  1. Made some Eggplant Parmesan today. Thin sliced and breaded eggplant, layered with little sauce, ricotta, and a mix between mozzarella and smoked mozzarella.

The smoked mozzarella was my idea, and the pork store had it fresh this morning so I figured I'd try it since I never had it.

I personally prefer my Parmesan dishes with less sauce, and this was one of the best ways I've ever had it.

Here's my first attempt at a food-porn shot.

    looks rather... dry.

also, squash sucks. Liberal's Lasagna perhaps.

    It wasn't dry at all.

    Also, I didn't use squash?

  3. I'm only about 6% into the story, not very far but I've gotten a general feel of what it may be about. The historical setting is great, a huge difference from IV but it you can feel its roots back to ACII being in a historical city again. The graphics are beautiful, and the story seems somewhat interesting. In the beginning before you started the late 1700's story you played a quick mission in 1300's Paris, I guess to set the tone. That setting was actually really cool, and I wish they would go back in time again to the 1300's or so. I've come into the modern story line two or three times, with you trying to find something before Abstergo does. The familiar voices of other modern day characters are there occasionally. I'll post more as I get further into the story. So far I like it.

  4. Finished AC:IV, what a simple yet great ending to the game. It always makes me sad when a game such as that ends, it just was really a great and even upbeat story. Would have liked to see Anne Bonny and Kenway get together, thought it was bound to happen.

  5. Lol Brian. The only thing that bothers me about weed is the smell. I'll be I town or whatever and I'll catch a little smell of weed and it makes me want to hurl. I don't know how you guys do it.

I've smelled it twice, unburned it was eh, then when I was in school the other day and someone lit up it smelled like rotten beer or something.

  6. 60 degrees today, but it snowed on this plant.

I have a feeling it was because of you, but I had a dream that weed grew on "Manhattan trees" and that all over the place there were trees with perfect buds on them, I mean like regular trees. I don't even smoke and I was happy.

  7. The only reason I don't have an iPhone is because I can't personally justify buying something that is more expensive and get no pros out of it. Both operating systems have matured, except one is always bundled in a more expensive way, and like Indy pointed out, I like being able to install torrent downloading apps, have applications that simplify torrent searches and just generally illegally download crap.

I'm sure you have contract prices in England that dramatically reduce the price to something like $199, $299, $399, etc.

I'll keep saying it, after a year or two if you want to upgrade to a newer iPhone, I've gotten all my money back, if not more which went to the newer model by selling it. You can go with the cheap plastic phone with upgrades that are periodic and random (I still like the Android OS, my grandpa had an HTC before switching to the iPhone and I thought it was really cool) or a quality built phone with yearly scheduled updates and regular bug fixes.

  8. So I finally got my 6 Plus today. Here's a quick run down of my thoughts.

When I first saw the box, I could already tell the size difference, but when I actually opened it it felt like an entire new thing to me. Goodbye small phones, I'll never be going back.

The 6 Plus feels like a very luxury phone, despite the fact it's made out of metal compared to glass, it isn't heavy at all. It feels better in the hands than my 5s, 4s, or 3Gs. The "edges" are also really tapered down so they curve in line with the phone flawlessly.

Resolution of the screen is incredible.

Typing is a lot easier with a larger keyboard, I make less typos than I did with the smaller phones.

The camera looks great, I'll be sure to share some photos as time comes.

All in all, this is my favorite iPhone to date, and finally switching to 64GB to 32GB feels nice. Seeing 58GB free after downloading apps and whatever else is definitely welcoming.

  9. He was so proud all those 2 years ago.

If there are good deals on PS4 for Black Friday I might jump over sooner than planned. Even if there's a PS4+Vita bundle worth the discount I may partake.

It was immature, but I was also a kid. Once you get out of that part PS3 or Xbox, you've got a solid community on both consoles, but I merely preferred Xbox because it was easier to talk to people since you didn't have to be in the same game.

  10. So know that the PS4 has the party party, are you switching Brian?

Edit: Just noticed ch-at is changed to party. I know I'm late since I haven't been active.

Nah, I prefer the Xbox community, and the UI. Plus I've put more time into Xbox live over PSN. Had a PS3, 360 was steps above in performance and community (mostly thanks to the party feature). Just used to Xbox now.
