  1. Just noticed this and not sure if it's old news or not but there are two different dams? You can see the one on the right in the screencap but it looks a lot different than the Land Act Dam we seen in the gameplay trailer and screenshot..

Nah man haha I also thought this. But no, those two are the same dams.

Or at least thats what I heard! But I kinda hope now thats theres two.. the more structures the better!

That same dam is in the gameplay trailer when the Private Jet flies over it. You mean you're telling me Rockstar changed the complete layout of that dam that close to launch? No they didn't. There's definitely 2 dams.

from what i can find la only has 1 dam

the pic i left is likely based on this real life dam as the one in la is called Mulholland Dam and is located in hollywood, it has hollywood Reservoir behind it (also known as lake hollywood)

Los Angeles County has at least 116 dams.

  2. It's not popularity, is how good it fits the content of the trailer. Is not like all the songs from previous trailers were popular.

Trailer 1: The LP Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces (title track used in the trailer) was UK Albums Chart's number-one album for three months in 1968

Trailer 2: Skeletons by Stevie Wonder was Billboard's #1 Black single for two weeks in 1987

Trailer 3: Radio Ga Ga by Queen topped out at #16 on Billboard in 1984; Hood Gone Love It appeared on Jay Rock's album Follow Me Home which peaked at #83 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums in 2011; Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way by Waylon Jennings was Billboard's # Country single for one week in 1975

I wouldn't say any of the previous songs were unpopular.

  5. Play Bioshock Infinite, but this time its Rapture and not Columbia!

    Play as Booker? Check.
Need to get Elizabeth out of the city? Check.
The city hasn't fallen yet, but it's about to? Check.

It's the same plot, just underwater...why didn't they make a Vox Populi DLC?

I mean, don't get me wrong...I'm going to get this, but did we really need to go back to Rapture when we've still got the entire city of Columbia waiting for us?

  6. So I've placed my order for GTA 5, which I'm sure 98.7 % of you have done as well. My question is this. If for instance I purchase the base model GTA ($60.00) would I in turn have to purchase all the extra amenities found in the collectors edition VIA downloadable content or would It only be available to those who purchased the collectors edition.? Another question I have is if in fact it is only available to those who purchase the collectors edition wouldn't that effect online play.? This is just something I've just recently wondered on. anyone's take and/or opinions are appreciated.

9 times out of 10 downloadable content that was 'exclusive' to a special edition of a game is made available later to all users of the same as normal DLC. See LA Noire for example.

The real benefit of buying the Special/Collector's Editions is day one use of the DLC and the actual physical objects like the art book and the blueprint map.

Whether or not that's something that appeals to you is just something you'll have to decide for yourself.

  7. R* is usually so limiting on what they release, I cant imagine that they would release extensive gameplay footage. Of course, I am shocked that they are releasing any gameplay footage. I really dont know what to think about that.

Yeah, I don't want to see too much either. And if we didn't want to, we can't 'just not watch them' because information and pictures of them would be all over the internet.

Exactly, you would have to pretty much ignore this site and most of your regular internet locations for the next few months.

There's no choice then. You'll just have to freeze yourself until September.

    See ya then! :)

In other news, is this the first time gameplay footage for an upcoming GTA game has been released? Mein memory ist getting foggy.

Outside of gameplay clips in trailers and on the game's websites...yes.

However this sounds like something different, and full gameplay 'trailer' like what we've been seeing from the
