Here's that panoramic and a clearer shot of the Snowy mt/ West Elizebeth next to eachother. You can see if the far right corner that the desert landmass matches up, which also matches the new screenshot.
That would be the unknown southern landmass across the Mexican boarder directly south of Flat Iron.
A lot of the previews states that R* said they could go as far as the eye could see. And i'd imagine that bit of land is much more visable from the Horseshoe Overlook camp, which is where i'd aslo bet some of the previewers asked that very question.

I'm still hesitant to believe for some reason. Maybe i don't want to get my hopes up, or maybe i only believe what R* tells me. Straight from the horses mouth.
And yeah, at first glance i feel like that shot could be Scarlette Meadows looking out over the Nuevo/Austin, but i don't know anymore...

Been scrutinising this panorama for the last 3 hours... Changed the brightness and contrast to extremes that aren't good for the human eyes. And i think I've found the sweet spot.
Update:
Still one thing that bugs me... Where the fuck is this elusive Emerald Ranch...?! Reckon it got changed or removed since the days of the leaked map?
Something just doesn't feel right with the right side of the image.

I was wrong about Arthur being on Balsam Rise, i think he's on Roanoke Ridge somewhere(providing the ridge continues west of the river), and that pool of water is just below Brandywine Drop. Closer to where you placed your marker on the map Vicey.

Yeah i just figured that lake was the same as the one from that shot. I recognised the shape of it. So it's from Balsam looking south. The land is much larger than i expected in that direction.

I know it's the same artwork over and over again, but it's nice to see R*'s advertising campign from all corners of the earth (because we all know the [game] world is flat).

I think the reason why there was excitement around the GTA V posters and ads was because we were seeing new characters for the first time from advertisement. Since R* didnt reveal them before then. So every time we got a new poster we didnt know if it was going to be a new character or not.

I hear rumors of people playing the game early. Potentially straight from the press into their pocket kind of rumors. Apparently the person in these images have been tracked down to a PSN group, and it's been verified (Of course, it could be completely fake, i can't find the source).

Considering the other post got deleted, I'll comment here.
In the other "leaked" image I originally thought it was fake because it showed 2 different icons for the game. Turns out, one of the icons is for a community. Someone in the "RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2" community has the game. Look it up. Type in that exact name. Should be the first one with 11.5k members and the desc says "DIE HARD R* FANS". Someone in there has the game.
Edit: This person is also in the "Red Dead PS4" community as well.-

Yeah i mean it could be complete BS about the see it, go there quote. I'd assume it would be impassable mountains and rivers that would make the world barriers anyway. I'm still not going to believe anything unless i can see Arthur or anything moving around on the Mexican side to be honest.
