... let's just roll on to the 26th...
  3. i'm not as hyped for this one, i'm basically just waiting for the game at this point... anything they show me right now isn't gonna pump me up... i feel like we're already gonna know everything they show in it, with maybe a surprise... less than a month to go now...
  4. i remember when i was excited over the GTAV adverts... these do nothing for me anymore lol...
  5. yea it's one of those rumors spreading around the internet thanks to those other fan sites... i think it's a fake, because there's really no point in multiple discs anymore... and even it were 2 discs, the box wouldn't have to be any bigger than a normal box... bad photoshopping, no doubt about it... also, if it were that thick, we would of been told about that version having a music disc, making of video, and something else... i have a james bond collection and one of the boxes that is that thick has like 5 discs in it lol...

if you can earn the currency in game, then of course the item(s) will be priced just enough to get you to consider buying currency, that's how a market works... if there's something cool i really want, i might pony up for it, i've done it with games before... some people think that they have to have everything when they're only just giving you options, options that you don't even have to get and it won't effect the game in any way... rockstar completely fucked their shit up in the last 3 years... selling you items that, like you said, literally cost $100... and these items are quite beneficial for people that are trying to make money, therefor, they become must haves... then that drove the rest of the market into more expensive counter items and more grindy same old bullshit jobs to keep you playing their game forever, or buy their cards (or glitch free money like most of iGTA lol)... if bethesda just sticks to their guns on just cosmetic stuff (like kind of what fortnite does with skins) but keeps the price reasonable, then i will have no problem with forking over a few bucks for quest packs, smaller DLCs, and huge far harbor ones too when the time comes for adding serious content to the game...

that's pretty standard nowadays... nothing about that statement surprises me... it's just cosmetics anyways, not a pay to win thing...

call of duty and battlefield do betas every year... i never buy them, but i always hear about them... it's usually a weekend thing... of course, they know what they're doing as far a stability is concerned... i guess bethesda wants us to test their servers for a couple weeks and see if we can break them lol... sadly i am not sure if they're too concerned about gameplay at the moment lol... i'm sure improvements to that will come over the months and years... i know there's gonna be issues with 76, but if it is enjoyable, i'll be in it for the long run...

i'll find time, i just took the rest of the week off from my job ... since they're setting specific windows to game in, it'll give me time to keep playing RDR2 while getting ready for the window from bethesda... i'll be fine with it for the most part... the good thing is it sounds like this BETA is gonna last for a couple of weeks, which you don't see that often...

BETA starts on fallout day, october 23 for xbox... then on the 30th for PS4 and PC... a bit later than i expected to be honest... https://bethesda.net/en/article/XUtJrgiCgU6WqMASW8w0I/fallout-76-our-future-begins-together-in-beta
  12. ok, i was wondering if it was that figeuro-something building... BREAKING NEWS: RDR2 minimum HD space required: 105 GB... i'm definitely gonna have to buy an external HDD now, there's no way i can have RDR2, fallout 76, GTAV, and hitman 2 all on the same whimpy 500GB HDD my PS4 currently has...
  13. i'm going generic with copper/silver/gold nuggets to purchase to turn to in game currency... maybe diamond too for the larger $100 card...
  14. that is the most majestic looking fox i have ever seen in a video game...

well there are musical instruments in the game, like a tuba and such... i wonder if we can strike up a band... my hope is there's banjos, and we can sit on a porch playing dueling banjos teasing other players passing by, yelling, "where you going, city boy?!"
  16. did sony get a hands on? that's a bit odd going with xbox on this... also you get a folded RDR2 poster with this, people on twitter were buying 5 copies lol... the hype is unreal over there if you hadn't noticed ...
  17. well there ya go... on point as usual...
  18. i figured you were assembling this, so i held off on posting ?... overall, sounds about on par with where i was expecting them to take the single player experience... i didn't gather much new info to be honest, but it was nice to read them go into more detail about how the world works, and how it looked.. ----------- i like the clothing customization, being able to layer the items is a nice refreshing change, and one i hope carries over to online... 1st person confirmed... i thought i read one article mention "stable of horses" meaning, we might be able to have multiple mounts at the same time, which could diminish the bond, but also be effective in getting us another nag who is properly trained on the go... every person you see has dialog options and a schedule, that changes depending on the time of day, or your notoriety... should be fun lol... horse balls do have shrinkage in colder temps lol... also, bundling up morgan in the colder parts of the map is important... food, drink, weapon deterioration, bathing, and bringing back the san andreas style of skinny/fat has given this a bit more of an RPG survival element IMO... someone mentioned a lot of guns require 2 button pushes to fire... one for the shot, and another to cock it back again, which slows the combat more into a wild west style shootout... ------ that's all i got so far that stood out to me... also, i can't wait to hang out in this place after a long hard days work...
  19. i mean, since i'm buying RDR2, i will be spending time online, i just hope it's not heavily pushing the public lobby aspect, because GTAO was a very toxic world with zero repercussions for being a troll in a jet... i hate when public lobbies just turn into deathmatches, i hope they find a way to encourage competitive cooperation instead of just saying, "hey! that gang over there is trying to make it back to their base with supplies, kill them for extra cash and RP!" that shit got old real fast in GTAO... and if that's the case, i'm jumping on some early money glitches so i don't get stuck grinding out gang attacks for $20...
