    dont worry, you'll find more toy cars... and yes, speech is a good skill to have... <{ i just farted!! }
  6. i don't feel like mentioning it on facebook today, i want to give them more of a heads up... but it does have me thinking that we could get something going on the xbox side by using social media, including twitter... perhaps i will work on some logos today after the match, and go from there... or fuck it, i'll see how easy it is to post the topic links at work... igta5 is blocked at work on my computer...
  7. bane... when he speaks, it sends a chill down your spine... he's so clever, yet so ruthless... and catwoman, the little piano jingle they play when she's on the screen is timeless... hans zimmer adds a mysteriously catchy jingle that will be stuck in my head forever... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crA5dh0_S9c

    @DiO... and karma-wise, it's really all how you play the game... chances are, even if you're a little evil, you'll still be considered a good person... in fallout, the line between good and evil is very thin... a lot of quests have a grey direction, sometimes you don't really know which path is the good path... some are quite obvious, and others are almost reversed, being evil for doing a potentially good thing...
  9. i kinda wonder if the aged san andreas could run on my laptop...

    it's hard not to steal something in fallout... plus, you can at least sell stolen items because in the wasteland, no one cares where you got it from.. in case you didn't know, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Portal:Fallout_3 this place has all the answers you will ever need for quests and items... while i wouldn't tell you to not restart, i would encourage you to press on, and at least give it a shot... you can always create a new character once you know more about the game, but there's plenty of good energy weapons lying around... go through operation anchorage at some point, there's a great energy weapon rewarded for completing it... also, the mutant overlords you might run into could be carrying the tri-beam laser rifle... also, BE CAREFUL OF SUPER MUTANT OVERLORDS!! the only thing i see being a problem was tagging big guns... but as long as you sink your points into something else for now, you should be alright... there's nothing wrong with a little skill at big guns, it keeps the weapon more steady the better it is... and really, if you want to, use them... i usually have a million pounds of ammo for those weapons... and the gatling laser is pretty nasty... and so are the incenerators... kinda makes me want to create a character and focus on big guns... my last character focused on melee...
  11. wow, only 4 of us again?? we gotta get more people in on this... maybe i should start advertising it on facebook...

    damn, i should of mentioned big guns, you can be effective with them even with crappy skills... there's nothing wrong with energy weapons, you won't find the best weapons, but you'll still be quite effective with a very select few rare ones that deal great damage... one is housed on mothership zeta, and it also requires a very very high skill in science to get... energy weapons will pay off in the end if you stick with them... but anyone starting out should use small guns, even if you want to eventually use energy weapons... small guns are in abundance in the wasteland, energy weapons are in the 2nd act of the game...
  13. 18 gold medals will never be broken... congrats phelps, you will live on for centuries...
  14. yea the college quests felt out of place for my breton warrior... i used very little magic and it didn't feel like a fit... so i never did the thieves guild or the dark brotherhood because those didn't feel like noble heroic quest lines anyways... i smartly saved those for my sneak thief assassin character...

    yea, the xuanlong is something easily missed by those who suck at math like i do... i am glad i reloaded that save the 1st time when i realized something was up... i had to look it up online and i was glad i did... it's at the museum of technology, in the DC mall... you'll run into it through the main story if you help a brother out...

    i couldn't find it, i was gonna quote it for him... his post on the previous page has to do with mothership zeta... synch has a lengthy post here with tips for newbies because at the time, i think two new people were getting into it... i went back about 5 pages and couldn't find it, it's buried in here somewhere...

    charisma isn't really important in this game, it only has a few perks tied to it, and those could be better suited for skills like strength, luck, and agility... plus, you could sink points into speech or barter to off-set the lower starting point in those skills... perks that boost skills by 5 are nice quick boosts, but you can advance those skills anyways when you level up next time... lead belly is pointless, here and now is kind of waste of a level and a perk... scrounger and fortune finder are up to you... if you look hard enough, you can find more ammo and bottle caps anyways, especially through trading... take comprehension early and the one that gives you 3 extra skills points too... avoid point lookout and mothership zeta early on... you're not even close to ready... hotkey stimpacks... collect light/valuable items like pilot lights, nuka colas and conductors for resale.... always collect scrap metal, someone is always looking for some... eh, that's all i got for now...
  20. here's a couple more of those glitches i mentioned having pics of... i think it's in that same spot the dirt bike one came from i posted earlier... angel pine i believe... --------------------- one of the bridges to las venturas... traffic always seemed to get stuck up there when LV was blocked off...

    fallout 3 was the first bethesda game, new vegas followed up in 2 years... i would personally recommend playing 3 first, it does a good job of throwing you into the world of fallout... if you like 3, you'll love new vegas...

    Fallout

    3 or new vegas?? actually, that doesn't matter... i finished playing through another character on 3 just last month... get reday to immerse yourself into the world of 50's propaganda and nuclear technology, then advance time 200 years after the big boom, into the middle of a bleak world with remnants of the old world that once was... then throw in raider gangs and scary mutated creatures... it'll feel similar to skyrim, but with it's own dark humor... and guns...
  23. i thought for sure there'd be footprints... the snow seems to show light paths if there's enough of it on the ground, watch when he runs through the woods... but light snow should really show footprints... this console generation is starting to show some age, and it's this year that it's starting to appear more frequently...
  24. yea it was a good story...
