  1. I did the same thing with regards to North. The loner pic looked more like a sunrise than sunset to me but obviously my ideas have evolved.
  2. The red in the lower pic is just the hill with trees. Not the same as the upper red. There's only a few colors that stand out. It took me a little to decipher your other stuff since different groups of pics had different colors for the same thing. I don't think grizzly is in the train shot. I think it is off camera to the right. Awesome panoramas btw.
  3. Nothing earth-shattering. Just posting to get other people thinking: blah. just updating the cattle shot on the far right: I doubt i'm the only one to do something like this: I thought there was a few burned-out buildings over here....................................^ but it appears to be shit tree textures. #gtaivproblems
  4. I doubt it. Stories are what they are all about. "Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience." "... will also ..." tells me online is in addition to everything else (story mode). RDR's online was kind of a foundation for GTA Online so I'm sure most of us assume RDR2's online will build upon GTAO.
  5. Forgot that cattle shot. I was trying to do something similar with that map and camera angles but things weren't quite lining up as they should. As for the river, I was looking at something similar. I had it continuing left past the building with that bottom-left spot unrelated.
  6. I'm like 4th dimension. Dup is somewhere in the 7th at this point. @DuPz0r One thing I don't like about "pyramid" is that in the final posse shot the trees appear to be white/snow covered but in the homestead/dead deer shot they are green with less snow. Perhaps they were untextured for the final shot or if you really want to speculate, we'll see actual changes in seasons. edit Using Dup's names:
  7. There. Was 2 seconds away from doing it.
  8. I'm still thinking that posse is fighting against the old gang. Bill Williamson's signature hat is not present on any of those riders. I always had a joke in my head about setting up a camera and having to sit still for 30 seconds to get a good picture.
  9. It definitely seems like we got many shots of the same area. All with nice forests or plains in the foreground and snowy mountains in the distance. It's getting to a point where it's the same mountains in the background of every single shot.
  10. I think this could be right: -forget this one- Actually taking another look you might have the rocks correct. But I think the mountains are closer to what I have. edit again: Fuck it you might be right. I'm tired as shit right now. As in:
  11. The two winding river shots are definitely the same place. Same trees in the middle-right. As for the relation to that "leaked" map: I think you are looking at the wrong place. The river in the trailer is much smaller and much more winding.
  12. Screencaps for anyone that cares. Breakdown of what I noticed: A lone rider greets the sunrise in a hilly area. Draw distance is already looking good. Elk are shown in a lush frontier. Sheep on a farm with rats scurrying around in the foreground. A fox hunts down a squirrel in the forest as sunlight streams through the trees. Pelicans glide around a small, winding river valley. A campfire lights up the trees under a starry night sky. A rancher brings home a deer carcass on horseback as robins look on from a fence. Two men enjoy a canoe ride as we pass along the shore. Notice something hanging in the tree? Buffalo walk along the railroad as a train attempts to get by. Two well-to-do men (who look similar to Trevor and Michael btw) in a carriage pass in front of common folk at a general store. The dog appears to watch the carriage roll by. A cowboy saddles up as cattle pass the barn. Vultures take in a coyote carcass as a dog barks next to them. People go about their business as a burned-out building smokes in the background. A horseback rider strolls over to a field of burning oil derricks. Presumably the same person - possibly our protagonist - looks around at the flames. A posse takes off into the fields looking ready for a fight ahead.
  13. http://www.ireddead.com/reddeadredemption2/wildlife-and-other-creatures/ So far we have seen or heard about: Alligators Badgers Bats Bears Buffalo Cardinals Cats Cattle Chickens Cormorants Cougars Coyotes Crows Deer Dogs Ducks Eagles Elk Fish (various including sturgeons and salmon) Foxes Frogs Geese Gila Monsters Horses (19 breeds) Moose Owls Pelicans Pigeons Possums Pronghorn Rabbits Raccoons Rats Rattle Snakes Robins Sheep Squirrels Sturgeons Vultures Wild boar (hog/pig) Wolves Younger animals are featured as shown with the buffalos. I love the animal interactions we saw in the trailer. Really looks more realistic with predators going after prey and not just us.
  14. Trailer topic made. Locking this temporarily.
  15. Maybe someone should make a trailer topic. Since we have a whole subforum now.
  16. Just because he's in the game doesn't mean they really know each other at that point. We might see Edgar doing investigations into their crimes. Or if we go with the protag-against-Dutch's-gang theory, maybe the new protag works with the feds to take down Dutch's gang.
  17. They may have had other members of the gang back-in-the-day. Guys that were more expendable or weren't around long enough to be part of the core group. My guess: We follow a new person who was either in the gang or someone fighting against them.
  18. I have a feeling we are going to end up hating John. As in they are going to show him doing stuff that isn't right or what we would expect of him. Like he kills an innocent child or something fucked up like that.
  19. I think we all know there are going to be delays. We're talking about Rockstar.
  20. Going by the general (without delays) hype schedule, they usually run a 6 month hype train. So hopefully April/May. Redemption was May.
  21. ^That would piss off so many people if that's all it was. And I doubt a remaster release because they don't hype that stuff in this manner. This is definitely a new game.
