is setting up an invite only server the only way to keep randoms out? i know if i set up a friends one, other people's friends can join... also, i don't have to be the MC for the events anymore... if you guys want to play something, discuss it before launching it... for the early stages of the event we should do DM/TDM and races... after that, hopefully some of you have big epic mission selections that can cater to a huge group... if not, we can always split up and join up after missions... or whatever... the action that follows the usual matches is all up in the air to be honest... i'm sure there'll be plenty of freeroam mayhem in between ...

on the weekends we lose people as well.. it's almost impossible to cater to everyone it seems... we tried the weekend thing but had better turnouts for the monday night events...

$90?! holy shit is that what new releases cost over there?!? i'd only pay that price for a few games... if it helps though, it grows on you... AC4 is a pretty good addition to the series once you get past the initial change in game focus and direction with open seas exploration over horseback and giant cities... but that's a judgement call on your part... i wouldn't pay $90, but i'd drop $60 any day... perhaps if the add-ons look good, i might eventually accumulate $90 invested... i'd go for it unless you had a rental store... rent it, see what you think... or just replay ACIII naval battles and see if that's what you really want to do, because there's a ton of naval warfare and sea shanties ... seriously, the piracy aspect feels so close to a 3D version of sid meier's pirates!... the only thing lacking was the ever changing merchant market... places to sell sugar at a higher price, and turning small villages into city fortresses... the fortress battles feel just like a 21st century take on sid's turn based strategy for taking over a town ... but the sea battles are just as strategic with vastly upgraded graphics over a game from 20 years ago... this is the best representation of what being a pirate captain is like in video games... seriously, AC needs to drop the pirate gig and move on to a chinese dynasty or something... turn this blag flag franchise into it's own series... you've got the right idea and i love it ...

it's his 4th best CD IMO... behind in no particular order, marshall mathers LP, eminem show, and slim shady LP... it's very close to encore, which had really good songs, but quite a few misses... he was phoning it in on a few... the new em isn't all that bad... all musicans have to find a way to reinvent themselves to stay on top... he's finding his second wind finally... he needs to keep going... i like bad guy, rap god, brainless, legacy, so far, love game, desperation, and berserk as well, one of his better debut singles... basically i like most of the songs, even some of the ones i didn't mention...

why did you guys ignore one the best east coast rap groups in your little evaluation? the beastie boys, nigguh... i'll only say this because i like both east and west... east has better poets, west has better beats... ------- i'm posting here because i am on my 4th pass thru the new eminem CD in the past few days... i like it better than recovery, which i thought was severely overrated... it's better than relapse too, and i'm probably the only one that liked that CD... old slim is much better, but being more humbled hasn't made him any less of a rapper, he still has one of the smoothest flows in rap... in actuality, his last two CD's have spanned across numerous styles of music showing off his vast range as well... people might be sick of hearing about him, but he's still the real deal... he's one of the living legends of rap... he deserves all the praise he gets, and i'll keep listening to anything new he has to offer... his old stuff though, nothing tops it, and on his new CD, you can tell he knows that he'll never find that same magic again... and dre was back on board with this latest one... his style is unmatched in rap, and it's present in the new CD, it's easy to spot which songs he's producing...

i've thought about a new character but i still have a loooong ways to go with my current one... i would totally make a chick too, or maybe a gang banger.... i had too many to post already... i could of threw in these as well ... i believe these are of otiz running from the cops... and there's a shitload of them in that second pic...

i am just about to kingston, so i've traversed the easy and medium waters for the most part... i have spent most of my time sinking ships and upgrading my own ... the story is moving along at a jumbled pace... too much time passing in between sequences i think? or not enough build up to the missions themselves?? dunno... the lore and the feel is there, but the story so far is kind of meh... i hope the assassins and templars story picks up more soon... the combat and naval stuff is where it's at anyways... the cities are better than 3, and the stealth is back... i have still been able to play through most of the game in cover, with the occasional pop out to take down a couple before ducking back into a bush... now boarding a ship is another thing... there's no stealth there unless you want to drop down into the action from above... then there's one or two stealth kills ... and utilizing 4 pistols in the middle of a battle is fun too... harpooning is a bit of a joke i guess... once you put some $$$ into upgrading the boat, there's nothing stopping you from catching anything on the map... it's a pretty east minigame as well... the mammals are too predicable... even hunting feels meh... i want to play something like those arcade hunting games, or even GTAV's hunting experience... not hide in a bush waiting for the creature to predictably walk by, or drop in from a tree branch, which are few and far apart in general hunting areas... what happened to bait and traps? but man, unloading the cannons on some prey never gets old ... stalking ships, following convoys, watching another battle and cleaning up afterwards... it's fucking awesome... sometimes i find myself way off course because i was chasing after some booty ...

hell, i'm wearing rags now... i ditched the garb and sometimes the dialog references the assassins robe when i am not wearing it lol... i am wearing the shark hunter outfit at the moment...

that's why i think it's an epic photo bomb ...
