  6. That's a sweet ass guitar for sure. I dunno man it is so hard to pick something like that! For me its more about the instrument for sure. I'd love to have a really old black les paul custom like late 50s or late 50s tobacco strat. Always wanted those two!!! I love a lot of artists guitars though. Even some of those early franken strat guitars Eddie Van Halen plays are pretty cool. I've made a couple myself out of parts from dif guitars (sometimes shit breaks and i save the unbroken stuff for parts) Jimmy Page has a couple of really early les pauls that are pretty sweet!
  7. Werd, I'll make some sound clips soon. Been recording a lot this week and next week also. (also building my rig up to handle the synth lol. made a new road case also) This is the actual synth unit on the floor on the right. the left is my usual pedal board setup. on the gigs i use the synth i use both. The funkay sideways pedal is a tuner that cuts the guitar signal completely if needed. The midi foot controller on the left is to control my rack effects (rack is back with the amps)
  8. I use a ernie ball stereo volume pedal to mix it however loud i want with the original guitar signal. It's a pretty neat setup actually that I'm using right now. I use a soldano decatone for the right main channel and a marshall jcm 800 50 watt for the left channel. The trick was making some custom switches to make both of the amps switch from clean/dirty at the same time. (because the marshall uses old skewl switches and the soldano uses electronic switching)
  9. It's a midi pickup! Basically makes your guitar just about any instrument. Here's a link to a demo of one. They are pretty neat!
  10. Nice man! Now play that sukka at least an hour a day!!
  11. I havent been lifting any weights in a while but I exercise often. I do pullups and pushups and leg lifts, along with mtn biking and canoeing/kayaking. I can do 15 pullups and around 60 pushups on any given day. (I'm 6' 3" tall and 202 lbs.)
  12. I may be able to help with music or with sounds. I have a pretty decent studio at my place. Let me know some specifics on what you want.
  13. How long til PC now? lol, I'm thinking maybe april fools day.
  14. This become a River guitar yesterday. I wanted something with a floyd rose style bridge to beat on live. http://imgur.com/a/zfCZi
  15. Totally my thing! I do make it up that way every now n then. About to do some traveling here in a bit. Pretty much anywhere away from the masses where things are forgotten or falling apart = fun for photography. That was my ex gf in the pics btw lol.
  16. Here's a link to an album of photos mostly from Ohio that I took. http://imgur.com/a/TgIXA
  17. Heres a couple more pics of that RG550. (i play it live more than any other guitar! stays in tune better than any other is why haha) http://imgur.com/a/CX1kF
  18. One of the guitars i play the most live I bought for 75 bucks used at a pawn store. It was spray painted completely green when i got it lol. (over the frets and shit too! was nasty!! It's that 1984 Ibanez RG550. I painted it a long time ago right after i bought it. (has a black crackle paint on it now with smeared colors underneath the crackle, mirror pickguard)
  19. Thanks man! Yeah there's no way I'd everrrrr sell that guitar. I've owned it for a really long time. I broke it many years ago and kept it broken for like 10 years in a case? Started fixing it a little at a time and finally got done haha. I get attached to guitars for sure. If I really like one its staying with me forever. That said ive sold a lot also when I get one and dont like it for whatever reason. That sounds cool for your customization ideas. I pretty much fuck up every guitar i own eventually so I dont think about it like its a perm thing. Its like a tool to do shit with! I've broken a few hammers also haha. (but ive never repaired a hammer!!! but a few guitars lol)
