Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Now i gotta redo it. Yay!
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Why buy a game if you're not going to play it more than once? You're damn right you're going to redo it. Get on that.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I played sr3 about 7 times. Maybe i'll crank up the difficulty this time, Hardcore time .
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 The only thing I had difficulty with was the hard level of Super Power Fight Club, but I hadn't unlocked the Death from Above power yet. That made it easier, though I still don't have gold.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 This time i think i will take it easy. Get a bunch of Cashe and get the upgrades early in the game, and the gun upgrades.
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I fully upgraded my shotgun (the basic, pump-action shotgun) early on, then bought the ammo upgrades as they became available. I can one-shot one of the robots, the ones that look like the Terminator. Glorious, glorious shotgun.
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 If you're going for the Epic Jump Quest trophy, note that you can run and jump from the side of a building, just make sure you don't touch the rooftops or the Zin's floating platforms. I think the floating towers fuck it up, too. Also, it's much easier if you go from the nuke plant to the casino than vice versa.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Well it's seems like a good game to get my first platinum trophy. Yup i'm on a quest to 100%.
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I got to 94% just by doing all the side quests as I did the main ones.
Mercy 30 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 got this late yesterday, I'm only 30% through but epic game so far. I'm doing all the side quests as I go and some other stuff; I love the hacking parts, I'm the bomb at those so far! The super powers are great. Such fun. Reminds me of Twilight, yes I'm sad. GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I am astonished and happy that nobody's regretting their purchase. Looks like I'll have to pick this up used 'n' cheap somewhere up the road.
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Reminds me of Twilight, yes I'm sad. QD. Spider monkey. Scruffy-looking nerf-herder. I am astonished and happy that nobody's regretting their purchase. Looks like I'll have to pick this up used 'n' cheap somewhere up the road. I have my gripes. It feels like there isn't much to do after you finish the main game, unlike the previous games in the series.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Hm...Is the replay value enough to counter the lack of post-completion tasks?
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Well, the side quests involve doing the 'diversions' from previous games, and several new versions. You do them, with dialogue from the other characters, and in return you get far better rewards than you did in previous games. So good, that you do all of these side quests alongside the main game, and they're all finished by the time you've beaten the main game.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 This game is turning out to (allegedly) be a lot less shitty than I expected it to be. I regret my prejudice. Thanks for the info, Mass.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 27, 2013 It's weird this game seems easier on hardcore.

narcolepsy 581 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 That's a waste of a perk in Fallout. I maxed out @ 100 in all skills but if I'd taken wild wasteland I wouldn't have done it.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted November 23, 2013 Random thought: What if the reason the games are becoming progressively more ludicrous because the protag is still in a coma from the first one.....
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted November 23, 2013 Great, now I have to learn to live with that. Would be a nice setup for the inevitable reboot, but people would be pissed about the emotional investment they had in the previous games, with Carlos' death, and later Johnny's. Still, seeing a redesigned Stilwater on next gen tech would be quite the consolation.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted November 23, 2013 Maybe they could have a prequel of some kind eventually. But yeah i'm a little homesick since they left Stilwater.
