the epsilon missions are not required for 100% completion
there is a an achievement/trophy for it though
-
due to my little cunt of a brother telling me what happens (thinking i have completed the story as my completion % is much higher than his) i found out about option C.
thinking there was only one option i've now fucked it up royally by reading the thread. on the other hand, i know which one to pick now

I'm just spitballing here, but could the disappearing-car issues be related to the Social Club problems? We know that the iFruit app allows you to customize cars and have them delivered in-game, which means at least part of the car ownership mechanism lives in the cloud. And we know the Social Club web services have been hit or miss since day one, mostly miss. I realize it sounds ridiculous, but it would potentially explain the sporadic nature of the problem - sometimes my car disappears, sometimes it doesn't, sometime it reappears days later at the impound or in my garage.not a bad theory. there but i don't think it would have such a profound effect as this.
personaly not had a problem with cars going missing from a garage, other than a car for what ever reason, teleporting from the garage to outside as if i parked it there

done an enjoyable unexpected random event today.
driving randomly and happened to accidentally drive into one of the construction yards in the city. when a cinematic scene took over, showing a guy in a phone while sitting in his truck.
it switched to a view of the crane holding some heavy pipes as the cable snapped dropping said pipes on the truck which becomes a time bomb and the pipes trapped the man inside
so i jumped into the bulldozer (at the poor mans request) and moved the pipes out the way so he could get out, queing another cinematic of the man thanking micheal as the truck explodes
i knew about the muggings and stuff but this was cool because i didn't expect it
-
i found that aswell but it was in a different area, i drove past afew more, as its a bank i expect its some of the locations for the heists in online mode
-
finally got this to work
i was happy to find this, quickly nicked it and shoved it into the house garage
used this to get the acheivment for modding a car, spent about 75K on it, and will be pimping it out more as parts unlock, love this car, so much fun to drive

Only benefit of choosing A.you don't have to get Michael to learn to fly
in my case
get to blow the shit out of a cargo ship
that being said
could have had a fucking nuke man.....thats awesome and made the security totally justified, i expected a container of gold bars or something

i just played this mission, possibly the most fun mission so far and probably difficult to beat (although the start was a bit slow0
-
switched to micheal and had him laying in bed, screams and wakes up abruptly (assuming a bad dream/flashback) he gets up and puts on a suit before i get control of him.

You hear that kids? In order to view the screen better, R* wants you to sit right in front of your TV.i wear glasses already so no big deal.
not being able to save my moded car pisses me off after loosing one 3 mins after spending 100k on mods for it
And this is why I'm no longer modding any cars
after getting told my elegy was in the impound lot and having $283 on me, i went to go pick it up, and i found that car i modded there, so got that out instead. i am now very happy

There are two major flaws imo:
1. Even non offroad vehicles can climb steep hills very quick without loosing grip.
2. It's possible to turn around any vehicle that has landed upside down, by simply steering right or left.
It feels like an exploit imo, so I don't use that most of the time.
If this was intended, why bother making a crawl out of the car animation.
it was intended, because people kept bitching about their cars being on the roof in the middle of no where and having to walk
to that i say be careful not to roll the fucking thing in the first place.

Yes, sticking up the dollar pills. I think you might have to be in a 4 door car.i was in a 2 door car when i saw him, he asked me to get a 4 door car and take him but i went to far and he disappeared, hope i can get him still.

franklin i've seen saving lamar from a fight, doing pull ups on the bars at the beach, and afew boring things aswell.
micheal does do alot interesting, seen him arguing with his wife, stuck in traffic, first time i switched to him he was having dinner with his wife (who conveniently didn't want to stay anylonger)
trevor was boring everytime i switched to him but he made upfor it all when i switched over to him to find him strangling a guy to death at the marina, moaning about not having a boat to dumb a body in the ocean, at which point he pushes the body over the railing and into the water.
-
bought vehicles may be considered a "special" vehicle, when you go into the garage press right on the D-pad and it will be in that list, you can find the elegy if you are linked to the social club (all 3 characters have one)
-
insurance is only for online it would seem.
which pisses me off as it means i've lost my phoenix that a modded the crap out of
-
i think meeting Trevor in person would be the only time pissing and/or shitting yourself on the spot would be an acceptable response.
and here is why.
i have a total of 8 hours play time.
36% of it with Micheal
44% of it with Franklin
22% of it with Trevor
given i have mostly done the missions at this point, the kill number talks for itself
Micheal - 44 kills
Franklin - 53 kills
Trevor - 167 kills

we need a markable map

it looks like some compaines don't work ingame only.
if you are connected to the social club you activity effect the stock for everyone else on a day by day basis, ammu-nation is one such business, so as players buying ammo and guns aswell as buying stock and selling stock it effects the global stock market (i.e. everyone who has their internet running and has their account linked to the social club)

The whole training Chop with a real-life App thing pisses me off. I have an Ipad but I don't want to do that. Why couldn't they just do an in-game training system for the dog.you do know you can do it ingame aswell right?
just go into the back garden of franklin's house (as franklin) to the dog kennel, onscreen instruction tell you what to do.
it not open to you until you have done afew missions though

Guys there is an option for a different crosshair, go to display -> crosshair. Have fun shooting. Looks more like IV.shall have to look into the settings then, need to turn subtiltles on anyway (done 20% of the game so far)
-
i do have a small issue with the driving, i love it compared to IV's driving mechanics but for me they now went abit too far to arcade driving, its still fun but there is no longer in any challenge in driving fast, franklins special ability i often find i don't need but dart in and out of traffic isn't that difficult in the first place.
i would like to see abit of realism in the game from the driving, i'm not after forza motor sport or grand turismo but actualy having to slow down for a corner would be nice.
it gta though, i don't expect to be able to take 100 shots to the chest and still run away, i don't expect to die after one shot either i want that middle ground.
the driving in V i can live with, as its enough to do some cool moves to keep thing interesting (driving at 120mph weaving in and out of semi trucks on the highway doesn't get old, even if i do get abit cocky a spin out after clipping a truck, causing a large pile up.
-
you lot not missing much, this app is all kinds of fucked atm.
not been able to sign in for the last 32 hours, now its started not even trying, telling me that i can't check the version of the app and to check my internet connection.
fucking pile of shit and a waste of time.
-
ok i've played it for a fair bit now, won't comment on radios stations, too busy looking around and driving but i have some dislikes about the game now.
shooting is a pain in the ass, if you come off lock you can't just flick the stick to lock onto the next person, you got to come out of aim and back in which i keep forgetting, resulting in my death.
jumping in cars is stupid, the in air control level is so high it almost impossible to land badly, i liked the small uncertainty of if i'm going to level the car in time.
driving is abit arcade style for my liking, would like abit of skill and brakes requirement, bit more realistic acceleration and braking wouldn't hurt either.
bit lacking in tattoos and hair cut syles, how dlc for it comes out, quite clear the plan to add more guns to the game.
theres afew other things but i'll see if i get used to them first
EDIT: actualy, i'm getting rather pissed of about the social club crashing every 5 mins that stops the desktop stat reading, app use and taking photos
