You need Firebug for Firefox. Lets you edit HTML on a page using javascript. So I edited the HTML in the text box and put code in to display images
. Alternatively, you could look for an online demo of "TinyMCE" (text editor). It's what they use but have disabled some of the buttons, but if you create something in the demo, you should be able to copy and paste it into their box and it should work. Pretty dodgy really. Means I could have tables, images, hell probably embed videos or iframes. Which could lead to people stealing cookies or sessions. And therefore hacking someone's account... Hmm... -

Does sound good. You may have convinced me, although I do want resistance 3 as well as FIFA 12. Don't think I can buy them all cos I won't have time to play them all. Might have to rent one or something just to finish single player.

Hmm, I suppose it is tecnhically good to keep all relevant accounts and pages linked in one place, but then their site is basically built in the hopes that you use the other social networks and want to link people to them... Meh. Can't see the point. Would rather have a business card with both my facebook and twitter accounts on than an "about.me" thing.
That said, I might still get one just for the fact I can use it to link to my sites XD

I'm fucking sick of a new social network turning up every 2 weeks. No one's ever going to beat Facebook for the features they bring. No one's going to beat Twitter at what they do. Unless you come up with something new and unique (such as bantr for football chat), don't waste your fucking time! Even Google+ is a waste of time.

Is it easy to play with a controller? Or would a PC gamer prefer to use mouse and keyboard? I might get it on PS3 if any of you want to co-op together.

Anyone played this yet? I'm thinking of getting it but the reviews are mixed. Some like it, some think it's dodgy... Plus with FIFA 12 coming out in like 3 weeks I'm gonna be playing that above anything else...

Nah, barely play my 360 anymore. Only gonna get it on PS3. Too much stuff to do in the game as it is without splitting it over 2 consoles, for example ultimate team.

I'm getting it on PS3 so if anyone else is, add me and I'll give you a thrashing. Or more likely, my all-out-attack approach will cause me to take the lead then lose about 8-1...

I'm waiting for the iPhone 5. Hopefully it'll be worth getting, although given the amount I've spent on accessories, apps and even my car CD player which is specially built to connect to iPhones, I'll probably get it anyway.

I might make a plugin for the site that lets you lot navigate by drooling on the keyboard. That way you won't need to do anything differently

It opens in a new window/tab because I want people to remain on the website homepage as well as having access to the forums. There's no way to have it not open in a new tab though as far as I know. Is it really a big problem having to close a tab?

I coded a mod to override the default forum settings. I'll look into it tonight to make it show the photo if it exists, then the facebook photo, then twitter, then if none of them exist, show the default silhouette.
There. Done.
Ok, so this is how the avatars work now (because of my mod)
1. If you've uploaded a "photo" to your profile, this will show.
2. If there's no photo uploaded manually, but you've linked your Facebook account, your facebook photo will be used.
3. If you haven't done 1 or 2, but you've linked your Twitter account, your twitter photo will be used.
4. If you haven't done any of the above, your photo is the basic silhouette.

I'll look into getting modifications for maybe disliking stuff, but people abused the point of the system on the original forums. It's only there to highlight popular posts, not to make someone look stupid (even though they are a bit of a pedo).
