  1. I do find it such an interesting ship. I don't think if the Allure of the seas sank, it would have the same Allure (See what I did there?) to people to it's history like the Titanic did.

It would probably depend on how many filthy rich people when down with it. :)

  2. So the Titanic sank 100 years ago this week (April 15th 1912)....

This is March 9th, you're about 30 days off.

I was going to say that, lol

But anway I've always been interested in the Titanic, ever since I played that old

back when I was in middle school. Wouldn't mind seeing one of those exibits either...if only there was one nearer than Pigeon Forge, TN or Atlanta, GA...cause Pigeon Forge is through the mountains, and I'll be damned if I'm driving in Atlanta.

  3. Don't donate to these people. <_<

The organization behind Kony 2012 — Invisible Children Inc. — is an extremely shady nonprofit that has been called ”misleading,” “naive,” and “dangerous” by a Yale political science professor, and has been accused by Foreign Affairs of “manipulat[ing] facts for strategic purposes.” They have also been criticized by the Better Business Bureau for refusing to provide information necessary to determine if IC meets the Bureau’s standards.

Additionally, IC has a low two-star rating in accountability from Charity Navigator because they won’t let their financials be independently audited. That’s not a good thing. In fact, it’s a very bad thing, and should make you immediately pause and reflect on where the money you’re sending them is going.

By IC’s own admission, only 31% of all the funds they receive go toward actually helping anyone [pdf]. The rest go to line the pockets of the three people in charge of the organization, to pay for their travel expenses (over $1 million in the last year alone) and to fund their filmmaking business (also over a million) — which is quite an effective way to make more money, as clearly illustrated by the fact that so many can’t seem to stop forwarding their well-engineered emotional blackmail to everyone they’ve ever known.

  4. I've never been big on Christanity, but i don't disrespect Christians, I have a question though. What happens to people who live in places untouched by Christanity? Do they go to hell even know they don't know who Jesus/and or God is? I mean no Disrespect in this question i am just curious.

I'm not religious, but I do live in the South. So that's more than enough qualification, right? :v

As far as I understand, that's more or less correct. Heaven is for good people who have been saved, and everyone else goes to hell no matter other mitigating circumstances. In fact if you follow a strict interpretation of what most Christians believe almost nobody would get into heaven...Christian or not.

But then again it's not too different then all other religions that have a good/bad afterlife belief system. Either you're a good member of the faith or to the bad afterlife you go.

  5. I wouldn't expect to see a DLC-only major title released on this generation of consoles...mostly because they wouldn't be able to make as much money doing it that way.

If its DLC then they lose out on any customers without high-speed internet connections, people who have high speed but no XBox Live, and people with older PS3s and 360s with little to no HDD space to save such a large game to.

  6. *moved to Other GTA Games*

They aren't popular because GTA didn't blow up until GTA III and most people by then couldn't go back to playing top-down games by that point.

Also it's ludicrous to think they'd put them in GTA V...those are long full games. The only games I'd expect to see are more arcade style games like you see in San Andreas and IV.

  7. yeah, im interested in how things will look with more detail

Well, they'll look more detailed of course.

But really though, outside of landmarks in and of themselves its not exactly the same Los Santos as in San Andreas...its a much bigger recreation for example.

And as far as anyone can tell San Fierro and Las Venturas won't be in this game, but if they were, again, they would be a new version of the cities...for example the demo site around CJ's garage wouldn't have ever existed in a new version of San Fierro.

  8. Anyone remember how territorial gangs would try to kill you in GTAIII & GTASA, maybe that will return in GTAV and they'll make it so you can't replenish your health or amo in that area. Kinda like inFAMOUS.

Hope not. It was annoying how you couldn't enter certain areas without getting shot.

Ya, one of the things I hated about GTA III was how you could never return to the mafia held areas without being killed. Closed off a good sized chunk of town. <_<

  9. I was thinking about this game aswell. There could have been a real connection there. Maybe you could have played as sweet when cj bailed on him. and try and take over los santos. when cj's brothers where alive and so on. but its true that it would be to much of a big game to be played on psp

Play as Sweet failing to do anything but stagnate and decline based on what Carl finds when he shows back up. -_-

CJ's brother's death is what caused him to flee LS in the first place, so if you're playing as it was when he was alive CJ would still be around as well.

  10. Because CJ's story is over and done. You bring in CJ and now all its going to be is San Andreas II...and Rockstar is better than that

It's clear, though, that he won't be back...for the same reason we never saw any evidence of GTA III's Liberty City in IV, it's not a good fit for the current 'look' of GTA games.

What I'm getting at, really, is that for the most part the stories of the GTA III era are finished and finished well and to try to tack on some new 'stories' about them this many years down the road (after all San Andreas happened 20 years ago, Vice City 26 etc) would only take away from the originals. There's a reason the only III add-on games have been prequels.

And as for Lazlow he IS GTA radio. He writes it, produces it, stars in it. Lazlow isn't a character...hes the soul of the radio stations.

    -EDIT-

    Also:

Claude would be in his 40s

    Vercetti would be 61

    CJ would be 44

    Middle-aged CJ! Yay!

  11. "El Burro is referenced as he was also referenced in GTA 1, so it felt appropriate that he should cross “universes” – the “universes” are the worlds interpreted at different definitions, 2d, 3d and high definition, so we felt brands and radio / back ground characters would exist in both, but 3 dimensional characters would not. This is the logic (as far as it could be considered logical) behind it – so no, we don’t believe any GTA3 characters could exist in the GTA4 universe."

    -Rockstar

So I'd say no, it isn't, because Donald Love is definitely a character.
