Anyone played this yet? I'm thinking of getting it but the reviews are mixed. Some like it, some think it's dodgy... Plus with FIFA 12 coming out in like 3 weeks I'm gonna be playing that above anything else...

Nah, barely play my 360 anymore. Only gonna get it on PS3. Too much stuff to do in the game as it is without splitting it over 2 consoles, for example ultimate team.

Anyone getting it? If you pre-order you get some free gold packs for Ultimate Team. I'm getting it on PS3 so if anyone else is, add me and I'll give you a thrashing. Or more likely, my all-out-attack approach will cause me to take the lead then lose about 8-1... http://www.ea.com/uk/game/fifa12

I'm waiting for the iPhone 5. Hopefully it'll be worth getting, although given the amount I've spent on accessories, apps and even my car CD player which is specially built to connect to iPhones, I'll probably get it anyway.

What phones has everyone got? I've got an iPhone 3GS, jailbroken, although I don't have that many apps on it because I mainly use my iPad for playing games now .

I might make a plugin for the site that lets you lot navigate by drooling on the keyboard. That way you won't need to do anything differently

It opens in a new window/tab because I want people to remain on the website homepage as well as having access to the forums. There's no way to have it not open in a new tab though as far as I know. Is it really a big problem having to close a tab?

I coded a mod to override the default forum settings. I'll look into it tonight to make it show the photo if it exists, then the facebook photo, then twitter, then if none of them exist, show the default silhouette. There. Done. Ok, so this is how the avatars work now (because of my mod) 1. If you've uploaded a "photo" to your profile, this will show. 2. If there's no photo uploaded manually, but you've linked your Facebook account, your facebook photo will be used. 3. If you haven't done 1 or 2, but you've linked your Twitter account, your twitter photo will be used. 4. If you haven't done any of the above, your photo is the basic silhouette.

The Focuses over there are probably like monster trucks, just in case you need to give an American a ride. Need enough leg room for their 2 tonne limbs.

I'll look into getting modifications for maybe disliking stuff, but people abused the point of the system on the original forums. It's only there to highlight popular posts, not to make someone look stupid (even though they are a bit of a pedo).

TBH I wasn't expecting a new design, just new features, but it is a major upgrade so I suppose they had to redevelop the theme a bit too. It's a lot smoother and quicker. Unless you're working on a prehistoric PC like Demon...

Re-coded one of my modifications to the forums which displays any photo a member has uploaded before it'll display the boring generic default picture. So if you uploaded a facebook photo, twitter photo or manual avatar/photo, it'll show one of them. If you're still seeing the boring silhouette image, you need to upload a new avatar.

He probably just needs to CTRL+F5 on the page and re-download the javascript. Then it should work for him.

Yeah I had that issue too. I'll look into it Massacre, go to the forum index and press CTRL+F5 (clear your cache). Then try the status update at the top right again. That fixed it for me.
