  1. I'm really looking forward to the heists, but do you think they will also include smaller scale 'heists' like just plain old roberries? Anyone who's played Mafia II- I hope Ammunation is like the gun shops, because it was actually fun to kill the guy in there, rob the register and loot the ammo and guns on display- Other things that don't include preparation like walking down the street and robbing a convenience store at gunpoint might be fun
  2. Hahah thanks, one of the more pleasant and welcoming threads obviously. But a seriously pumped for the game, as all this promo that's going on has me feeling R* won't let us down though they won't meet our somewhat ridiculous demands
  3. This is probably a big thing for most of us but remember: there's a lot of us, and the resources R* have can't go around meeting all of our wants. Everyone expects the game to be something significant although people have different opinions. We can all agree so far that some realism here or there would be great, whilst still keeping that crazy GTA feeling of random, do whatever you want style that we so love. traffic/cars- I played SA and loved it. Didn't get IV, but watching reviews and gameplay, many people talked about "jelly like suspension". This will hopefully be fixed, as I did note a patriot flying through the air after running over a fallen pole. :0 I know it's irrelevant, and useless, but indicators- when, and we have all done it, actually drive carefully in GTA, the NPC's tempt us with their indicators. Just kind of frustrating but not a biggie. More cars, more extensive modding and garages for storing vehicles and loadouts of mods would be pretty realistic (similar to Mafia II). A point that has been touched upon is speeding and reckless driving as well as one star wanted- like mafia II, 1 star should just be a ticket, and cops should be all over your ass should you be blurring past them or damaging city property; though they will only ticket you. Kinda brings back memories of ambulances in SA running over 10 people and destroying several lights just to perform CPR on a guy I just shot through the head. Guns- I know realism is having max ammo oracle capacity of guns- but it's awesome walking around with 200 shots for an RPG and over 2000 bullets for a 9mm pistol. I don't want that to change and would not welcome the challenge of planning my armaments- although a guns storage at home (like the movie Mr. And Mrs. Smith has, teehee) would be Friken awesome- home customization anyone? That's all for now, what are your opinions?
  4. @mrmister81 Yea that would be a cool feature, maybe bring back the whole gang thing through Franklin- taking over other gang territory, calling 3 other guys to get in a car with you and hit and run some enemies- maybe also handy as a possible multiplayer online feature- can just imagine team deathmatch or something with a crew of freaking awesome neon lighted cars with custom vinyls heading straight at you
  5. Oh and another thing that I've seen mentioned before is the modding thing- this has been mentioned before, but I really do like the idea of weapons rooms and also for cars, garages- mods you make to weapons and cars can be saved here, so when you lose that gun, or car, you can pick it back up at your safe house for its cost- that way you don't have to get the gun and go through the trouble of modding it all over again.
  6. The amount of weapons R* puts into the game also correlates to the realism. Is it going to be like Mafia II where walking down the street carrying a tiny ass revolver gets you spotted by a copper 100 yards away? Or is it the comic element like SA where walking around with an RPG has no effect. I apologize if this has come up, or if it has been changed in IV, I never had the pleasure of playing it. I would like to see a wide variety of guns return, but not because I'm a COD freak, but because wide varieties of options are nice. They also differ, and some might be better then others e.g. Aug A3 has a high rate of fire, might be better for clearing out people then G3A3 due to small magazine capacity and slower rate of fire in comparison. (Again, sorry, just got off bf3) Customization will be fun though, looking forward to that- but one thing I do hope to return is named guns- I read that IV just basically has 'pistol' and 'combat pistol' but would be based on real guns like the desert eagle. Be more realistic if they actually used proper names or at least made up realistic sounding names.
  7. I think it would be great if they included everything in car modding from SA and then added more variety. R* have said or I heard it said somewhere that GTA V will have car customization equal to midnight racing club. Personally, I think the ability to free place vinyls anywhere (and a wide variety of them) would be amazing. The stuff that started this forum might've been too much, but some of it like the owning garages, customizing and selling cars- I kinda like the ideas he put there. I think the reason I love this so much is coz i can personalize these awesome cars whose influences i might not be able to afford in real life
