  1. well i got my copy about an hour ago and after installing disk 1 (which took 20mins) i had 10mins to do the first part of the game upto the point it lets you save at which point i had to go out

from the little i've played i'm liking it so far, the intro to the game is possibly the best i've ever seen/played.

the graphics are fantastic, not done much running or walking so i'll hold off there, driving is much better imo and the camera for driving is also much better and usable this time around.

gun fights are much improved and lot like RDR but with tweaks done for GTA style play.

i did get into a cop battle and a chase, the cops seem much more competent in shooting you, taking advantage of distance and cover much more effectively which makes a shoot out with them alittle more of a challenge and interesting.

police chases are much better also, the cops actually seem to know how to drive this time around and as a result i had one right on my ass for several blocks before managing to get out of sight, once you are out of sight hiding is the next job, this took abit of doing and some pre-thought on direction using the radar.

time will tell as to this being a one off/luck of the draw but so far i'm happy.

next play i'm be doing some missions to unlock some more features before driving around, get a feel for the layout of the map aswell as some of the vehicles.

  2. Hey not sure where to post this, maybe someone can help me out. I registered on Social Club and linked my PSN to it, then I took a nice picture ingame and uploaded it. How can I view the gallery from my pc to download the photo?

I believe you will have to wait for the Social Club website to be updated with the GTA V content later today/tonight.

considering the social club is very online related i doubt we will see anything until 2 weeks from now.

that haven't even got gta v in coming soon (like they have with agent)

  3. So, not having the game yet (and as a 360 owner), you only have to DL the first disc and can play the full game from that, and the second disc just sits in the box? Sorry if I sounds noobish here, but I'm confused about this . . .

disk one gets installed, after installed its left in the box.

disk two is put into the disk drive to play the game - rockstar are saying not to install this disk at all if you want the game to run as they intended

  4. Omg guys I have to tell you this, It's not really a spoiler but it's my first impression about cars. Put a spoiler tag just in case.

Some of you know how critical I was, regarding the GTA IV car audio.

I just found a Coquette and holy crap, I was just standing there and revving the shit out of the car in neutral and watch it backfire.

The sound is completely overhauled, cars actually have rev limiters now, so it's bouncing off the rev limiter if you got full throttle. The frickin' backfire looks better than Forza 5 lol, who needs next gen? The engine when accelerating sounds like a high revving V8 with variable valve timing, also has proper sound effect when deccelerating. I've just let the car engine running on idle for a minute just to hear the awesome subwoofer effect.(It's really cool when you have a 5.1 digital surround)The xenon lights at night remind me of IceEnhancer on pc.

The driving itself is different from GTA IV, have to play some more. Cars have more grip, the steering is very responsive, but you can still spin out or roll over. It's not MCLA or Sleeping Dogs. Only annoying thing so far is the handbrake cam, I can't turn it off.

the only thing that annoyed me with driving in IV was the horrible camera it had, i had to constantly move the camera while i turned a corner, or went over a hill otherwise being able to see anything was impossible and i crashed all the time.

other that, i don't really care what they did
